First time mom, my baby boy was born at 33 weeks. He was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks after birth, due to being premature. But praise God for blessing and keeping my baby. He is home and doing extremely well!! So waking up every 3 hours for feeding is an absolute blessing for me!! I love being his mom. 🙌🏾💙🙌🏾
Watching from Africa..thanks your videos have been helpful from week 10..since I knew about this channel. I gave birth successfully and am mama now. Herr to learn about babies first week

I'm Alamos 54 and the mother of a 33 yeas old daughter Anna, and 7 weeks ago, I gave birth to my 2ed daughter, Mayah. She was born at 8 months. I am so happy and extremely blessed because she is perfectly healthy. ❤🙏
I am 9wks pregnant with twins, boy & girl. I have not been pregnant for the last 19yrs. My 1st born, a male who is 19yrs. From nairobi Kenya. I love watching your videos because i feel like a 1st timer, nothing i remember about pregnancy and babies. You are blessed, i appreciate you.
My baby girl is 3 months old. I had some hard times recently, due to the expectations I had about motherhood. Nothing is going as I planned in my mind, and now you words about take care of myself are very important to understand that I need to rest and remember that my baby is happy and healthy and that means I am enough for her ❤ thanks for your inspirational words
I have my first child, newborn, and she’s 5 weeks old tomorrow. She will sleep in streets of 3-5 hours, and we do believe she knows nighttime from daytime. My husband and I split shifts so we both get on average 4+ hours of uninterrupted sleep and it’s game changing
I’m not sure why this system (eat, play, sleep) is so popular online. Maybe it works for formula-fed babies but breastfed babies eat often and definitely before going to bed. Have you tried going to bed hungry? It’s not nice. Why would you recommend that mothers starve their babies? I made this mistake early on because it seemed like THE correct way to do it and my baby daughter was in tears before every nap. Breastfed babies sleep, eat, play, eat, wind down, eat and then sleep. They might not be in the mood for all those snacks or might want even another one right before napping. Follow the cues, not advice online.
My baby is exclusively breast fed and we do eat-play-sleep..she definitely isn’t starving and goes to bed happy. If she eats right before sleep she sleeps worse because she has reflux-like issues. Before bed at night, she eats, plays, bath, eat, then cuddles for a little bit then sleep..then it’s about 30 min before bed. So if that works for you that’s great, but it is not the case for allll breastfed babies.
Hi Diana, I commented on your 34 weeks gestation video and I have an update for you! Our daughter was born late preterm at 36 weeks and 3 days! She’s happy and healthy! Thank you for keeping us informed through out this incredible journey.
I am a mom of three I had my baby boy four months ago, My two kids are now 17 and 14 years old. This baby is a blessing from Allah I’m so glad to have 3rd baby 👶 but to be honest, feel like a new mom 😂 but l appreciate Allah for everything he gives to me. I watch all your videos during pregnancy. And I learned a lot from you. Thank you so much. ❤
I saw all your weekly pregnancy videos from 4 weeks. Can’t believe I am watching this video when my little daughter will be a month old soon 😭😭😭 I am ready to sleep a bit!!!!
I’m a first time parent!! I just gave birth to my baby girl 6 days ago, 7/25/24. I was 38 weeks pregnant and have been watching your videos since I found out I was expecting. I just want to make sure I be the best mother I can be for my daughter. I’m also really nervous by me being a first time parent.
Thank you for this Diana! I am a first time mom, I had my little one in September. My boyfriend and I watched you every week through my pregnancy. More videos on infant care and development and postpartum health are much appreciated :) thank you for being there for us
I’m a first time mom for my 7th week baby boy. I love all your videos Diana! It is so helpful to me and I watched all your videos since I got pregnant last year. ❤️
I'm 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I'm so so happy I found your channel. This will be our first baby and I am very uneducated about this entire process. Between my hashimoto's and anxiety disorder this has been a lot for me to take in. But your guidance is already easing my mind. Thank you Diana.
Newborn phase. Almost 2 weeks old. First time mom. Still learning all the tricks and techniques and things for my baby. Thanks for all the videos you do.
I honestly wish I could meet you in person one day.i followed your pregnancy videos religiously until I gave birth 5 weeks ago and they helped tremendously.i kept wondering if you made baby videos too like this one.Thank you so much!!!❤
Just found your vids and am 25 weeks pregnant w baby #2 after 15yrs! I’m excited about starting all over but really praying this angel starts sleeping through the night at 3 weeks like her big sister did🙏🏾😬
My husband and I are expecting our first, I am 22 weeks pregnant and these videos really help a lot. I noticed early on that you loose sleep before you even birth your baby from all the getting up at night and on top of that insomnia, it will be very interesting to add a newborn to the mix but we are so excited and feel like it really is dragging before we meet our beautiful bundle. Thank you for the videos!
I’m 34 weeks, I have been watching you videos every week from the beginning of my pregnancy 🥺 Thank you so much! I’m a first time mom and appreciate the tips💙✨
Thank you Diana for all of your videos!! You helped me so much during my first successful pregnancy! I’ve been watching your channel since I was 3 months pregnant! I now have a 4 month old who wakes up throughout the night to eat 2am, 4am, 6am 😭😭😭 I am so tired!!!
Hang in there Jackelyne. There is nothing like caring for a new baby. It's the best/hardest thing ever. And believe it or not, you'll miss this stage when they are older💜 I hope this video helps, you've got this💜💜💜
Thank you for your amazing videos Diana. My baby is 7 weeks old, for the past 1 week she has been falling asleep between 2:00am to 4:00am. She sleeps all day and is awake all night …I can’t wait for her to get back her normal sleep routine.
FTM Baby is now 3 months and weights in at 7kg already. He falls asleep at 21:15. Hope that thoe 4 month sleep regression does not affect him to much. Really want him to sleep through the night. I still wake up at 2 am to feed and again at 5am. Thanks for the awesome videos, thry really help.
After 41 weeks and 2days of carrying my little one, I’ve finally welcomed her in May. Currently trying to tackle the sleep train stage. You’ve been so helpful throughout.
same, mine is a similar age and still wakes up around 2-3 times per night. But usually calming him down and giving him something to eat will shut his eyes again in only 5-10mins, so we get a lot of sleep each night. It´s great.
We’re expecting our second in May and watching videos like these ahead of time to hopefully have an easier time than we did with our first 😅. She didn’t sleep through the night consistently until 3 years old. Really hoping we don’t need to wait so long this time!
Diana THANK YOU. I am just about to hit week 27 and your videos have kept me calm and sane throughout my pregnancy. I spent the past two nights in the hospital because I have been unwell and had bad cramping with spikes and couldnt feel my boy in there. Luckily he seems to be ok even though Istill feel awful. Your warm and friendly advice vids have helped especially with this. So THANK YOU
Thank you for your teachings. Theyve been helpful from the day i got pregnant till now, baby is 16 weeks now. At times i do really forget about myself but I'm going to be fair to myself and baby Thank you so much
I am the first time Mom👩👧. My son is six months old. I watched your videos since I was about six weeks pregnant all the way to the end and I have to say you have taught me so much. Going to my appointments and when I was in labor and delivery, I felt like I knew everything because I watched each of your videos week to week from beginning to the end and you had me so well prepared. I thank you so much you were having sent. I am so glad that you continue to make videos as you promised you would towards the end of my pregnancy to help me get through.now I'm looking forward to the first year with him and learning more things from you. So the 6 to 9 video I just watched right before this one is right on time for me.❤
My 4th baby an your page learn me alot an easy some of my stress an worries that I had but I told the tips an I give birth the 8 of this month an I had no stitches ❤❤❤
I had my precious baby March 5. Still in shock that I have a baby. Sometimes it’s a little overwhelming that someone needs me all the time, but I love being a mom. I love her so much
You’re incredible am 5 weeks postpartum today I enjoy following you while I was pregnant. This is my 3 C section and got horrible nerve damage this time baby definitely hasn’t been sleeping am breastfeeding 100% and definitely no sleep yet but enjoying the bonding
33 weeks and 5 days in and I’m excited 😊. It’s cute how he acts like a personal alarm clock. As of lately he’s been sleeping a lot more but The moment he senses that I’m hungry he moves a lot more he starts kicking rapidly even if I’m sleeping to get me to get up and go eat and it’s a distinct way that he does it compared to his normal daily movements and I find it hilarious and adorable. He also tends to try to move until I’m awake unless I verbally tell him that we are taking a nap he’s not letting me go back to sleep😭. When he gets here I’m honestly going to miss it but I personally would rather have him physically in front of me where I can hold him and kiss him and love him. I’m enjoying the time I have with him internally but I really can’t wait to meet him physically🥺.
FTM with baby girl born thanksgiving day! I’ve been watching your videos since 6 weeks pregnancy. I made it to 38 weeks and 5 days before she was forced out due to HBP. Love all your videos! Super helpful!!
Good morning!! this is a great video, my daughter just had her first baby she is a week old, I am a first time grandma, im sending her this video right away, thanks for sharing and have a great day.
Thank you so much Diana for the last tips it not easy especially for a first time mom like me . we want to take care of the baby, clean the house , make sure everything is in place and at the same time still look good for ourselves seriously it not easy.. But I am hanging in there 💪
It's sure not my baby is a month and 13 days old it's hard now I'm be myself at night crying it out not working for me I just wish she sleep I know she is sleeping because when I put her up and hold her she fall asleep so fast
First time Mom. Baby girl is 6 weeks old. I followed you all throughout my pregnancy! My baby fights her sleep, but she does pretty good at night. This was still very helpful. 💕
19 weeks pregnant with #2 and this video is GOLDEN. Had a tough time sleep training my first. He breastfed for over 2 years and was VERY boob attached! Will try this method this time around!
I've been watching your videos since 24wks pregnant. My son was born via c-section at 34wks 5days. He's now 6wks old. I love and appreciate your videos so much
I've got a 1 month old and he refuses to sleep in his bassinet/crib. He only will sleep if he is being held. He breaks out of his swaddle regularly, we've tried multiple, and as soon as he realizes he's not being held it's full blown cry mode. He's very much a mommy's boy.
Such an excellent video! My husband and I “started over” as we have adult children. My mom passed when I was 9 months and when my oldest were younger, she was my go to (she was a mom of 7), It’s as if I got a lot and had to figure all this stuff out trial and error. I came up with mostly everything you described was what worked best for my baby. I’m pregnant again and 43 so my memory is not the greatest and I’m saving this video to re-listen as I am hitting that phase of working on a sleep schedule!(:
2nd time Mom (14 years gap) and my babygirl is 2 weeks & 2 days! The things you mentioned in this video is what she do. Like sucking on her fingers after she clustered fed 3/4 times already. Normally she’ll suck on her fist if she’s hungry. Your video was very helpful. Thank you
My 11 month old little guy still wakes up every 1.5-2hrs to nurse. He doesn’t cry or fuss. He will just find his milkies and almost immediately fall right off to sleep. He seems to only be nursing for comfort. Hes 27-lbs and mainly on solids at this point. But he REFUSES to wean at night. And quite frankly, I’m not ready to wean either. But after he turns 1, maybe 1.5, we will revisit sleep training and weaning .
This is great information for me, a first time mother! Thank you Diana! 👍 for us breastfeeding mothers, what should we do when the baby latches but does not suck and then falls asleep even though I try to wake him?
Currently pregnant. I'm at 8 weeks. Always wanted kids. im finally pregant, a bit early then expecting. i am super nervous for this bub. I want to make sure I'm the best mum.
Im a first time mom! Is it ever too late to start these tips? My baby girl is 5 weeks 5 days and I haven't done a single thing you've mentioned. I wish I would have found your videos sooner! I can't wait to try these tips
This is my first baby I had in August 35 weeks and 4 Days no nicu alhamdulillah(All praise and thanks be to Allah(God))He is 3months now healthy happy and growing could you do a video on the 3-6 months because the developmental stages is so much

All my midwives told me to make sure my babies (breastfed) have a full belly so they can sleep well
@@tan1309 good advice!
Agreed!!
Let’s not listen to the Dr. why would we do that

Thanks alot for this videos.
This is my second baby and she is 2months old. Her elder sister will be turning 6 in July.

Hullo,Diana ,I gave birth on 4th Oct 😂, thanks for all the information ❤
My 11 month old little guy still wakes up every 1.5-2hrs to nurse. He doesn’t cry or fuss. He will just find his milkies and almost immediately fall right off to sleep. He seems to only be nursing for comfort. Hes 27-lbs and mainly on solids at this point. But he REFUSES to wean at night. And quite frankly, I’m not ready to wean either. But after he turns 1, maybe 1.5, we will revisit sleep training and weaning .
My son is 6 months and he's exactly the same. I however would love to have him sleep throughout the night. I'm tired all the time.
