Wow. Him, RBY, and Starocci are amazingly poised in every position. You rarely see them out of position, and if you do, their athleticism will bail them out. Cale knows who to get. Also, Haines is that guy. True freshman wrestling like a vet. He's been on a run.
Brooks and Starocci wrestle together almost everyday. Imagine your sparring partner being a 3X NCAA champion just like you. Brooks and Starocci are the perfect example for Iron sharpens Iron!!💯💪🏾
They also have David Taylor, Kyle dake, bo Nickal and all those other Penn state guys
That's why they're always so good
@@rylanmcclure2070 Kyle dake wrestled at Cornell!!
@Tyler Harris He moved to Penn last Summer
@@rylanmcclure2070 oh, the wrestling club.
this was the finals in my mind because aaron should’ve never been the three seed and trent beat Keckisen that year too so the fact that trent was below him and above brooks was crazy
If I’m Trent in pissed about the way the coaches hate on psu by screwing up the rankings brooks had no business being the 3 seed it most likely cost Trent being a finalist again
Brooks not wrestling enough matches during the regular season as well as losing to Coleman is whymhe was seeded 3rd, not coaches hating on PSU.
Or the fact Aaron has beaten this kid numerous times You’d think he’d change weights AB owns 184 until he graduates I wrestled with him in high school and he’s doing the same thing to college dudes that he was doing in HS
@@Msi_low I’m from Maryland when I was in hs I reffed a youth league tourney and met him when he was a kid he said he would win NCAA titles and go to the Olympics one day the only wrong part he said so far is that he was going to umd lol but Olympics is possible
@@PJP1112 when does common sense play a factor
@Titansfan08 rarely. Seeding committees general stick with a formula and very seldomly stray from them. We all feel Brooks is the best at the weight, but amongst himself, Hidlay, and Keck he did have the lowest ranked loss as well as no wins over each other (this season). At the end of the day it doesnt ever really bother me when the best guy doesnt get the lowest seed. In fsct if he was seeded 33rd in the pigtail, that would hwve been HELPFUL for PSU with the ability to earn another match with bonus points.
Wow dominant victory
This is the year!!!!! GO TRENT
😝c’mon man you don’t believe that.ACC is weak !
lol moot point, but that #3 seed given to Brooks is atrocious.
I mean this in no way to be disrespectful. But damn the Hidlay brothers have been past around by Penn state wrestler to Penn State wrestler. Nolf, Starocci, now Brooks. Like dudeee, damn. I just want to see one win a damn title
This Hidlay has only wrestled Brooks.
@@askeen333 OOPS. The brothers look so goddamn alike to me. Thought he was just bumping up each time 😭. Let me go rephrase my sentence then.
Aaron Brooks is a strong young man! Loves Jesus- is courageous!
Doesn’t matter what you’re seeded if you can’t win! Brooks is a finely tuned and trained machine. His spiritual beliefs and character also honor the Lord he believes in.
This match was no where near as close as the score indicates.
Brooks seeded at 3 makes me laugh 2x champ 😂😂
Hidlay needs to change it up next time they wrestle if they ever wrestle again
After the first 5 seconds, when Hidlay was trying to roughhouse, he realized how strong Brooks was, and probably said DANG!!
AARON is strong but I feel TRENT is much stronger this year and should give AARON a run for the Title.
@@user-yv5ke9kh1m Logically speaking, if in this match Brooks seemed much stronger, then Hidlay has to be stronger this year to even compete. If Hidlay is, in fact, stronger, that still doesn't mean he will win.
Can someone explain to me how Brooks is a #3 seed?…..
