I laugh every time you say the Bucky thing because he's the ONLY character that I still care about in the MCU lmao
SAME!
I think social media is actually one of the best things ever created, but the way many people and corporations use it has made it much more toxic. It’s entirely possible to get a wholly positive experience from social media if you set the right boundaries, but it’s incredibly difficult now because of how the companies try to take advantage of the users
I disagree with the OP about the learning about taxes in schools. While you can make the argument that some students wouldn't pay attention, that could be said for any class. Many would be attentive because there is the literal evidence of watching their own parents/guardians having to do/talking about taxes, that it is something needed in adult life. That's where "when am i going to use this" arguments stems from, like hell I'm not using calculus at all these days. On top of that, something like lesson of taxes would probably be worked into a modern 'home economics' course which would be an elective, which like PJ brought up is a class you choose to take.
on top of that, if not moreso, you don't need to pay attention to something to benefit from learning about it. there's certainly subjects I was pretty absent-minded in, but if the knowledge is ever relevant, I'm more likely to recall or grasp it when looking it up than if this was my first time encountering them. plus, many subjects we have already are not all that attention grabbing (geography, for example, that was a nightmare). tho, in addition, I feel it really comes down to the teachers. with an interesting lesson plan you could probably run a course on taxation more engaging than Arts.
Unpopular oppinion: I just hate action films.
Most of them usually dont have a reall story goin on, the physics of them NEVER make any sence and they are just mostly "wow look at those cool explosions!" "wow the main charecter is so cool and strong!" which might be enjoyable for some yet deffinetly isnt for me 🤷
oh, I like Action as a genre EXCLUSIVELY because of the impossible physics and the story being mainly driven by the prompt of "How can we create the most assinine, high stakes scenario imaginable?" To me, the genre's the height of trash TV (read, here: TV focused less on being good and more on catching eyes) and I love it for it, though I do find its performative gender roles can often dampen the excitement at the absurdity.
As an animator/comic artist that loves drawing action sequences, I actually completely agree with this. I love a good action scene but it needs to have the story to back it up! If there isn't a story then I don't care about the stakes of the fight! It's why Avatar: The Last Airbender is amazing! There is story along with the incredible visuals of the fights so the fight scenes mean something! If there is no meaningful story to the fight, then I have trouble paying attention because I'm not inclined to care. I'm usually just confused. Lookin at you Transformers plotline lol.
Oh god, the sand in the bed just unlocked a memory of some girl (on tiktok I believe?) who turned her bedroom into a "beach", by dumping bags and bags of sand all over her floor... That person would love her
the mere thought of this makes my skin crawl, ya we have free will but at what cost
the animal crossing sound effect while plonking back into your chair. 10/10
i can’t believe you’d diss cucumbers like that, it’s so disrespectful to the cucumber-leg-having chefs out there
I get so happy when I see a notification that a PJ video released
PJ, I am a sweet potato hater, I have simply never really liked them. They really just don't taste good to me, I've tried them tons of different ways but I just hate the taste. Watching your videos has made me really wish I liked them, but I, unfortunately, cannot change my tastebuds. I do not know why I'm confessing this to you in the comments, I suppose I feel like I need you to pardon me, considering you're the father of sweet potatoes. I hope you will forgive me.
I would NEVER do the pizza thing, but I do see how theoretically it could work, oil repels water and pizza is so greasy that if you're fast enough it probably wouldn't retain any of that moisture
Okay, true, but an ex of mine used to just take a paper towel and dab the oil off the pizza. You don't need to use water for that. You get soggy pizza.
As the great fresh cut grass once said " opinions are like opera you could listen to them but why would you"
this comment is perfect. smiley day to you!
@@alexandrabraun5029well thank you smiley day to you!
But I like opera :(
@@melinakunzli6865 and some people like opinions :) or at least some people like some opinions
actually, most people like some opinions. does that mean most people like some operas, too, or just the ones that sound like they could've written them themselves?
i can't believe how deranged some of these were
Okay so I have to confess that was I was a teen - A TEEN though, not now - I also used to suck teabags after drinking the tea. I love bitter and sour tastes, so not only would I drink my tea all black with no sugar, but I would drink it with the bag still in the mug, and then suck the remaining water out of the teabag when done... and chew it a little. It was nice because it gave me a bonus extra strong blast of tea taste at the end, almost like the tea equivalent of eating the extra strong condensed cheese dust at the bottom of a packet of Doritos. I'm fully aware that this will never sound okay to most people, and I accept that... but there it is. 😂
Also as the famous saying goes: "Opinions are like penises. It's fine to have one, but don't wave it around in public." 😁
I read pennies at first and wondered why it's considered not reasonable to wave a Penny in public. I was thinking: "Does waving a penny around have some kind of secret offensive meaning I never knew about?!"
@@daniellamalcolm7328 I mean if you're flexing your paycheck, maybe! XD
I would still suck my tea bags, occasionally, and I'm not ashamed of it. Not in public, of course, but in the privacy of my home? You bet!
@@glitch84- Hell yeah, my hardcore tea brethren! 😁
The sweet potat godfather we didn’t know we needed.
so much of this reads like "i dont know i have a fetish"
aH YEA CUCUMBER HATRED!! i always feel welcome on the kickthepj channel :)
pj going into their villain arc over their sweet potato wealth
oof, already mad about the cucumbers.
Hmmmm...I think I like, bagged juices actually- yeah, I'll buy a bagged juice later!
What u said about cucumbers 😤
4:47 *removes my skin to have water and clothes at the same time*
Do you not do laundry my love?
also question about your new found love of shorts - what do you wear in the winter?
Found the poop story very compelling. Will be taking poop prisoners from now on 🙌🏻p o w e r🙌🏻
😂😭
Agree with the Bucky opinion, never really cared for him but I can see why others can. The pizza thing though.. W h y
Unpopular opinion : marshmallows taste better when you don't roast them
5:47 It is interesting that they shared this... on social media. Like, not trying to pull a "you hypocrite, how dare you use a tool that's hard to avoid using nowadays to throw a critical lense at the thing itself, if you'd actually hate it you wouldn't be using it at all", but specifically going on Reddit to share the opinion that all social medias have, quote on quote, become bad (really, a lot of the issues mentioned, as well as many more, have been a part of the internet for a while now, those specific platforms and their popularity have just really magnified that, imo), on a platform for unpopular opinions, actively reaching out to connect with people and spread the message in question. What I mean is, this person's post is utilizing the advantages of social media while declaring that all social media is bad, actually.
2:00 thing is, even WITHOUT paying attention, you absorb knowledge (to a degree) when actively bombarded with it, and having to engage with it because of social necessities like tests. For an example, I absolutely hated mathematics, and would do my darndest to pass through the classes without having to think about the numerical nonsense the teacher was carving out off the black board. And still, there are a number of elements of those classes, from the need for a right angle when cutting a pizza into four slices, to me knowing how you add up fractions which has been oddly handy. I don't have those things at the forefront of my mind but they're still THERE when I engage with them, and if I actually start using them regularly in my personal life the information is much more easily recovered than if I knew nothing of maths. And I'd say learning about tax systems or registering a credit card would be the same. Many students may not pay attention, but having had those lessons will still be better when you encounter that situation than not having these studies at all.
I feel like if taxes were taught in school, even if people didn't remember the details of it later, they would at least remember the general concept, so that when they come across it later its at least familiar, and they remember that it's important. Other topics I think should be taught (at least the general concept) are loans, debit vs credit, insurance, etc.
4:10 that's how I survive summer in brazil actually
I once let out the fact I don't like sweet potatoes (also called kumara where I'm from) in your twitch chat and almost got kicked out. people were not happy.
This is awesome - love this format of video haha!
this made me laugh so much, great video 😂
This video is funny and good but the only thing missing is you trying out the wet pizza. HAHA
Is the 'I hate Everything' background music a coincidence?
If not, well played sir!
If so, holy shit! I guess it suits the theme lol
I disagree with the soggy potato one: ALL potatoes are good, sweet, non-sweet, salty, soggy, too oily, too dry, overfried. It's pretty hard to ruin potatos
I couldn't stop thinking throughout the whole video how gross soggy water pizza will be.
I also don't trust people who blanket don't like cats.
Someone pointed out once that it's sometimes people who don't like other people having boundaries, which I can kind of see.
Putting water onto pizza is just offensive. Why would you ruin pizza like this? What if you accidentally wash away some of your pizza toppings down the drain? It's not worth the risk.
Never trust anyone that dislikes cats… something is always up
Running pizza under the tap is grounds for divorce
i’m sorry what. RUNNING PIZZA UNDER WATER ???? vile
1:06 overleveled with mimic tear
why would you even want your pizza cold? that is cursed
With the water skin and clothes diagram you should put bathing suits in the middle because I think that counts as all three at the same time just not as uncomfortable as your regular clothes but maybe that’s an unpopular opinion 😝😂
I'd say it does count in the venn diagram as phrased, but not as intended, since the CLOTHES section was specifically about the kinda clothes the person was describing putting on post-shower. On top of that, it would break the pattern of the diagram; feels bathing suit isn't much of a sentence 😜 On top of that, I am now wondering whether putting on a bathing suit after a shower would be acceptable... I guess there's no reason it wouldn't be, since the skin it will cover drying under the piece will just get soaked up by it? Probably wouldn't recommend it unless it's a hot day, though, or else wearing a wet one piece might suck :/
That persons husband with the pizza… sir, I just want to talk for a second.
loved the video however..... I STORNGLY DISAGREE ABOUT SAND IN BED OR SHOES JUST SAND IN GENERAL IS A NO. NO.
For the record, I love sweet potato fries. They're the frickin' best! Never said a bad word about them, please let me into your sweet potato lair when the apocalypse inevitably comes for us.
I’ve got cucumbers for legs
The post about the stinky poop sounds 100% like something Arin Hanson would say, you can't tell me he didn't write that post 😂
I don’t really like sweet potato fries but I love sweet potato casserole with cinnamon and marshmallows on top. One of my favorites besides pizza.
Thank you for standing up for the poor sweet potato fry 🍠
ooo it's spicy time with PJ
I never comment on yt but your videos always light up my days 🌞
Let the records show! I don’t like sweet potato fries.
My college actually teaches taxes... kinda ?
British college
We have this optional maths class that takes 2 extra hours of our week and part of the curriculum is taxes and NI and other things along those lines
And we all give a shit because a) it’s helpful and b) we’re having an exam on it
I think optional classes about taxes etc is the better way to do things
Pj turns into a mafia boss when he’s heated also he converted me (kinda) to sweet patats fries (no other sweet patats tho im sorry peej)
What is the name of that funky goodness at the end? please I need it
I love pineapple on pizza. In NZ (usually for children) we will put canned spaghetti on pizza and then pineapple. I love it so much. The next day when it was all coagulated, even better.
I want the toilet roll with the end of the roll on the underside because cheap rolls have less unwanted breakage.
To be able to vent unpopular opinions ... Great. I do not like eating my dessert after the meal, too. I'd rather go without one. But I know why. However well I am fed, after eating sugary things I become hungry again and I have to eat, at least something small. A dry piece of toast, a small salad, .... I do not consider sweets snacks because of it, too.
tomatoes are disgusting, change my mind
Ok but I am very much on the edge with cats. They are either cute and make little meow noises or they're planning to murder you. One of the reasons why I'm glad I've never owned one
My potential unpopular opinion is that instant coffee tastes nice cold
OK the cucumber and the bucky opinions were a little too controversial for me at this time, but I'll be BACK BABY
Here from the stream!!!
I like sweet potatoes.... just not the orange ones. I do like white sweet potatoes.
I agree with the sweet potato one, I really try to like them but I just can't
I don’t care about Bucky, but I wish I did. I wanted to jump on the CA and Bucky ship, but it just didn’t hit me the same way it had others.
My dose of serotonin
Now do more of this
I defiantly dont trust people that dont like cats
A lot of these opinions set off my anxiety and my sensory issues lool
SAND? no Wet clothes? Ew No.. WET PIZZA?! *gag* no thank you! 😂
PJ is taking potaty prisoners
Straight from the stream! I also don't trust people who don't like cats
I never really cared about Bucky either but a few weeks ago I accidentally fell into Stucky fanfic and now I'm obsessed 😅
"He's not all that as a person... but he's GREAT as a boyfriend!"
Ohh, the teabag, NO! So bitter!
finally someone said it about cucumbers
Justice for cucumbers!!!!
Literally the best veggie out there!
Yaayyyy a chatty PJ video, I love those! Makes me think of slurp... Dessert before dinner... No thanks :p
I also like shorts at home no matter the time of year it’s very comfortable and free for your legs.
Sweet potatoes blow.
Ive never had a sweet potato that tasted good Im sorry
So are you saying I'm not allowed to play video games in a way that is not fun for me?
not an unpopular opinion but just a weird thing about me, i love oranges with a passion but cannot stand orange juice
Do they not taste the same? Do you mean pure orange juice or do you live in America where they add loads of sugar and chemicals? Either way, you do you my dude
This video might be slightly too spicy 😳
melted cheese is nasty 👍
Facts no printer.
clothes, water, skin: swimsuits
I like pineapple on pizza, I think we should put more sweet things on pizza. I think the greatest strength of genres is their potential for experimentation beyond their boundaries. for example, I like super hero stories best when they aren't about heroes fighting crime, action stories when they take serious time for and pay close attention to more quiet and intimate moments without exaggerating them, and horror... well, actually, I like horror just the way it is, all the cheesy stories that are barely spooky anymore but instead acknowledge the ever-present reproduction of antiquated tropes. it's honestly what makes good horror, in my opinion. Science is overrated. It's important and has accomplished a lot for us, and I appreciate scientists, but scientific logic doesn't need to be applied to things that, aren't science, like movies, philosophy, interpersonal interactions, magic, or politics, to name a few. There's nothing wrong with using a scientific framework where applicable, but it becomes annoying when it is simply assumed that it must be applicable *COZ it's SCIENCE*. Worst of all if the justification is a want to be objective. Science isn't objectivity embodied, and it doesn't have to be. Though even if it were, objectivity doesn't always help.
I like having tomato sauce on my chicken sausages. Not normal chicken, just sausages. My family finds it disgusting.
I ALSO HATE CUCUMBERS i think we are besties now
I feel like the person who painted sweet potato fries being overhyped as an unpopular opinion is coming from the same place as people who think that vegans are everywhere. What they're describing as common actually isn't, but it's rising in regularity, it's becoming more normal, but because it started out as an oddity, encountering it at all seems like a stand out occurence, and when you do it's gonna be accompanied with people who are absolutely behind it, because people who dislike something unusual don't feel a need to speak out against it until it has become natural enough to be understood as an actual part of society. Veganism is pretty much there, and so is the complaining about any vegan alternatives existing, and sweet potato dishes are in that sweet spot (or should it be 'sweet eye'?) where they can't be ignored anymore but aren't yet mainstream enough for people to assume their presence is replacing that of regular potato fries (which they won't, cause media loves assimilating multitudes, but people can't see more than one colour at once). Now this, this might be closer to an unpopular opinion, not sure if it's quite cooked right either tho.
I've had sweet potatoes many ways but I hate the fries no matter how good they're cooked
I agree cucumbers are the worst
What's the track at the end of the video?
I eat chicken nuggets dipped in vanilla ice cream
that's it
PJ CAPPIN ABOUT MALENIA
I like putting socks on before my underwear, when I get dressed in the morning.
The hardest video game level, atleast for me, is the Big Parade level from a Hat in time (Found on the movie planet) Honestly screw the big penguin and his owl band. and the fact you can get stuck in a death loop under a balcony if those owls hit you at a building. ALSO WERE THE HONNING MISSLES THAT NESSISARY?
also 3:52, The menus look really great with pictures if the picture is well taken, like wetherspoons, and also if you place them nicely, so it's just making sure you have a good design sense/hire someone who does.
I honestly love sweet potatoes but I really don’t like them as fries. Sorry brother I have to disagree.
I also hate cucumbers! The mere scent of them turns my stomach. Love pickles tho! Kudos on that venn diagram. I clapped for it. Lol
SUCKING THE TEABAG AFTER DRINKING TEA IS GOD TEIR
I never cared about Bucky either
I also dislike Cap
