- Thinking about ordering a petticoat online and worried it just won't have enough poof? Don't have time to make a petticoat completely from scratch?
Here’s the tutorial just for you - just grab about three pre-made cheap petticoats from online sellers!
This process as I demonstrate in this video takes me about 4 hours from start to finish... much less than the 10-19 hours I would spend on making a petticoat from scratch. And the end product is wonderful!
This is perfect for an advanced beginner - intermediate sewer.

It's awesome that you share some of these half homade things. It goes to show that not everything have to be made from scratch. It also makes it a smaller barrier to start. And it might even save you some money if you can get the ready made cheap. If you were to get the tulle it could potentially be alot more exspensive.

Hehehe fair enough. I think these are the standard length for the organza petticoats, however- I think the original style is meant to be worn lower and the poof starts at the lower hip rather than just under the waist as what I demonstrate.

I bought mine from aliexpress- but the shipping is super slow at the moment. So eBay and Amazon are other options
