I like this so much better than the loop method, I had one of those half done when I saw your video, I pulled it all out and started over. My yarn is chenille and very fuzzy, I like yours better. Thank you for making the video and instructions.

I'm lucky that I found it as soon as I did because I am making 2 blankets for my grandson who will be born in March from my daughter and then my Daughter-in-law will be giving birth to my 2nd grandson in May. I had absolutely no experience with crocheting but then I so that my niece was crocheting and she learned totally off watching videos on here so I decided that's what I was going to do because I wanted a new hobby. I do not have anything except one skien of yarn to make a very small blanket. I am waiting for my 4 skiens to come in the mail for a bigger blanket. I have watched dozens of videos and I find that I like this one the best! I will follow this to make the big blanket. I saw that you have how to crochet a beanie I was wondering is there any way to make one without using the crochet hook? Thank you and sorry this is so long!

when working with the velvet yarn. how to prevent it from getting tangled. ??? it gets tangled even before 1st stitch. its hard to manage. any tips would be greatly appreciated
