Been picking up Tekken for pretty much the first time in the last month or so. Trying to main Jin so I love seeing sets with good Jin players to get tips from. I'm finding the hardest thing is getting to people quick enough after knocking them down to continue the combo. I pretty much always drop it after the first chain but I guess it just comes with time. Love the vids anyway and I'm super hyped for Tekken 8.
Jin players are the worst. Every combo is optimized, they know every angle, they know how to fight from P1 and P2.. Disgusting.. Can we normalize going blind and not knowing anything about your character? Thanks.
@@MrFurmos salty, but i do get what u mean kinda, alot of jin players are super try hards but that just means u need to play better and not be salty about someone putting in effort
Longer the combo, the more the opponent is pushed further away. So you have to use every single split second to reach the opponent. I'm sounding like it's too difficult but it's not. You'll easily be able to do the bread and butter combos. I recommend warming up before having a match with someone. P.s if you want better okizeme, keep the combo short.
Im on Raijin and still has bad execution and combo but compared to last month (10th Dan) i've been improved i can do Wave dash barely and can do some electrics (usually wind hook fist) Raijin Jins are so bad btw
Do any other Jin mains take a while to adapt to their opponent online? Yesterday I got into with this Leroy player because he beat me the first couple matches and thought he was the real deal but I ended up ranking up off of him.
Mostly a lot of people online rely on gimmicks to win, once they've exaughsted their list of cheese, gimmicks, and tricks, they find it much harder to play honest and thus their lack of fundamentals begins to show.
Im trying to adapt the first round see what kinda player the other side is.. Usually these peoples playing in a stupid flowcharts that they think if they just stick to that they will win. Guess what no... Fun part where this kinda player that play like a turtle and just wait, when u dont go in they just don't know what to do lmao...
I play all the Mishimas obs jin aswell and I don't get any thumb pain at all not just jin thou I play characters with execution and I can still manage to play without thumb pain just sayin
Daaaam this music makes me back in this magical times when tekken was real tekken not for noobs with adding lot of garbage chars, special arts bullshit taken from street fighter, poor movement, escape throw window slowed down for noobs etc but for hardcore players.
Lmao I’m trying to get somewhat good at tekken 7 so I can play tekken 8 at a decent level when it comes out but Jesus I’m SO BAND AND ITS SO HARD lmao I play with my friend and I lose to him all the time and he literally just lashes buttons, he doesn’t try to back dash or anything he just keeps swinging until I walk into the hit and does the super basic combo he learned 5 minutes prior to the match😂 it pissed me off cuz I know he’s feeling himself but he’s literally playing noctis and Leroy. I wanna get good at this game so bad it looks so cool when good people play it but I’m so ass lmao (I’m new to the game) but I didn’t expect how hard it would be to get the inputs down especially with speed
Stick with it, but if you are new in general it will take hundred of hours. Dont let it discourage you, if you enjoy it. Enjoy the journey :) You will improve and grow as a player.
Game is extremely hard if you're new to FGs and want to actually learn instead of mashing/flowcharting like a bot. Hundreds of hours is not an understatement. Research and practice, you'll get there with determination.
Steve is pretty damn tough you'll need to invest a lot of time jst to learn and master his basics properly but once u get used to him he is a very cool character imo
After 2d there is not a specific answer. Paul and Marduck has good damage from non combos. Feng has both when shoulder hits. Katrina lilli. raven. hwoarang heihachi and many other has combo damage
That Jin’s been speed running in ranked 😂
fun though goin fast and yolo
7:10 what was that tho
This is what we refer to in the community as
“Some good ass tekken.”
Most definitely
i can hear the voice.

This set was so entertaining to watch, great gameplay and video 👍
15:18 WOW !😵
this guy might have one of the best neutral games i've ever seen, he's so patient and has incredible reactions to block
That Tekken 4 Steve fit tho 🔥
TMM'S gameplay of Steve was flawless. Very fun match to watch.
i aspire to be a good jin player
You’ll get there bro I promise

Yeah, that man is going to come crashing down😂
This Jin player does not use many Techniques of him like the parry and back 2,1.... etc he has just a good defense.
Good game
I believe its not his main
I just watched an one hour set even tho I don't play Tekken anymore.
Damn that was fun.
Lol same. Might get back into it for tk8 tho
Tekken has that magic. It is really enjoyable to watch some good ass tekken.
People say this exact thing about a game but then still ended up playing it anyways thou after a couple of days lol

@@09Drdray yup and since jin doesn't have much cheese, it's hard to win at first.
It takes me a bit to adapt as well. I need a longer set to figure my opponents out lol

otc's gotta throw out a lot more d4's. Jin is all about his down 4
0:24 jin is an edgelord with any customization
only if he had the optimal combos, tmm would be pretty good steve player tbh
TMM HAVE TO SHOW HIS PLAYLIST.

That was a super fun watch
Where I can get this costume that you are using for Steve? I can’t find anywhere this shirt
Damn that jin player would not stop ducking lmao
Does mainman play on pc, xbox or ps
Man, playing Jin on pad always hurts my thumb so much. Why do i keep playing him.
I play all the Mishimas obs jin aswell and I don't get any thumb pain at all not just jin thou I play characters with execution and I can still manage to play without thumb pain just sayin
You're probably trying to wave dash too much

Damn TMM has a awesome Steve.
In this day Steve's a s was clean, Amen.
15:19 daaam
What was the japanese song playing at the beginning parts of thw set
With how bad his combos are, it really speaks volumes about his neutral.
i dont play pvp , is that normal to match with only one person like back to back ?
Sometimes you get lucky, but for Tekken 7 after you win or lose a match you can rematch as much as you like.
Yes, at those ranks there are pretty few people anyways.
Great vid god steve is so cool
what day this vid from?
270 wins at Tekken king promo is wild 😭😭😭

people that mash buttons are chaotic, so just try to be more patient and see if that helps.
