Jingle All The Way is a true classic and the disrespect you have shown by not putting it in top 3 Arnold movies is disturbing to say the very least. I hope you take some time for yourself and think about the harm your opinions have caused.
What makes the predator scary is that we are introduced to the characters as these basically unstoppable action heroes, only for them to be picked off 1 by 1 by a threat that they can’t even see most of the time. I missed when horror movies were smart like this
True but honestly Arnold's acting has somewhat improved since his return to acting. You should see his movie Aftermath. His dramatic acting is actually pretty good. His dramatic acting in Maggie is good too.
@TransCube stop saying things are subjective, subjective art is abstract, most art is not abstract therefore most art is not subjective. If you disagree with it, him being a bad actor, you can either prove it, or you cant comprehend the rules.
Kindergarten Cop is the perfect metaphor for Arnold’s career at that point in time. It starts as an action movie which transitions into an a fun comedy, then into an overly sappy and sentimental family film.
It was a family movie for most of its run time. The comedy was in that genre overall even though it has some risque parts. It is a great movie but it does seem like two different ones. The beginning seems more Arnold action and then most of the movie is Arnold family comedy.
@@carlpeterson8182 I dunno dude, whenever I re-watch it and remember that it's got hookers overdosing on heroin as far as halfway through the movie, I'm sort of amazed (and, in an odd way, appreciative) of some of the tonal jerks that movie pulls

The original "Terminator" will always justtttt edge out the sequel for me as a film, because of the more gritty tone, Michael Biehn's awesome (and criminally slept-on) performance as Kyle Reese, the way Cameron shoots 80's LA almost feeling post-apocalyptic in and of itself...but that said, I suppose that doesn't make it the better "ARNOLD Movie". Which is pretty sad all things considered especially that most people arent that extroverted and it literally closes the door for them in 90% of cases. Work with what you have, life isnt fair and it fucking sucks to be honest.
I thought Total Recall was his best. I thought it had the most interesting premise and script. It really got you to question what was real and what wasn't for several hours straight. Even as the credits rolled, I still wasn't sure. It makes you actually think about the nature of reality, very few action movies have that kind of depth. And the moral that Kwato gave was excellent to paraphrase "it doesn't matter what your past is, you are what you DO." The movie had GOOD writing. It had everything that made T2 great, but also a better story. That's why I think it's the best over-all.
@@dr.juerdotitsgo5119 The original Terminator is better at being a sci-fi horror film, T2 is better at being sci-fi action. So it's a shift in tone. Different types of movies. It's a lot like the shift in tone from Alien to Aliens. Cameron, of course, also directed Aliens (the 2nd, but not the first), and both Terminators. He seems to always shift sci-fi horro to sci-fi action when he makes a sequel like that.
@@William-the-Guy The tone shift is a fair argument, but "Aliens" manages to be its own thing, it's extremely different from the original; T2, not so much. I like it at lot, amazing action scenes, but at the core is the same story all over again: machines send assassin, humans send protector. And personally, it gets too sentimental by the end, too "hollywood tearjerker", something Cameron would do tenfold in Titanic. Plus I'll never forgive him for turning one of the most intimidating villains of all time into a robotic gentle giant lol
And as a meta fiction flick, it also doesn’t fall afoul of the now dreaded Buffyspeak. The whole idea of Arnold telling people to hurry up was such a trope that the Terminator 2 pinball machine had custom voice clips of Arnold telling you to "Hurry up!" and "Go! Run!" in that monotone Terminator voice for the hurry-ups.

Jingle All The Way has always been one of my favourite Christmas movies. I don't care what anyone says, I think it's a solid family film, coming from a guy who usually detests that sort of movie.
The bulk of 80's and 90's Arnie films are always fun. Most were never built to be masterpieces, but they succeed in being entertaining. And that's what film should be.
Here's my Hot Fuzz story. My wife and I saw it in the theatre back when it came out in '07. There were only like 10 people for the whole show and we all kind of sat in the middle. My wife and I were really enjoying the movie until about the last half hour; which I refer to as the funniest half hour in cinema history. My wife and I were LITERALLY howling with laughter, holding ourselves to keep from falling off the floor, and nearly suffocating because we couldn't take a break. The Lui Kang flying kick to the old woman's face fucking broke me.
I never thought I'd finish a video reviewing all of Arnie's films. Thank you for making the later half bearable to watch, you got a nice attitude, Alex, keep it up! :D
I've never actually sat down and watched an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, so this was a really interesting watch. I grew up hearing my friends make references to his one-liners, and I always laughed, but I never knew the context. Cool video!
Great video! I grew up watching Arnold in the late 80s and throughout the 90s. Going to the theater to see a new Arnold movie was just the greatest thing a kid could ask for, much simpler time it was, and me and my friends would recite Arnold's one liners the following Monday at school. I still admire him, as he was the reason I got into bodybuilding, I was always a skinny guy growing up, and always wanted to feel good about my self. Going to the gym and starting to take bodybuilding seriously did wonders for me, especially with women. I went from a shy skinny kid to a confident man, and honestly it's definitely thanks to Arnold. We need more great role models like him! 💯💪😀
I showed this video to my mum since she's the entire reason I got into Schwarzenegger, and we had fun agreeing with some of your points, disagreeing with some of the others, and debating our own rankings. Fantastic video, thank you
HAVE YOU AND YOUR MOM SEEN 'ARNOLD' ON NETFLIX??? IF NOT, YOUR MOM WILL LOVE IT...I TOO AMM A BIG FAN OF ARNOLD SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING WATCHING EVERY BODY BUILDING HE WAS IN...THEN MOVIES, AND THEN GOVNER OF CALIFORNIA (SAID IN ARNOLD'S VOICE). I LIVE IN CA. FOR 50 YEARS...
Before you comment that I forgot the Expendables movies. I didn't forget them. I'm only counting movies where he's in either a supporting or starring role. So no cameos. Thanks for watching. Much love to all. :)
If Expendables 2&3 aren't included. Either should Iron Mask or Killing Gunther. All have Arnold in equally smallish roles. With Arnold only appearing in few sections of the film. With maybe 15-20 minutes of screen time total.
I think watching Arnie's filmography is a mystic & metaphysic experience that one should do at least once in a lifetime. That being said, The Terminator is a fantastic & smart thriller, less popular than T2 and I get it, it's kinda more entertaining and "fun"; but The Terminator is a real gem for those who appreciate film noir and anticipation. Its darkness, its old practical effects, and Sarah Connor's hairstyle makes it an unforgettable movie. However, I LOVED the way you comment these movies. You sound like you care and don't give a fuck about anything at the same time.
It’s shocking that Arnold got to be involved with Conan, The Terminator, T2: JD, Predator, Total Recall and even True Lies all during his prime years when for most actors; it’d be the first three or the latter three that gets to be part of their filmography. All very different flavours of action films and he adapts well to each style they’re going for.
I love most of these movies, I am glad that you did this with your brother, as that is how I have seen all of these, watching Arnold movies with my brother was a big part of our childhood.
I don't have to agree with the ranking, but it was great to see all these just enough for a great reminder. Especially the bear fight, when he threw it, guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend. Thank you! Edit: 67 hours of Arnold, but how long for editing this? You sir, did go insane, and we appreciate it!
When he says "Yeah, it's all right" on only entry 8 out of 37, you know something is up. Btw if you're reading this Mr. Boucher please do more actor movie rankings like this, it would be great.
watched Total Recall for the first time last week I have to now watch every Arnold film. he's just so goddamn entertaining on so many levels, good and bad
I was born in 74, and I feel so blessed because I got to witness some of the greatest movie stars, sports stars and music icons of all times. Prime Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Norris, Steven Seagal, VanDamme, Mel Gibson, Clint Eastwood..etc..... The invention of Hulk Hogan and Hulkamania, MrT, Macho Man Randy Savage, Ric Flair and the 4 Horsemen, etc..... Prime Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran. Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield...... and prime Roy Jones jr and Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather jr, man those guys were untouchable, they were like watching wizards in the boxing ring. Prime Michael Jackson, country music group Alabama in their prime, 80s hair bands like Guns n Roses, Metallica, etc.... the invention and evolution of hip hop... prime Michael Jordan...nascar at its peak, with Prime Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, etc.... some of the greatest tv shows like Dukes of Hazzard, ATeam, Night Rider, Thunder Cats, He man, Transformers, Looney Tunes, Simpsons, etc... man this list could go on forever! I would hate to be a kid in this era
Hands down, my two favorite Schwarzenegger films are Total Recall and True Lies, and the first two Terminators are on the list of my all-time favorite movies. Arnold is a much better actor than he's given credit for. This is a great video, thanks for building a great UA-cam channel!
You mentioned the "one song" they use in every scene in Hercules. In fact they're mostly different songs, but they're made with the same instrument, the bouzouki and have similar rhythm. They're actual greek pieces of music usually to be danced to
Shame on you for ripping on true lies. It was genuinely entertaining and easily watchable for the 1000th rerun even in 2022. Easily one of the best 90s films! Admittedly that decade wasn't the finest one for films - in any country.
I agree with you, True Lies is entertaining, which is why I put it at 6. But being entertaining is not an end all argument for a good film. True lies is completely misguided with it's intentions. Arnold's sidekick has got several unhinged monologues that are twisted as hell. The striptease scene is nothing but creepy. The film always treats its woman characters as either comedic relief or an excuse to give boners to the dudes in the audience. Maybe I'm misreading the entire film, but theres no shame in that my guy. If I hear a compelling argument I will change my mind. Opinions are cheap anyways! And the youtube comments section is not the best environment for reasonable debate!! Exclamation marks!!!
i just realized now that you have less than 10k subs, for me this is a crime from the highest degree, so from now on i will make it my mission to help this channel that i enjoy so much grow as much as it deserves. also great video really like the short skits you do irl keep up improving.

Great video.. you can feel the love put into it. Arnie were no.1 in the 80s & 90s... I completely agree about T2.. best Arnie movie and probably the ultimate action movie. Predator & Total Recall + The Terminator (of course) are very close to my heart as well.
This list could be the most obnoxiously wrong list I’ve ever seen on UA-cam although I know you’re not taking it seriously maybe because I was young when I watched most of his classics but I do take his action movie seriously and it’s insane how you raked them
Yeah I've never heard someone saying that his action movies are bad or that many of his movies are laughable. I mean it's not Steven Seagal, Chuck Norris or Van Damme we talking about here. Arnold was a A-List high grossing movie star
Really great video, I'd like to see you do more of these, one of my favourite actors is Thomas Jane, very underrated but he's been in films like The Punisher, The Mist, Deep Blue Sea, 1977 and he's such a badass dude, if you wanted someone else to study, thanks, subscribed
Arnold was my dads hero, inspired him to take up bodybuilding which massivly helped with his ailment in his bones. Sadly he died when i was 10 a month shy of my 11th birthday. Arnold is a truley inspiring human being, a skinny austrian boy with a huge dream. Becomes the biggest action hero of the last 40 years A true G.O.A.T
Great video. Great work. I would put Running Man much higher. Such a classic and also a Stephen king story about a sadistic dystopian future. I liked End of Days a lot not sure why you had that so low. And Conan the Destroyer should be much higher! You obviously didn't grow up in the 80s cause for me that movie holds a lot of nostalgia more than the first Conan movie. Not to mention Wilt Chamberlain is the ma fu in man. Other than that I enjoyed the video.
I personally just would have put *Pumping Iron* way lower and *Conan the Barbarian* way higher in the list. But you explained your reasons, so I understand why we have different tastes.
Description: I watched every Arnold Schwarenger movie, and I still don't know how to spell his last name, if someone finds out, please tell me. Me: Well, you got it right in the title of your video.
Arnold to me is in a similar category of movie star that Keanu reeves and Nicolas cage are in. Are they good at acting? They’re fine. But they always capture your attention whenever you see them. I see Arnold and he brings such a unique charisma and energy to any film he’s in, because his success story is so inspiring that it translates to the screen too
Conan is one of the best movies I have ever watched. Great cinema but also makes you think much more than expected. Also the soundtrack is on the same level as Star Wars.
It was perfect they had a role which required no acting and found an actor who couldn't. Also him having almost no dialogue was perfect for Mumbles Mahoney.
Watching T2 in the theatre as an impressionable 12 year old changed my life. It will always be my favorite movie, and I will always fear ai because of it lol
Charles Dance was also excellent in Last Action Hero. Turned out that he could always deliver some sweet one-liners as well, such as, "If God were a villain... He'd be me."
Terminator, Terminator 2, Predator, True Lies, Total Recall and Conan are all fucking bangers with T2 being a godlike movie that will never ever be unwatchable.
There's a few movies in the list that I'd bump up (some by quite a lot of spaces lmao) but on the whole I think this is pretty well reasoned and accurate based on my viewing experience

I'm glad you ranked Hercules in New York so high, that movie is the perfect definition of "dumb fun." It's stupid but never boring.
Hercules in New York has stuck in my head better than any Disney movie to come out in the last 15 years
I am tired of ze same old fazes! ZE SAME OLD ZINGS!!
I love most of these movies, I am glad that you did this with your brother, as that is how I have seen all of these, watching Arnold movies with my brother was a big part of our childhood.
he is the actor we needed to be at the right time that asked for him
This video is not only great in concept, but well made and edited, funny and entertaining, and also a pretty correct list. Well done!
I love this so god damn much, great editing and a great video
thanks subway guy 👍
I did this a couple years ago with my wife, and now own all of these films. It was great!
You missed the point of last action hero completely, to have it so low is WILD
I always loved the first Terminator movie where he was the bad guy. It was amazing.
This is awesome man! Arnold has always had a special place in my heart.
When he says "Yeah, it's all right" on only entry 8 out of 37, you know something is up.
Btw if you're reading this Mr. Boucher please do more actor movie rankings like this, it would be great.
Currently working my way through Tom Cruise!
@@AlexBoucher I was going to make a fruity joke, but I shall refrain from doing so.😂
watched Total Recall for the first time last week
I have to now watch every Arnold film. he's just so goddamn entertaining on so many levels, good and bad
Twins is pretty underrated
So... anyone want to tell him Cameron produced and did the story for Dark Fate?
Considering how many people are credited with working on the story, I think it’s likely that Cameron just phoned it in.
@@imbetterthanyou6927 hes been phoning it in for the past few decades, hes become a total hack unfortunately
@@jayceneal5273 ah yes, all his....2 films in the last 2 decades, which both have incredible action
@@koltonknox9836 avatar is the definition of mediocre lol
@@jayceneal5273 not in a directorial sense lol
Hands down, my two favorite Schwarzenegger films are Total Recall and True Lies, and the first two Terminators are on the list of my all-time favorite movies. Arnold is a much better actor than he's given credit for. This is a great video, thanks for building a great UA-cam channel!
Can’t agree with the order/ranking but some of the points you make are absolute gold!!
You mentioned the "one song" they use in every scene in Hercules. In fact they're mostly different songs, but they're made with the same instrument, the bouzouki and have similar rhythm. They're actual greek pieces of music usually to be danced to
Oh cmon, I love The Running Man, that show was basically a prediction of the future.
Same with Total Recall with those shitty automated systems lol
T1 & T2 are 2 of the best movies of all time. As a child T2 was my favourite, as an adult T1 is my favourite.
I swear.. I didn't even know Arnold was such in horrible movies. Great video Amigo. New Sub. Hope your channel grows.
@@AlexBoucher Reddit moment.
I think one of True Lies biggest problems is just feeling way way longer than it needs to.
@@Lykyk full fedora mode right?

I saw Eraser in theaters with my Uncle when I was 6. Been an Arnie fan since.
The running man at 15 are you mad?
"Hey light head, hey Christmas tree" has to be one of my favourite insults of all time
"Here is Sub-Zero! Nowww.... just plain Zero!
Dude…. You’re hilarious! Great job.
I need to see a super cut of Arnold yelling "Get Down" which he does in 75 percent of his movies.
Awww, Twins and KCop would be in my top 5. Great video.
i just realized now that you have less than 10k subs, for me this is a crime from the highest degree, so from now on i will make it my mission to help this channel that i enjoy so much grow as much as it deserves.
also great video really like the short skits you do irl keep up improving.
godspeed on your mission lucas! and thank you!
YO HE JUST HIT 10K
@@AlexBoucher fuck you, there had to be another annoying retard whose job is to watch films that are not for you. fuck this video that you did and the ranking 🖕
Thanks!
Great video.. you can feel the love put into it. Arnie were no.1 in the 80s & 90s... I completely agree about T2.. best Arnie movie and probably the ultimate action movie. Predator & Total Recall + The Terminator (of course) are very close to my heart as well.
A bit harsh on a lot of them but kudos for watching them all and putting this video together.
Thanks for the great video. Total Recall is so great, so glossed over here. Top tier Arnold.
"Slap me every 5 minutes cause connan was boring" "any scene longer than 5 seconds makes me go to sleep" spoken like a true gen z
For real lol
“Wow. You have good taste.” I believe this is exactly what Arnold would say if he saw this video.
Great video, about a true legend, delivered in a wonderfully dry manner. Perfect.
Terminator 2 is one of the best but the best action film I've ever seen is Hardboiled. John Woo and Chow Yun Fat is an award winning combination!
Got to love how the image of the all-American hero is an Austrian immigrant with a thick accent...
Arnold was my dads hero, inspired him to take up bodybuilding which massivly helped with his ailment in his bones.
Sadly he died when i was 10 a month shy of my 11th birthday.
Arnold is a truley inspiring human being, a skinny austrian boy with a huge dream. Becomes the biggest action hero of the last 40 years
A true G.O.A.T
Nothing can increase you cultural boundaries more than an Arnie-a-thon =D
Loved this!!! Did I miss “The Comeback” in here somewhere?
Description: I watched every Arnold Schwarenger movie, and I still don't know how to spell his last name, if someone finds out, please tell me.
Me: Well, you got it right in the title of your video.
a really great video - thanks for making it
Arnold to me is in a similar category of movie star that Keanu reeves and Nicolas cage are in.
Are they good at acting? They’re fine. But they always capture your attention whenever you see them.
I see Arnold and he brings such a unique charisma and energy to any film he’s in, because his success story is so inspiring that it translates to the screen too
You mean he is the same category as Stallone and Bruce Willis are
God bless you SER for making this…Arnold will forever be my action hero ❤
2:48 This is such a refreshing attitude. The Raid 1 & 2 are my favourite action movies, though Terminator 2 is fantastic.
If I could watch only one actor's filmography for the rest of my life, it would be Arnold's.
Dude you make absolute bangers
Much appreciated! I try my best
Arnold playing against Arnold? I'm sold...
Great video man!
Now way running man is that low
Conan is one of the best movies I have ever watched. Great cinema but also makes you think much more than expected. Also the soundtrack is on the same level as Star Wars.
Sometimes I’m still in disbelief junior was a thing that happened
The Ho.. Ho.. Hyuuggh part took me out 😂
20 minutes in and I really love this video. It's very good.
Great video man, I love jingle all the way cause it's my childhood movie and even terminator 3 haha although it's been a while since I've seen it now
That was the best review of Terminator Genesys I ever seen
It was perfect they had a role which required no acting and found an actor who couldn't. Also him having almost no dialogue was perfect for Mumbles Mahoney.
True T2 is unsurpassed Action+Drama synergy. it's action but it's not stupid, it's drama but it's not boring.
Congratulations for the achievement. Get to the choppa, now!
The sound effects when the guy jumps out of the car before it’s crushed by the construction vehicles, idk why it makes me laugh my butt off.
12:20 That is the funniest line I've ever heard in cinema... no cap. EVERY time I hear it I burst out laughing.
Poetry
Watching T2 in the theatre as an impressionable 12 year old changed my life. It will always be my favorite movie, and I will always fear ai because of it lol
Charles Dance was also excellent in Last Action Hero. Turned out that he could always deliver some sweet one-liners as well, such as, "If God were a villain... He'd be me."
Terminator, Terminator 2, Predator, True Lies, Total Recall and Conan are all fucking bangers with T2 being a godlike movie that will never ever be unwatchable.
Idk T2 used to be my favorite. Now I consider is almost unwatchable. T1 is a much more superior film.
There's a few movies in the list that I'd bump up (some by quite a lot of spaces lmao) but on the whole I think this is pretty well reasoned and accurate based on my viewing experience
Put that cookie down now! Is literally my favorite line of all time
Sorry many great underplayed jokes. I loved the list of five characters he’s ever played.
