You are damn right. When I played the game for god of the ultra violence ending, I killed all the bosses, collected all the necessary souls, except for one. This crow just didn't show up for me. Wherever I was, no matter how long I waited, he did not appear. Apparently I caught some kind of bug. If not for the empty scroll, then my entire run would have been in vain. Inference: Crow Mauler is the most dangerous enemy in Fear&Hunger, because he poses a danger to your passage even by his absence.

Some fun you can do with the bugs are like here, on the wall he went to, there was a dev tile, meaning if you go there and press Z, something that the dev used to help playtesting exists there. In that case, it was to add Darce to the party. There's multiple of these and the Dev just forgot to remove them

En garde does not increase your running speed. However, when you have Dash it does! According to my tests, these are the tiles per second: No Dash - - - - - - - - - - > 3.5 tps Dash - - - - - - - - - - - - - > 6 tps Dash + En Garde - - - > 7 tps

It gives you the Knight and the Outlander unless you have one of them individually. It's a tile that does something unintended for release, a debug tile. Miro uses it to playtest things in the game, and just forgot to remove it.
It's a debug tile! If you stand there, and then interact, you'll trigger it. What debug tiles do depends on the tile itself but this one gives you D'arce (and Ragnvaldr if you aren't him or don't already have him)
They're both debug tiles! You stand on them, press interact/enter and then they'll do special things. These were left in by the developer to make fixing bugs and testing things easier. Frapollo94 has a good video about bugs and stuff, you should watch it! :)

I also think these are really cheap, some people suggest them to newer players, ruining a lot of their experience with the game. Best thing to do is to only tell people what they ask to know about, that way debug tiles wont even cross their mind.

if you stand and interact with the wall at the left side of the main gate - specifically the tile I stood on - then you'll trigger a debug event left in by the developer through which you obtain D'arce (and also Ragnvaldr if he isn't already in your party)
The initial goal is to save Le'garde. But Le'garde eludes to a deeper secret in the dungeons. And when you go deeper into the darkness, that is when the other 9 goals reveal themselves to you.

the writing system the game uses is downright abhorrent. i have no idea what plugin was used to implement keyboard functionality on the name input screen but it's a mess for Funger specifically lol. No amount of slow and smooth typing can save you from a botched input handling system. For example the Z key is a confirm key, but that functionality remains when you are in the name input screen, hence why so many of the verses somehow end with a Z on them. You can't type with 'Z', 'X', or Spacebar in that screen as they are input buttons by default. It is hilariously frustrating. In a normal playthrough where speed is hardly relevant, you can just type with mouse or use the arrow keys to navigate but a speedrun forces you to type with this horribly janky input system or else you won't get any semblance of a good time.
When interacting with the debug tile in the Temple of Torment, it changes your main party member in the code to the Marriage, which doesn't have the Dash skill. Ragnvaldr did have it though, but he's no longer the main party member in the code though. You'd know this if you tried it for yourself instead of acting like a smart ass.

How did you get the cursed short swords so fast
At the start of the run, I stand still on a tile for a little while. Interacting as you stand there gives you a cursed short sword.
