Madeline is my very favorite actor and I wept when she died. I miss her and frequently check UA-cam for new MK posts. She continues to have a lot of fans.
Madeline was a comic great. I will always miss her great spirit & that brilliant timing she had. If you don't have the timing & great instincts, forget doing comedy. Most actors will tell you that comedy is much more difficult than drama.
Madeline had a scene on Cosby where she kept falling down in the doctor’s office. I saw it once probably 25 years ago, and it’s about the funniest bit I’ve ever seen on television.
It's a blessing to know Madeline Kahn was surrounded by love and acceptance in her work life when she faced her battle with cancer. Cosby is awesome. Thank you for posting this.
Pauline and Hilton moments are the BEST "Do you love me, Pauline?" "...More...more and more." Or my favorite, after she found an unconscious Hilton with "the suicide note": "IT WAS JUST - A JOB - HILTON"
Madeline was a beautiful talented woman. Cosby is a very talented man. Those two together made that a great T.V. show!! Madeline, R.I.P. You made the world a better place during your too short life!
Ovarian cancer took Madeline and Gilda Radnor both -- way before their time -- such brilliant artists - they should have lived to ripe old ages - seems cruel and unfair - RIP
It's not a question of talent or personality in this case. It's about chemistry. If two actors don't have chemistry it's not going to work. There has to be a connection of some sort to make an onscreen relationship believable,
No argument there. But Bill Cosby should have had the guts not to distance himself from it. Who believes that Bill Cosby didn't have the last word in casting the Cosby Show? Bill used to come into my studio regularly to cast for the Cosby Show. There was no doubt who the boss was. And that doesn't mean I don't like Bill because I do.
Yes. There's a GREAT New Yorker piece: "Charlie Rose Interviews Death." "So, Death - tell us about your job." "Well..." "You know, I heard that you..." Charlie doesn't allow him ONE word in - like real life. At the end, Charlie says: "Well, this has been fascinating. I hope to see you again." Death: "Oh, you will..."
Madeline was never credited for her intuitive comedic skills. Cosby was starting to be threatened by her. She shld hv been an SNL Regular w/ Gilda. Madeline & Gilda were in alignment w/ one another’s Comedic wave-length. Two DIAMONDS gone & no one can ever RE-place or out-act either Actress.
How much of an asset was Ms. Kahn to "Cosby"? How long did the show last without her? Considering who else got hurt, I'm not gloating, in spite of events in the meantime.

Madeline was the coolest of the cool cats! May she rest in peace! All hail Madeline!!!

Yeah... About that ....
Awesome...I hear he can make a helluva mixed drink!
About that…
I love Madeline Kahn. I just watched What's Up Doc for, oh I don't know, the 1000th time. What a great movie to make her big screen debut.
One of my favorite movies also

@boricuajazzz8 that comment was before eveything came out about cosby
I hear Cosby was talented at making mixed drinks...
Probably the funniest woman ever in the movies.
Ironic 2 predators having a conversation
I think Cosby's behavior was a bit worse than Rose. Rose did not drug and rape anyone.
Ovarian cancer took Madeline and Gilda Radnor both -- way before their time -- such brilliant artists - they should have lived to ripe old ages - seems cruel and unfair - RIP
Charlie Rose just had Bill Cosby on to ask him for some advice on women.
I had no idea Madeline had past. I'm very very sad.

The chemistry was in the mixed drinks that Cosby prepared.
Rip Ms. Kahn
(1942-1999).
Cosby had the deaths of his son and Madeline BOTH during the show and this is why the show ended
Madeline Kahn and Scatman John died on the same day. Both born in 1942 and aged 57 when they died.
Cosby should've worn a Gordon Gartrell to this interview ...
Pudding POP!

He went and got Phylicia Rashad so im NOT mad at him ...he got somebody he was used to ...comfortable with
"Well, Charlie, I... Yes, I... But... But... You see... Yes, but... Yes, but... Oh - good night."
@miztrixiedelight she was a great actress
Why does he cut bill off? Does he do this to all his guests?
Justin Byers yeah. he does it all the time. he's a shitty interviewer

@@HC-cb4yp hilarious!
So Madeline Kahn never took his pill.
2 creeps that fell from grace. At least, Madeline didn't have to witness what becomes of Bill Cosby.
Randy Ventresca flipyty floop
and danny masterson
2? The interviewer
@miztrixiedelight this is true
He did fire Thelma Hopkins

how is prison ?
Hate to the bearer of bad news buddy, but Cosby is a free man.
Bill looks very handsome in his suit and tie. He looks very debonair and rapey in it.

Bill drops a Pill in the glass
He could have caught her if he used the usual tactics....
I hope Madeline didn't accept any drinks Cosby offered her.
Her biographer wrote that Cosby actually gave her the key to her dressing room & told her it would be waiting for her.
Charlie Rose is a terrible interviewer in my opinion.
her name is pronounced phy-lis-ha NOT Felicia shame on you bill you done work with her for how long smh
I wonder if Madeline ever experienced any "lost time" after having a drink with Cosby?
rackinfrackin she lost her flipyty floop
Cuz she was a white woman..racism at its best
Sexism, misogyny.
