Aww they turned out really cute. I'll bear in mind how to do spots and stripes if I ever do fur effects again. I've felted two fantasy creatures with fur, a dragon and a wolf. Both took a long time to make (3 months for the dragon) but are probably my most proudest makes. I use a small eyebrow comb to brush the fur and a fine bristled eyebrow comb for cleaning and dusting.

Thank you for this, glad you like the monsters, I like the sound of your fantasy creatures, gosh 3 months! They sound amazing! Larger projects can take a lot of time can't they! I've been meaning to try an eyebrow comb, thanks for reminding me of this, thanks for watching

Great videos! Love the new monsters and I’m a fan of the tuxedo cat 😉 I too use the needle to “comb” the fur as well…too lazy to get an actual comb so I’m glad to know it doesn’t work as well 😂

All these cute monsters! Thank you for all the tips. I just got a basic kit to felt and I will certainly use it to practice fur monsters. I’ve just started my practice with a tiny pumpkin, mixing colors and getting to know the needles… and of course trying not to stab myself. I believe that as you get more practice, you Can felt faster right? It’s taking me long now as a beginner… like 10 hours for a tiny pumpkin, 😂.

Aw thanks for this, glad you liked the monsters, sounds like you're having fun practising, yes you will get faster but it could also be the combinations of the wool and needle you're using, you could watch my video in when to stop stabbing for more on this: ua-cam.com/video/oR-RlKflN4w/v-deo.html Hope it helps and thanks for watching

I love how you put life and character into your little creatures!
Your videos always bring a smile to my face .
Just wondering whether the eyes on the ginger monster happen to be Blythe's?
There are various-coloured eyes on Blythe dolls and your monster's reminded me of them.
Could use them for a Cheshire Cat wool felt doll! 😸👁👁🌙

Aw thanks for this, glad you like my little creatures 😊 no I've not heard of Blythe's dolls eyes until now 😊 I bought them from 'the works', a stationary/books/arts & crafts shop here in the UK, in case you're not from the UK 😊 they were in a packet of lots of different colours, I don't think they're regular stock but probably seasonal for Halloween. Hope this helps, thanks for watching, here's a link to them online in case you are in the UK: www.theworks.co.uk/p/craft-embellishments/halloween-eyeball-embellishments-pack-of-12/5052089339156.html

@@juliesfeltedfriends Hello Julie! thanks a bunch for the info & the link to the online shop!
I love these kinds of shops, I get inspired simply by browsing. Yes, I don't live in the UK unfortunately--I live in Japan (originally from Hawaii). I would love to explore the arts & crafts shops there in the UK one day!
Whenever I visit a country, there are two places I make sure I go to: art/craft/stationery shops, and the local supermarkets😆
Looking forward to your videos always, thank you again!

I imagine they have lots of needle felting stuff there?, you're very welcome, I too love to look around those types of shops when I travel, so glad you like the videos, it really does mean a lot when someone takes the time to comment, thanks you, hope you find some suitable eyes 👀☺️

Oic, that sounds great, to move the furry characters I used my needle felting needle rather than handling the fur, so that I didn't get any rippling or bubbling or the fur, it worked quite well, hope this helps 😊 good luck with your animation.
