The metal jar lids with the porcelain lining are ZINC Lids. They are older than 1950’s. They will sell well, as a lot of jar collectors need lids.
And some of us have dropped and broke our glass lids. If you run across a blue lid for a pint jar I need one!! I dropped mine.😢 My jar came from a very special Aunt.
Luv the milk glass vase w flower frog! Pretty! 💖 Hey Roo!
I think you had the glass lids upside down on the mason jar, the grooved side should be down on the jar, and there is a rubber gasket that was missing too.
Love you guys!
I love you and Grandma Ventures you guys are addicting
Love the video.Gma Ventures and I love the Mason Jars they are awesome .
Yes really cool I love the blue ones
I love all the blue Ball canning jars you found...I would like one of the blue insulators you found since I worked for Western Electric back in the 70's, I will check on your site.
Thanks again for another interesting video!!!!!
You’re more than welcome
There was a shortage of canning jars last year. They should sell well.
wade should auction them. A bidding war could make those jars the most expensive in history. Actually those seals might sell even better. There was a real shortage on those. In some places you still can't get seals.
Did a lot of canning. Then thank God we got a freezer. Hi Grandma Ventures. Hi Wade. You work hard. Bless you all. Glad to see Zorro.
Wade, I love those jars. I have collected some through the years and use them in the kitchen pantry to hold lots of different things, i.e. tea bags, flours, sugars, sweetners, etc.
I would love some of the canning jars with glass tops and ceramic tops for my daughter who is updating an old farmhouse. I hope I am lucky enough to catch them on your Poshmark. Beautiful stuff guys!
Love the vintage items.. keep the laughs going. So much fun to open. …
Oh my so many canning jars. But so awesome. Thanks for sharing Wades.
Yeah those are pretty awesome thanks for watching!
I remember the glass covers I am 55. But now I am thinking about it we may have had some of my grandmothers or great grandmothers canning jars. Of course the jars and caps were used over and over. This helped my mom and Dad provide veggies for their ten kids all winter. You guys have kept me occupied and laughing while I have to be in my temperature controlled room. Wade you and your family are good entertainers. I am happy you have so many videos published!
I like the blue Mason jars. Liked the snoopy glasses they were year I was born. Great video x
I’m so glad is zorro is feeling better💜💜
Yes, the blue ones are more collectables, for decor. Any other colors, like amber, or ones that are turning color. They were highly collectable, but maybe not quite so much now. But still. And people are canning more now because of the times we are in. Let me tell you about my artificial grass. I lived near Eugene and my friends neighbor was a grounds man at Autzen stadium. The old turf was taken out and he brought a lot of it home for the alleys in his horse stable. He gave us three big rolls of it and when I moved to Florence I took it with me and since my home was built on sand I used it all around to cover the sand. It looked really nice.
A hospital museum would love some of that. The Mayo Clinic in MN has one its really cool
If I were part of a film / television company looking for props from the past century, I'd definitely want to get into this collection of stuff... imagine creating a kitchen set in the 1930s... you'd have everything needed for authenticity. Great fun!
I was just thinking the same thing. I saw a program on this man who owned a prop business. Films would rent out a lot of items he has. He collects more all the time.
You said Facebook has worst trolls ever....I had left it so many times myself ( related to mayor of Cornwall Ontario Canada and the High school principal when I went to high school in 1976-81) can understand the cruel things leaving Facebook page to real world of my personal life. Glad to see you found a way to get through the trolls to succeed in audience that cares about your UA-cam videos. Love your laugh and grandma ventures. Keep making vlogs that keep me watching.
Where. Are. The. Mason. Jars. 🦖
Grandma Venture! Yaaay!
Oooo!!! I would LOVE those Snoopy glasses!! When I was a kid I always wanted a different one but always seemed to get the same one lol... Who knows, maybe now I can get a different one LOL!!
Im glad Grandma V is enjoy the show, season 3 is so close to lunching. I love Discovery of Witch's. And i thought you would too.
You were right I am hooked and so is Wade!!! Thank you so much River!!!!
Hello from Texas 75" Glad to see you back. I love her so much I love her since of humor. Between the both you keep me laughing. I hope you all make a fortune. You just keep those videos coming. Your chanel is the best. Love Nana 75"
We had Fowlers canning jars here in Australia. The metal lids had two clips that went on the top. Haven’t seen the ones with the glass inserts. I am 65 . We bottled apricots , peaches etc when we were young . A family affair.
Loved the muppets show!!
You have come across some of the nicest glass ware I've seen in a long time
I would be soooo tempted to keep so much of what you have unboxed.
My mom and my grandmother had canning jars exactly like those ones, I used to help with the canning of everything,my favorite was the pickles and cucumber
I use old canning jars (the German kind called "Weck" or other German brands) for all kinds of things. As a storage container for herbs and teas from my garden, decorative storage for buttons or sea glass. For candles in summer or in Christmas. As vases or collecting seeds in my garden. Sometimes for canning also. I have a bunch from my mother and my mother in law. Many uses for those jars. 😀
I would love to have some of the blue ones you are having there. If overseas shipment and taxes weren't so expensive. 😕
Hey guys I love watching your video because you are real not staged. I don't understand why you don't have a million subscribers 💝💝💝
Love the jars. I still do canning.
❤❤❤❤❤Thank you for sharing your video with us and have a great evening!
Grandma Venture, the blue bulb ( electronic,) are great to use for seedlings to get start
They have red and pink Mason jars
We use the ones where you add the ring and seal but the ones with wire… lot so useful, they are for display
Yesyes i use theme as Christmas Decorations
love that big jack you have in the winow.
You should get a tiny cordless vacuum for when you have to do inside Un- boxing just to get the dust off the top of the box 🤷♀️
I have one of those milk glass flower display dishes. You cut the stems short and remove any leafs. They do seem to last longer because the flowers have less stem to get water. Mine came from my great grandmother who came from Holland
Too funny. I read the books and just now found the series this week. I'm almost done with season 2.
That glass piece with a bunch of holes I think is a flower frog. To arrange flowers easy in a vase or pot.
Awesomeness 👏👏👍👍💖💖
Hi guys
The glass thing in the milk glass dish is a flower frog. You put flower buds in the small ones. I collect them. Great bunch of items today. Leta
For the glass syringes the barrels and plungers should be numbered to match. You can't mix and match.
The clear thing with holes is called a flower frog and can go in any vase it will fit in to arrange flowers or buds.
The little glass round with all the holes is called a frog. They are used to separate flowers in displays, bowls and vases.
I do a lot of canning. Spaghetti sauce, apple sauce, beef stew, turkey soup, chicken soup, chilli green beans, carrots, etc.
Thanks for the answer to where they go after the show table. The glass with small holes is called a frog..you put cut flowers to arrange them for your table.
Glass round in the milk glass is for flowers 🌸
my kitchen derco is mason jars so yes use them everyday. plus i decorte them for candle use
The piece with the holes is called a flower frog. You would put it in a vase to hold the flowers. Most are very collectible.
Agree for flowers
Ok, let's see those suckers! :D
I do make my own chutneys and some jams, but I usually use recycled jam jars, I don't think I've ever used those mason jars. They are pretty though!
I like the clear ones with red flower 🌹
Italian silver salad set..looks like 👍
The green ones are by anchor hocking---the base makes them the bubble pattern
Hi Ventures Grandma V. How do 5he glass tops with the Zinc seal?
The different colours insulators can be worth a lot of money, adventure of archaeology southern diggers will be able to help you price them.
those mcdonald glasses where ended because of the paint having lead in it, I use to love them
The glass item with holes is for arranging flowers. I believe called a “frog”. I may be incorrect…. Beautiful glasses with the painted flower.. love the fire king with pheasant, reminds me of growing up on the farm.. 😊
Hi Wade and grandma ventures he is a gorgeous dog
Oh yes I’ve been on many a picket line here in the uk ( my dad was a union leader ) we had miners strikes, newspaper strikes, ban the bomb picketing, our nhs, our education, marches on equality, against racism and fascism.many a march we went on, very fond memories of marching and singing. Loving all the jars! Lots of lovely treasures. Much love from 🇬🇧 x
OH! I can, too, those are NICE old canning jars! Yeah, right about your age LOL! You know if I can/pickle I'm prob over 50! I've NEVER SEEN ones that old; they should be in a collection, I wouldn't try to can with them now, the idea of putting them in a pressure cooker is a NO GO; especially the ones with bubbles. So cool! Epic canning jar haul, and some very nice old medical stuff!
I have muscadine vine. I do muscadine jelly. Regular and hot pepper muscadine jelly. The red pepper is great with cream cheese mixed to make a dip with crackers. Taste great.
All those canning jars, if I still made jam and marmalade I would love them, especially the blue ones as I agree Grandma that they are a lovely colour. I know my Dads Mum used to make a lot of jams from the fruit Grandad grew and what their children used to pick and she used to can the vegetables Grandad grew and during the depression and WWII they kept the family fed ( they had 7 children) Its lovely to see Zoro on the mend, he loves being where the action is I think lol. Good luck with your Poshmark sites my friends God bless you all love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
Never ever seen mason and Kerr jars that were that old be so clean. They look like they just came off the hardware store shelf . Back in the day they were often sold at the hardware store .
Love the muppets watched them all the time growing up live the Mac ds glasses
The round glass thing with all of the small holes is called a (flower) Frog. They go in the bottom of a vase/dish for flower arranging.
Glass syringes had to be matched with their original plungers or they usually didn’t fit, then we used to lubricate them with heparin so they would slime easily.
I Muppets Christmas Carole is my favorite DVD. Beautiful songs too.
Grandma V should be a stand up comedian.
I actually sneezed when she said the dust is kinda floating around 🤧 lol 😆
Use to can alot just hubby and I now. After decades of canning I finally hit on a wonderful way to make applesauce no scorching. Cook apples and spices in the crock pot until they are well cooked then place in jars putt in canner seal. Woks great.
I love watching your videos. I just wish you could ship to Canada.
I do love my Canadians!
You could try selling/ donating to a medical museum. There are many in Washinton state or the main one in Washington DC is the National Museum of Health and Medicine.
You get tax credit for donations not to mention your names with the display.
The U.S. ARMY has a medical museum in San Antonio, TX on Ft Sam Houston, the home of Army Medicine.
I would buy the one with the 🐭 i mean I used to have a white mouse as a pet in elementary but I had to share it.. it was the classes n I loved taking it home on the weekend I built it a mansion outta wood n glass windows it stayed in
Canning jars are fantastic! Aren’t they zinc lids…with the porcelain?
We used to use old consol jars in South Africa. It's the same as you have there now or similar. They still make them today if you are looking for the rubber rings that are used to seal the jars properly. Consol is the name of the company.
I would check before mailing them syringes to different States States some States would consider them paraphernalia
The green glasses with the 'bumpy' bottoms are called "Boopies" or Tetley Teas. Very collectible.
Those colors look great on your grandma venture
The box with the slightly curved metal things are tear duct probes and the box before that was a very old tracheotomy support with a plug for the trach.
The clear jar with the locking lids aren't old .any with color are generally old. But they do sLe colored jars today.
Your video with all the silver service pieces the large sheers ( sissors) are old sheep sheers, the pie server with crystal handles from Japan, are for a bride and groom to cut thier cake.
Those little glasses are for breakfast orange juice where I come from. I wish I lived close by to you. I could use those mason jars for jam, piccalilli, chutneys to etc. 🥰
The glass thing with holes is a frog for flower arranging. It holds the flowers in place
I remember Princess House and I bought them back in the day...
I am handicapped (stroke), and I carefully can. I also own several dozen vintage/antique jars.
That’s horrible how long ago did that happen?
I watch on the TV but always like on my phone.. I love that show too
Yes we still use them for canning for those of us that still can veggies
I also have the glass bowl with the silver rim
Wanted six videos today. Saw one where your UA-cam check was $1.05 . It should be bigger this month I’m watching all the commercials and wearing out the thumbs up button . Hopefully you won on football today .
Darn auto correct not wanted watched .
David thank you so much for the support you show Wade and Ashley on their channel!!!!!
I am watching the final game today and feel like I will come out ahead!! Hope you are having a great holiday weekend too!
@@GrandmaVentures Happy to do it . He works hard and there both great people . But none of us compare to you . I’ve never seen a woman do as much for a son as you do . He says you’re not only his mom but his friend . I don’t think there’s a day you don’t help in some way and it’s usually a huge way . Your name should be glue . Because you’re the one that holds it all together over there .
That glas circle with the holes is for flowers!
The glass with flowers are close to 60 years old. My grandm had a set.
The jars are beautiful. The bubbles are called blisters. When you work in a glass plant.
Hi Grandma, the Discovery of witches is based on books hope the tv series is as good.
The jars with the glass lids there would have been a Rubber seal that goes around the top of the jar first and then you put the glass lid on and then the the ring
Canning jars make cute vases.
I picketed our local school board for playing our kids as lottery. They picked kids to move to schools other than their neighborhood school. We had kids walking with us dressed as lottery balls.
