Amazing and so insightful… Thank you so much for your studied performances… It is obvious you did your homework and Incorporated many of the more rare interviews into your entire presentation. I loved it for the most part shared without the laugh track, as that only increased the poignancy.. thank you and bless you both. And may I say, Lady Mary Pozah, you really did your homework with your accent!
I too was looking forward to seeing the real Lil Edie. I must say, This was EPIC. An amazing piece of art. I think lil' Edie might be quite tickled to see such a tribute but maybe not, You understand. No dance needed, the little American flag, along with Edie's words, (done brilliantly) gave us the dance in our heads. We didn't miss a thing. Bravo!
Just brilliant. Well done..she is sooo edi its spooky...chock with edi quotes.. even edi would smile at this. Its been done with serious study...very well done
Quick, aren't you. 😂 No offense intended. This was art. Regardless if you like it or you don't. I too, was disappointed that it wasn't lil' Edie yet was so taken with the whole thing. Of course, you're right. Lil Edie was gone long before this was made. I think she'd be very happy that her memory lives on, still. An eccentric anomaly.
Why are you making fun of someone who had such a tragic fall from grace. Two women who loved each other, a mother who screwed her own daughter for her own vanities. Edie Jr. Beale could've had a wonderful career but knew she had to be with her mother for her mother's sanity.
I thought it was a real interview with the real Edie Beale.. how disappointing. I truly wonder what became of her end.. little Edie and her mother. Grey Garden..oh I guess I will settle for your ghost hugs.
After Edie Sr died little Edie sold Grey Gardens and move to a couple of different states, she lived in grenich village and had a cabaret act before retiring to Bal Harbour Florida. She was found deceased in her home on January 14,2002 at the age of 84. She finally found peace in her life and had many friends before she passed. Her life really began after her mother's death. Little Edie fulfilled her dream of being a singer in New York and died happy despite the rough time she had. HBO made a movie with Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lang. You can buy it on Amazon. It's a very good movie, also you can by the the documentary about the Beales that was made in the 70's to see how they really lived. It's very interesting. The people she sold Grey Gardens to was rehabbed per an agreement that Edie had that upon selling it that it wouldn't be torn down. You can Google it and see how beautifully restored it is. Little Edie would be proud.
Sometimes i dance like little edie with the flag even though im a black masculine man . dont you dare ever tell anyone either. And i like the drag shows and stuff hahaha i used to watch headda lettuce from the 90s. I love drag race but i only like the singing parts. Ok im done confessing father.
Little Edi, god rest her soul. Never compromised, always improvised to be a fashion icon.
Looks like the famous curtain from Johnny Carson show!
Bummer I thought this was gonna be the real Edie 😕
Who said it ain’t? I saw it with my own two eyes. She faded right in!
Wasn't far off tho 😊
Well said ! The real Eddie was so interesting, sweet and genuinely herself. No put ons with that Lady !

Bravo!
Jackie Kennedy & Edie Beale. The classiest two woman EVER to live in America!
And their cousin Louis Auchincloss is one of my favorite novelists… what a family! And don’t forget Lee
Wow this is an awesome channel!! Like the best I've seen and it's so cool to see such class in this day n age!
Aww I love this, I adore her thanks for sharing x 😁

Thank you for bringing Edie back to life for a visit.❤️❤️
I loved this so much!!!
big Edie did not leave her rich husband, he left her. And big edie pissed her rich father off too and he disowned her. so she was left with no money.
This lifted my spirits today Cheers!!!
That's not the real Eadie

Im not an actor but I could have pulled off the spirit of E.B. Drew Barrymore’s take was genius. This was disappointing.
Ok i enjoyed. Very fun video. Good history in this video too you didnt play around. Good.
This was fabulous! ABSolutely fabulous, I must say.
(a masterful character study, you understand.)

@Scott Knubley you said it. Her life was no joke. This is sad. Smh
she’s not making fun. this is a tribute
Can you ask if they ever find out who was putting books in the attic
I never heard that one. I looked it up but don't see anything....
The only thing missing is the American flag dance. You are a talent through and through!
How very and sweet and generous of you. She does enter with the flag!
This is wonderful ! Love you little Edie
Thanx, David! Edie loves you too!
Should have gotten Jinx Monsoon to help with this...
I believe it was Jinx 'Little Edie' on the snatch game that secured him a win on the Ru Paul's Drag Race. Pure genius.

She moved to Fl where she died in her 80's.
She became a cult figure...
About a year after the premiere big edie passed away and she moved to new York, and settled in bar harbor. Did a few cabaret shows
@@LadyMaryPozah I'm sorry but, she passed away in early 2000 in Florida.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED EDIES VOICE
Such a disgrace to the memory of Edith.
I disagree, it's wonderful. There's countless EDI quotes in there and she is so edi like it's astounding. A great great homage.
@@Sol-CuttaIndeed!
A bizzare joke. Not my cup of tea. Darling. 🙄
I love Edie, original hippie beautiful, gone now
She did a wonderful reenactment of little Edie. ❤
Great imitation of little Edie ❤
