My wife is 34 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer causing infertility issues. We went through three rounds of IVF and received 2 embryos. I’m 2 years late but I wanted to add. Make sure you have a baby seat or baby rocker that you can bring to the bathroom with you. You can go number 2 or take a shower and not worry that your baby is crying in the bedroom all by themselves. It’s life saving. Trust me
@@LorelleJustice when they are a newborn it could work, but once they start to roll over it would be safer to have them in a seat especially when they start crawling

You’ll realize what you truly need as time passes I promise there is always one more thing that can be purchased but at the end of the day you’ll realize most of these things are nice-to-haves not must-haves . May I ask, had you stared to use the traditional method of shortening birth for baby, and avoiding tearing and episiotomy for mum, painless, gradual 'Birth Canal Widening' to 10cm diameter achieved prior to the start of birth (Wikipedia English 'Perineal Massage') or Aniball device? 'Mums Independent' on Facebook and my four 'Birth explained...' videos on my UA-cam channel (with fun poems for kids and 'Custard making made fun for children' which promotes Shakespeare) go into more detail. Today I’ve been told I’m showing at 34-35 weeks along instead of the 32-33 weeks I had been measured at. The doc told me I can expect baby to pop by the end of this month at the soonest and I’m both nervous and excited! Thanks for this, it came at a valuable time!

So I found on on August 21st, 2023 that I have a baby boy due on September 28th, 2023!! Long story short, was told I couldn’t have children due to PCOS, was on birth control. I didn’t recognize symptoms because I don’t have a gallbladder.. I thought I was just having stomach problems oh my! This baby is definitely a miracle and something I didn’t know I wanted so badly, but not much time to prepare. Luckily I have a great support system! I’ve enjoyed watching your videos!

Meanwhile in the USA I’m trying to get tanf which is basically just cash assistance from the state, 7 months pregnant and they won’t approve me getting a measly $250/month unless I work 30 hrs a week. The first three months of work won’t affect the benefits bc then if I make “too much money” they take away snap (food assistance) and the tanf. 🤯 make it make sense

Hi there from the US and currently 24 wks - love you videos as a first time mom to be! Just wanted to mention my experience with maternity leave. The FMLA is only applicable to larger companies with 50+ employees at one location. So it doesn't apply to me and many others as I work in a smaller office with 40 or so ppl. Luckily my employer is great and we have short term disability for 8 wks and willing to do work from home for a few months. I just wanted to put it out there that FMLA doesn't apply to everyone and you should have the conversation with your employer so they may be more willing to work with you on a plan. 🙂

I’d add to have freezer meals prepared for postpartum and to research everything you can about pregnancy, labor and postpartum and have an informed birth plan. I know there’s a low chance of everything going according to plan but moms should still be informed about what’s what.

I’m 14 weeks along. This is my second baby, third pregnancy. My first child is almost 7, so I definitely need a refresher on all of it! My second pregnancy ended in a loss at almost 12 weeks, so now I’m ready to start getting ready for baby, since I’m more comfortable now that we are in a safer zone (second trimester).

I'm so glad I saw these comments! I'm also 42 and 34 weeks pregnant with my 5th child. However it's been 14 years since my last one, I'm finding myself scared out of my wits. A lot of people say oh wow you're just starting all over again. Honestly I'm a little tired of that comment. Lol. But I'm still a little scared, so it's good to know I'm not alone. 😊

Don’t worry too much momma! You’ll do just fine. Baby needs the basics and all the love he can get . May I ask, had you stared to use the traditional method of shortening birth for baby, and avoiding tearing and episiotomy for mum, painless, gradual 'Birth Canal Widening' to 10cm diameter achieved prior to the start of birth (Wikipedia English 'Perineal Massage') or Aniball device? 'Mums Independent' on Facebook and my four 'Birth explained...' videos on my UA-cam channel (with fun poems for kids and 'Custard making made fun for children' which promotes Shakespeare) go into more detail. Today I’ve been told I’m showing at 34-35 weeks along instead of the 32-33 weeks I had been measured at. The doc told me I can expect baby to pop by the end of this month at the soonest and I’m both nervous and excited! Thanks for this, it came at a valuable time!

So I found on on August 21st, 2023 that I have a baby boy due on September 28th, 2023!! Long story short, was told I couldn’t have children due to PCOS, was on birth control. I didn’t recognize symptoms because I don’t have a gallbladder.. I thought I was just having stomach problems oh my! This baby is definitely a miracle and something I didn’t know I wanted so badly, but not much time to prepare. Luckily I have a great support system! I’ve enjoyed watching your videos!

Meanwhile in the USA I’m trying to get tanf which is basically just cash assistance from the state, 7 months pregnant and they won’t approve me getting a measly $250/month unless I work 30 hrs a week. The first three months of work won’t affect the benefits bc then if I make “too much money” they take away snap (food assistance) and the tanf. 🤯 make it make sense

Hi there from the US and currently 24 wks - love you videos as a first time mom to be! Just wanted to mention my experience with maternity leave. The FMLA is only applicable to larger companies with 50+ employees at one location. So it doesn't apply to me and many others as I work in a smaller office with 40 or so ppl. Luckily my employer is great and we have short term disability for 8 wks and willing to do work from home for a few months.
I just wanted to put it out there that FMLA doesn't apply to everyone and you should have the conversation with your employer so they may be more willing to work with you on a plan. 🙂

I’d add to have freezer meals prepared for postpartum and to research everything you can about pregnancy, labor and postpartum and have an informed birth plan. I know there’s a low chance of everything going according to plan but moms should still be informed about what’s what.

Well was blessed to order a breast pump and belly support belt n compression socks through my insurance. I'm very grateful of that. I’m 14 weeks along. This is my second baby, third pregnancy. My first child is almost 7, so I definitely need a refresher on all of it! My second pregnancy ended in a loss at almost 12 weeks, so now I’m ready to start getting ready for baby, since I’m more comfortable now that we are in a safer zone (second trimester).

Had a scare this week with a vag bleeding and braxton hicks that became very frequent very fast. But luckily the bleeding stopped yay. The bh calmed down if i take bedrest.
