Mark, I love to watch ur videos. U take me back to that time in the Amish mill. Thanks for those good memories. I watch u cause I like them. Thanks again.
I enjoy watching you all put out the quality lumber that you do. I've worked for so many companies that worry about quantity and don't care about the quality of the product they are putting out. Thank you so much for bringing us into your lives. It's such a pleasure for me to see the new videos when they come out.
Hi Mark. Beautiful white pine lumber. Atleast. You don't need a " air freshener." Smells great. Even if you don't change the pine. I still enjoy it. Say Hi to Ed & ZZ. 😍😊😉😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌲
I enjoy every single video you post . I like the “ next victim “ . It’s just you being you and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that . BOOM ! Keep the lumber coming .
For so-called "reject timber", you guys sure get a lot of nice pieces to cut up, the stunning results bear witness! 👏🏽 👍🏼☺ Keep up the great work! 👏🏽 👍🏼☺
Mark, T.H.E. Eddie and ZZ to me pine oak or whatever your videos are interesting and fun to watch. We learn something every time you make videos keep up the good work and keep sawing .... oh we need more BOOMS
Five o’clock in the morning you lads are going to be experts in cutting pine when your finished nice timber coming off the mill , todays job working for the council repairing some railings it’s an experience working with people who can make a three hour job last all day I’ve already made the section I need to replace , go to there depo safety talk have mug of tea go to the job have another mug of tea signs and cone out anther mug of tea get the damage section out have dinner new bit in have an other mug of tea paint them packup end of shift , I’ve seen more work in a sick note and more go in an urgent letter like all government jobs I think they get attendance allowance for turning up , anyway you guys have a nice day

I see your Magic 22 Number tribute to the crew's favorite movie, Catch 22 up on the wall, don't tell me it's some sort of size requirement, not buying it. But it is so appropriate, as there is always a 'catch' when I write a comment, and like Foghorn Leghorn's feathers, we have them numbered for any 'caught' emergency.
Hello Marc, I've been watching you for a while now. Just curious how accurate your mill is when you're 2 x 4's or any other stock. What is your tolerance from end to end? The mill here in Colorado that I go to is anywhere between 1/4" to almost 1/2" which I believe is not very accurate at all. Thanks for the vid's
A while back, I mentioned using poor quality logs in order to make wooden pallets for people to use to stack things on them. How is that idea progressing? Is it as useful as I thought it would be?
There is a lever to transfer the engine power to the blade. There is no emergency stop. Pull the lever to remove power from the blade, then the blade spins to a stop
Hey, "pine is fine" 😊...I think you usually cut dimensional 2"x4" lumber (today's example)...do you ever get orders for "boardfoot" framing sizes, such as today's would be 1-1/2"x3-1/2" actual? What's the correct sawyer terminology for the difference like that?
In our trade we would cut 50X100mm for building work, but for planed all round- 45X95mm. I retired 34 Years ago, so I'm out of touch. I decided to teach myself and sell my paintings, and I did so. I still miss the scent of freshly sawn timber, though.
Have you ever thought about putting some kind of mirror behind the sled so you can see if the face is flat to the knees? Might get dusty too quickly to be of any use though.
Mark,
Pine, Oak, Cherry doesn't really matter - always fun watching you-all having a great time sawing lumber 🪚🪵!!
thanks David.
It's so much better when you speak your plan of action while making boards 👍👍
thanks CJ glad you like it.

For all your new viewers you might mention how every bit of what you cut gets used for something, with nothing going to waste.

Always a good time watching you guys saw up the logs. Do you buy logs for the customers to pick or do the customers bring you logs to be sawed up?
Great job guys!

Eddie gunna have to change his name to TPE “the pinewood expert” 😂😂
I like it LOL!
Softwood, hardwood. It all mills the same. I am sure Eddie and ZZ don't mind moving and stacking the softwoods one bit.
very true.
Good video Bus Motor Productions
nice ty guys
thanks Richard.
Pine. Oak or what ever. I just like your videos.
You need 2.5” foundry rollers
*Hello wonderful men*

These 2x4s are pineing to get sawn 😂
I like it!

thanks for watching , I keep everything adjusted so it's with in a 1/16" if the log didn't move while sawing.
A while back, I mentioned using poor quality logs in order to make wooden pallets for people to use to stack things on them. How is that idea progressing? Is it as useful as I thought it would be?
we are making our slab wood boxes.
@@markgalicic7788 In that case, why not make some military - grade foot lockers? Same thing per se. Lol.
That's owesome Mark, Zz looks good so does Eddie, you were talking about getting a new badge ,wat kind?
Yes mark victim is the proper term for sure 😅
I don’t recall ever seeing or hearing, but is there any type of emergency stop on the mill/blade?
There is a lever to transfer the engine power to the blade. There is no emergency stop. Pull the lever to remove power from the blade, then the blade spins to a stop
what is the black line on the blade?
HI Mark Eddie and ZZ, I was wondering how bad the is in all of the pine.
Sap is

thanks , yes I do saw 1-1/2 x 3-1/2 what the customer wants.

How often do you grease the wheels on that carriage?
about once a month .
What good are pine 2x4s?
that's what the customer wanted.
what are those 2x4 going to be used for?
Aren't the last 4 videos numbered wrong? They are 557-560, but should be 567-570.
😛😛😛😛😛😛❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
thanks Charles.
Mark, could you explain on one of your videos what a cant is?
As soon as your log has four 90 degree angles, it's a cant. @ 09:41 for example.
Do you have to buy timber or do your customers bring to you
as far as i have seen most are customers orders, thy bring the timber, thats why its cut in this order
I'm new to the terms you use. What is wane? What is pith?
Wane is the bark that is left on some of the sawn timber. Pith is the timber from the logs centre.
Thanks. I'm learning, I'm slow but I do learn from you. Again, thanks.
💥💥🍻🍔🐿️
Not sure why, but it irks me when you stop part way through a pass.
How about calling the logs "happy volunteers"?
I don't really care what kind of tree you're hacking up, I like them all the same.
@ 13:20 just my opinion whack and stack and edging ( unless monster boards above 2 inches ) are boring to me BUT I am just one subscriber out of ?
Have you ever thought about putting some kind of mirror behind the sled so you can see if the face is flat to the knees? Might get dusty too quickly to be of any use though.
yes I have but not a big deal to me.
just call the Lumber / "Carbon Sequestered" and you will get many viewers as you are the "Carbon Sequestered Guys " LMAO
once you get a million subs you won't be able to answer all
Boom, stack ‘em and whack ‘em. 🪵
