*6:48** The power headrest doesn't have the button on the headrest itself so there's nothing to push. Therefore i have not been able to remove the power headrest. Do you have any idea how to remove the power headrest? The video was extremely helpful for the passenger headrest tho..*
Instead of using a screwdriver and do it the hard way you can also use a piece if tape. Just place the tape on the gab at the left bottom of the headrest bar. Now you can easily remove the headrest.
Thank goodness for Google and UTube. I learned how to remove the headrest in my Mercedes C320. Thank you very much - ingenious use of a strip of aluminium from a beer can to get past the ratchet. Only downside is that I had to have a pint of Cider at 11 am. Big sacrifice!...Jonathan
If your W204/C Class doesn’t have powered headrest and are manual, there is a much easier way to remove them because you don’t need to unplug the yellow connector because manual headrests don’t have that power cord. Take an aluminum soda can and cut out a rectangle about 1 inch wide by 3 inches long. That’s just rough dimensions, you can trim it down a little if need be but just be careful because the aluminum edges will be sharp. The headrest pole has notches cut in it that catches to raise and lower it into position. Slide the aluminum shim around the headrest pole that has the notches, and this will block the notches so the catch button won’t lock it into place. It takes a couple of tries to get the aluminum shim you made into position, but keep trying and you’ll get it. I’ve done it a few times and I can now get both headrests off in less than 5 minutes. Hope this tip helps, because it’s a lot easier and faster than taking the seat back off. Just remember that my way only works on non powered headrests. If you can adjust your headrests with an electric switch, you’ll need to do it like he did.
Hey man thanks for this video. By the way, I misplaced my Mechanical keys in my W203 while the gloves compartment is locked. Is there any way I can open the gloves compartment without breaking the locks? I will be glad if you can help. Cheers
Hey bro, did you disconnect the battery? I’m not sure if I missed it in the video. I’ve been told by a few people that you need to disconnect the battery first before dealing with the airbag system.
Hey Man Great tutorial, I'm thinking of adding outlets to the back now that I know how to remove that back seat panel add a couple features to the car, by the way I really like the red Hyperdunks those shoes are generally very comfortable.
Doesn't anybody proof read these awful videos!!!!! The sound is not able to be heard! The video is too far away every time an important close-up view is required! Could do better 2/10

NOT TRUE! Does NOT include the POWER headrest. No information on how to remove the headrest from the power unit (without breaking something).
Did anyone had a problem that a headrest air bag goes out randomly? Happened to me 2 times i 7 days..
