Introduction of slowmos, rage drives and flashy visual presentation saved the franchise. This is also the most balanced tekken so far. You can find full session lobbies so late into the game's lifecycle. This is my favourite entry after 3 and 5.

Regardless, the principal reason why T7 is not beloved of me is to do with the nerfed movement, over-the-top hitboxes and overall tilt towards CQC. If I wanted to play a fighting game skewed towards range 0 to 1 brawling, I'd play VF5:FS or Guilty Gear!

People always have this association of: Nobody plays him Dont see him winning in tournaments = cant be that good Hes underused and underrepresented, but hes strong. He has some of the best counter hits in the game, including a 30 damage ch safe on block, a lot of his strings leave you in massive stun making him + on block, he has lots of quality lows, he has nutty combo damage lowkey, its surprisingly high even without a wall, and unlike other characters that shit isnt locked behind insane execution. A mishima/jin combo just for example is already way more technical just to achieve the same thing more often than not. Miguel is STRONG.
I have an honest question guys. I am confused why Ki charging is considered BM in Tekken, for example teabagging is considered offensive bcz they are literally putting their nuts in your mouth. Why is Ki charge considered to be bm?
Tekken culture brew, just hitting the opponent after knocking them down is sometimes considered rude as well. Since players have a limited way to communicate to other players in tekken, it’s used as a way to say something like “I am better than you” or “lmao that was really lucky” depending on the results of the match.
All the Mishima's are too strong and need nerfs. I really don't care what anyone says, they are the main characters in the game and for that reason, they are super strong.
I love Tmm but watching him try to hopkick with heihachi is the most goofy looking thing and just makes him look like he has no idea what he's doing with the character.
as he has basically mastered heihachi it really doesnt hurt to see someone trying out unpredictability. the "goofyness" you mention here can make it an unexpected launch as heihachi players rarely use it. This a goofy comment.

Quite the opposite. If someone can win a tourney WITHOUT KBD, that is some God level fundamentals. Imagine having to take all mixups head-on and not being able to escape, AND YOU STILL MANAGE TO WIN. What I do agree on though, is that movement needs to be buffed, so that kbd becomes a stronger tool.
