In fact, I actually just finished building a small table for my entry foyer using an old cigar table I found at a thrift store and a wooden tray. I would have never even attempted anything like that until I discovered your channel!

Love this look! You did an amazing job! Better than I could do all by myself. That’s why I have a hubby who can cut wood. We will do this similar look in our guest bedroom, since our master bedroom is finished except for a bit of baseboard trim around the fireplace and the flooring in one spot needs repaired. We will do this wall you created for this guest room, but will not need to trim out our windows. We are doing it on a wall without windows. Great job Karrie Lynn!

Thank you for being so honest about how the project wasn't working out at first. My house is a little wonky too like uneven ceilings and judging how our light switches lean I'm going to say the windows aren't centered either. Your room was beautiful beautiful but that after 😍 was amazing.

Karrie, I ❤️ the peppercorn! It is my go to color. I am obsessed for sure. I used this color as an accent wall in both my sons room & my husbands man cave in our basement. And, the siding on the outside of our house is this color. I’m considering using it on our kitchen island. I think because it is a dark charcoal with navy undertones it can be used with many styles & color accents. Your room is beautiful, loving the board and batten wall.

Karrie, I just heard about a technique to get pristine sharp edges on your paint. After you put up your tape, run a bead of clear caulk down the edge then wipe it off. Let it dry then paint and when you remove that tape.....Lord have mercy its perfect!

According to funsui headboard should be placed against a solid wall and not covering a window otherwise it brings bad luck. Just an observation 😇 I do have to congratulate you for the hard work and inspiration you invested into the project. I could not have done it any better. Hurray👏👏👏

Thank you so much! My bedroom is very similar in size. I was debating to use very cool textured wallpaper but the wood pieces really made this room pop! I have very old vertical blinds that I need to just get rid of because they are vinyl and collect so much dust. My hubby has asthma so really trying to relieve his symptoms. Thank you again for showing me such a beautiful creative wall. I love grey colors. Might go a lighter shade but love the boldness of the color.
LOVE. You did a great job. I recently painted a dresser a similar color, and every time I walk by it, I have the urge to paint more things the dark green .
Love it!! I wish I could meet you, you remind me of myself when I was younger and raising my 4 babies which are all grown now 😬. Time really does fly by. My best advice, enjoy washing every dish, doing constant loads of laundry, dealing with kids fighting, etc it won’t last forever sweetie I promise. 🙂

Wow looks really really good! I think pops of color on the bed either with pillows, throw, or bedding would've really looked gorgeous and brought out the accent wall.

Love the peppercorn color. Used this color for my front door and my old house. Great jobs looks good.

Yes!!!! Hello, Joanna Gaines! I wish this was my room 😭 Using sheets is the Southern way! My grandma had the cutest curtains up at her old house, and I didn't even notice! If someone wanted to thread a pole through, cutting open the sides works perfectly.

I actually decided to put fireplace in storage. Unfortunately our home is just too small and im trying to be more intentional with my furniture peices to give us more room . 😩 sad to see it go .
