Back in the 90s, Connery said Brosnan was a great Bond. And looking at all of them, the only one who doesn't fit in, is Craig. He's a "Bond" for the new age, more like Bourne. Of course, you're gonna say according to the books, Bond was a stone cold killer, so Craig fits the part. But every Bond actor was potraying that part very well. Remember how Pierce shot Electra King in cold blood? But ever since we saw Connery for the first time, we know a Bond actor should be able to potray more, than just a stone cold killer. Dalton and Brosnan, alongside Connery of course were the perfect incarnation's of Bond. And now don't give me the "Die Another Day" bullshit, that movie sucked yes, but "Quantum of Solace" and "Skyfall" sucked even more.

Connery: Doesn't express much of Bond's character. Lazenby: More of a cassanova. Moore: Shows slight confidence in action scenes. Dalton: Very serious in action scenes. Brosnan: Shows moderate confidence and humour Craig: Doesn't have the look, but confidence is still well portrayed.

What is it with people here calling Daniel Craig ugly? Seriously? The man is NOT ugly. You must have very high standards if you think that is ugly! He is ruggedly handsome. I wish they had dyed his hair dark for the movies, but otherwise I don't think he's a bad Bond, physically speaking. And he certainly did a great job in Casino Royale.

As time goes on what we as an audience expect changes, so does the demand on the story and thus, the character. Connery's Bond was from a generation when storytelling carried the movie more than action. Moore's was in the 70's-80's so beauty and style were more in focus. Brosnan's was the last could focus so much on technology since alot of his gadgets and tech are now commonplace. So Craig's naturally had go back to basics and a good story. I think each Bond brought a little bit to the table.
