Is the optimized combo at 2:40 universal and comboable from all starters?

It's not universal, there are lots of nuances depending on timing, starter and character, and I'm pretty sure more/better variations exist nowadays. I only put the combo there to give a glimpse of what optimized Millia could look like.
I literally cannot play this chara because i just can't get the Jc to airdash fast enough after jd
I had same problem. Couldnt do the instadash on air with ps4 controller. Changed to keyboard and its the best decision of my life.
my issue is iad after the air dusg. just cannot get this down.
On the corner combo with 236S my pin is whiffing under them after the iadH what am I doing wrong?
Need to get them higher up. Doing j.PHD instead of j.KSD is more consistent. You can also delay the airdash after j.D to adjust the height a bit. Play around with it until you get a feel.
Hey, I'm having problems doing Millia's hair car as an ender. My target tends to just air tech after the pin/hair car, so I'm curious if its because I do the ender too late or if I'm too slow during the bnb.
hcaelBBleach You're hitting OTG with haircar. You can do it faster than you think.
Thank you.... but actually when I came back to check your vid recently and I realized I was doing the wrong version of the pin lol. Also, if you dnt mind helping me again do you hve advice for ppl who sorta mash when I set the disc oki? My friends mash grab and tkbm and hair car help but them mashing like 2p is annoying. I want an option besides my scrubby iad cross up over them.
@@hcaelBBleach you jump outta the disc so they will keep blocking. If they mash the disc will hit them, if not, then they will block instead. I recommend that u watch some millia players like Nakamura and Lord Knight so you might have a basic idea of what to do after the disc oki

Do some of these not work anymore because after emerald rain I can't get 2H to connect and iron saviour doesn't get the knockdown at the end of her corner routes
Emerald Rain was slightly changed in Rev 2.1 so it hits more consistently midscreen but the wallbounce doesn't go as far so you might have less time to follow up, it still works. Combos ending in Iron Savior work the same, if it doesn't knock down it's because you hit them off the ground instead of in the air.
Tekken player here, can you tell me which numbers correspond to which directions?
up = 8, down = 2, back = 4, forward = 6. It's based on the numbers on a numpad
for the 2H launcher midscreen, i can only get 2K to hit meaty, am I too slow? very noob here and am not sure if i can tk bad moon or something or if im too slow lol
You should be able to do every mixup meaty. Don't delay the turbofall too much.

Somehow the 3rd combo the one in mid air I can't get high enough to do 236k and end up on the other side.

Ruka90Channel Only works on crouching opponents.

Ruka90Channel There's nothing more to it. Try to hit the link earlier than later. Xrd has a 3f buffer so if you're slightly early it will still work but if you're too late you're just too late.

After the 241P on the ground, does it hard knockdown, or can they tech out of it after they're hit?
If you hit them while they are in the air it knocks down. If you're late and mistime it, it will hit them off the ground and they can tech immediately.

Vein pwnz It really doesn't matter that much, just need to be a bit more concious with pin usage. On the other hand digitalis connects on crouching characters after 5H now and knocks down, and the new j.H is ridiculously strong. Her damage potential is also higher. In my opinion she is buffed overall.
Are u doin this on a controller? Im a beginner in fighting games.
TheDarien77 I'm using an arcade stick but a pad or keyboard (without ghosting) is fine. It's just a matter of practice.
Is millia a good character to start off with?
KamTwoTimes The best character to start with is the one you like the most.
hmmmm, millia is very technical tho, I think Sol or Ky are more beginner friendly
David de Juan Navarro doesn't matter if those chars aren't interesting to you and you lose motivation to practice the game
totally get your point, but at the same time you could also loose interest in the game if you are unable to play the character you like due to its difficulty.
specially since Millia has become more challenging in REV2 for beginners and mid players :(

VDV Rele well um how do you beat a raven and are petals still useful after the nerf
Lucky Bakhtawar 5P, 6P or 236S yrc are good against glide. His antiairs are good so don't try to jump in recklessly. Be careful with pressing pokes because his dash can make them whiff. Learn to differentiate between his different glide angles so you can block his mixups.
Yes chroming rose is still good.
