Here in England, we gave Mistletoe Iscador injection for our dog who had melanomas. The vet said she wouldn't live long. It was a not a good idea to give it. Well she lived to be 17 years and 2 months! Oh she had been fed on a raw diet all her life

Please comment on your thoughts on TCC causes & treatments. Transitional cell carcinoma. I had to euthanize my rescue dog . I’d like to be more informed & proactive with my future rescue dogs. Thank you 🙏

So informative! What are the best food sources for Vitamin D in dogs?
Also how do we get our dogs tested for Vitamin D levels?

Vitamin D3 needs magnesium and K2 to convert to the usable form. It also doesn't show up well on blood tests because the blood is such a small percentage of where the D needs to be. It may not show a deficiency when one still exists. It also runs down quickly in cases of chronic inflammation.
