- Laos - the country where laws and police not so much presented, you can do many things here which are officially prohibited. However, it feels very safe. I think the mentality of people plays a big role in it. In some countries you would have a lot of police and the strict laws but still would have a lot of brutality, but here it's kind of safe. Maybe also Buddism plays its role.

I think I was still young going to Laos. That was some 35 years ago. Can’t remember much honestly. Beautiful people!
Now what is going on if Sergey when he is making videos showing his apparent admiration and his apparent regrets for the “lost good values and achievements of the lost Soviet Union”, so to speak. And is he perhaps, in his eyes, sharing this perception perhaps with so many other Russians? From his recent travels to quite a number of foreign countries he should be aware what makes the difference, if he is not aware of such things maybe he has not been to countries which make this difference….🤔

You get your usual like from me for making this video giving us some insight into some spots of a remote country I would certainly not visit.
The latter is not meant to be a disrespect for the people who (have to) live there under such conditions, but such countries, although interesting, are not a travel destination for me. Such countries are merely the "playgrounds" of some local "elites" who have usurped these countries and the people living there in order to exploit them for themselves and impose the supposed stamp of "equality" on them. The same applies to Sergeji's home country. Thank you, no!
What a tangled web of power lines in parts of the city. I noticed quite a few full sized pickup trucks. 😊
Pickup trucks are very popular in this part of the World. Thailand also. I’m surprised how they afford to buy them. Those cars are very expensive.
