- After several warnings swimmer jumps in the ocean at Kaimana beach where a mother Hawaiian monk seal protects young pup.... #shorts
Thank you for the giving this video an accurate title! So tired of seeing "woman attacked by seal" when it was the ignorant swimmer's fault!
Glad the title resonates to what happened. Hopefully people will be more aware of their surroundings in the future.
Nobody else was stupid to go swimming right in front of the seals. Ropes and signs on the beach were placed for a reason. Learn the hard way but they should of pay a fine
And a night in jail.
She couldn’t swim or walk fast to the shore but she sure can walk fast to that canoe 🙂
Okay her argument is non-valid. She said she could not hear the people yelling at her and warning her to get out, she said she could not hear the life guards. Supposedly this video was shot by her husband from their hotel room(?). I call bs on her, you can clearly hear the people on the shore yelling at her, you can hear the seal mama vocalizing. At one point she starts to swim away from the mama, then stops and turns toward the seal till it gets to her and she tries to swim away. She is like 15-20 yards away from shore and she stays in the water. Aiyah.
She f#%ked around and found out.
Her own fault know not to mess with baby and mama and she acts like she's the victim makes me angry .
Eine tolle Mama beschützt ihr Baby 💖💖💖💖💖💖
What the hell is she doing!? Can't she hear the people calling her to get to shore?
I gotta hand it to her husband who supposedly filmed this, Good Job!
Why can't we people leave the poor animals alone ?? Why?? .... What did they ever do to you and you don't leave them a moment's peace.... Never swim with seals, dolphins ,school of fish, or stingrays, scientists say all the time... Sharks could attack you. Also, animals with pups, are aggressive to protect their young, birds do it, dogs do it , cats do it and seals (!) do it... 🤔 Maybe there was a shark in the area and she was trying to protect her baby , or maybe they were trying to rest before they get back into the ocean. Don't bother wildlife, it's irresponsible behavior to say the least 😡😡😡
I'm dead did her husband just film the whole attack from the 12th floor lol he never went to help his wife! Holy crap
right!!!
Why the hell would she start backing back up, instead of getting the fuk out, she continues on teasing the seal
A true meaning to - FAFO... Please tell me people get fines for these violations...
Unfortunately she didn't .....
Nope. Hawai'i Tourism Authority too afraid to scare people away. Maybe the bites she got will keep her away next time
@@808frost3 Doubt it - "Karen", will probably sue for mental anguish and a host of other things and probably petition to have the "animal" put down... Those people do it to dogs - all the time...
Excelent 😊👌
Smh when are we going to learn a tiger is a tiger like a Seal is a Seal? People play with animals so much now they think tigers, lions, buffalos, dolphins and poor seals are personal pets too I guess. These are animals ( wild) not your cats and dogs. Even though I love all animals but come on this has gotten ridiculous. I pray the women is ok and the same for the Seals. 🙏....
She obviously wasn’t thinking 🤦🏻♀️
I could only imagine the amount of times his teachers repeatedly said the same things over an over to this adult 🤨
My takeaway from all this is she's definitely not a swimmer ...
or scared shitless!
thanks

Good to see Monk seals at Kaimana beach. Years ago all you saw were haoles and strippers getting tanned. Use to have polished glass wash up on shore, years ago.
She's tryin to swim with the 🦭 🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🥴
What was them signs saying, what a fool....she was lucky the signs wasnt saying great white shark or saltwater croc with nursing pup, play silly games win silly prizes...
Seriously. Seals are way bigger in real life than what people think and their teeth are huge. Throw motherly instinct in the mix and it is a recipe for disaster. This woman was very lucky as it could have been worse. Maybe her nightmares will keep her from ignoring signs in the future.
Seals looks cute in the zoo but in real life, underwater they looks like prehistoric sea monster
@@mizzLopez - Not to mention her permanently scarred face and shoulder will remind her of her utter stupidity... everytime she looks in the mirror.
When ur told Swim too shore, why swim away from shore?????
Good i hope she tasted great 👍
The person could of just swim away and get on the sand the person was close enough and also when the person wasn't right near the seals the mother seal left the swimmer alone but the swimmer kept turning towards the baby any good mother will protect there children weather you are human or animal your babies are your babies end of
Lmao😂😂
Gee wiz get out of the water to shore not back out to sea!
Baby seal want to play, mother stranger is Danger
Haha
1:05 Is that farting sound the seal?
Yes
Coming from silly old fools lady diapers.
That’s why she gets 😂😂😂 then wanna play victim 😂😂😂
🤣🤪😢😭
I don’t think you can say “ swimmer” in caption. This guy could barely even walk it looks like. What a kook.
That "guy" is actually a woman... with a permanent ugly scar on her face, to forever remind of her arrogance in not heeding the warnings of the volunteers, from the Hawaiian Monk Seal conservancy group that were there early that morning. Although the title states that "lifeguards were warning the female swimmer", that is incorrect = The Kaimana Beach lifeguard had not arrived yet as the beach was closed to swimmers as is always the case when the resident female Hawaiian Monk Seals; Rocky and Kaiwi, are nursing a pup.
It was easy to distract the animal. There is one thing. Lots of cowards only watching.
The area is roped off and blocked. She shouldn’t be there in the first place. The Hawaiian monk seals are very endangered and the both state and federal governments are trying to protect the animals. As u can see, nobody else is swimming in that area because there’s are so many signs not to go swim in that area in this particular time because of the mother and her pup. Kamaina is a popular swimming spot here in Waikiki but nobody is swimming there now due to the mother and pup.
Do we need to save stupid people because they ignored all the signs and rope off area. She saw the seals at the beginning of the video, instead of swim away, she decided to swim toward it.
Plenty of people had warned her and yelled to her to get out. It's 100% on her
