This movie had thought provoking dialogue/conversations, based on real science. Like that lunch scene with all the major characters discussing the implications of genetic engineering and its impact on our civilisation...I wonder if Jurassic World will have any scenes like that - or if it will be a typical big budget monster movie CGI-fest...I wonder...

Turned out to be a CGI nightmare...only one animatronic was made in this movie and it wasn't even a full body, just the head. LOL

+superluigifan96 ...and that's not the real problem of the movie, imho. The main problem is that it's full-packed of plot holes and silly situations. Yes, I accept the T-rex throwing the jeep down the ravine few meters away from the point of the rex's escape, but I sincerely do not accept a bunch of "experts" who enter the fence of the deadliest monster ever created by humans because they think the monster has gone (no evidence, the final confirmation of the escape was on its way from the Contro Room, till that moment everybody should have stayed there, without moving a muscle! And, anyway, was that so difficult to track the iRex from the Control Room without having Claire going away from the paddock? I suppose that was the only way they could send in the bunch of "experts" inside the paddock). Thanks God they had the best technicians and experts in the world for the security of the park. The pivotal scene of JW is so silly I still can't understand why people don't complain about its non-sense. Again, also JP has its own flaws but you find a huge lot of wonderful things in it, you do not consider the flaws. And, to finish, JP tried to create scary dinosaurs, not monsters. JW has at its center a monster. Yes, I know, Wu combined dinosaur DNA and (mainly) frog DNA to create the animals in the first park but Jurassic Park was a park of dinosaurs that were supposed to be real cloned dinosaurs, without any twisted-and-philosophical concept of monster. JW tries to give us a stupid justification for accepting the presence of a monster in a movie that is not about monsters. That's not JP. JP is about the wonders of the mesozoic era. We can discuss on the scientific accuracy of the animals, sure. But the core idea was 'park of dinosaurs'. It's clear that JW is something else.

Amazing to see how one of the most iconic shots from the film was planned. I could watch the making of every shot in this film.

I hype for Jurassic World 3 with Sam Neil and Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern on the mainland in the full movie with big roles.

It was a great idea and it took a genius like Crichton to do it well.

Dizzy Blu -- Jurassic World was fine. I'm glad they did bring it back-- for two big reasons, 1) good science fiction movies are needed. Jurassic World probably needed 2 more re-writes before being filmed, but there are some solid-Crichton ideas that Trevorrow leaves the audience with. 2) Jurassic Park (the franchise) sincerely needed the attention. You say "child memories will remain", yeah... but nostalgic memories only go so far. Kids deserve and needed a movie like this too. So I'm happy kids are growing up with their own Jurassic Park/Jurassic World series.
Fallen Kingdom actually looks fantastic based on what we've seen, and I've heard rave reviews about JA Bayona's direction with this series.
