You took weight off of your ends. Good job. I prefer a rounded off bottom to a V shape. Just me though. I only go to my stylist, who wouldn't cut my hair short even if I asked, about every 6 months for her to professionally clean up my at home trims for anything I've missed. Having a stylist that listens to You and does that is the MOST important thing. Have them repeat back to you what you asked them to do Don't be afraid to tell them to stop! If they give you lip or act like you're wrong or bothering them with your questions or correcting them. ** Get up and walk out.** If you feel like it call back or talk to the manager (or owner if you need a higher up) and complain saying exactly what happened and that it will be on your social media. Especially if they insist you pay for an unfinished treatment do to stylist (let's call it) error. Just my suggestion. Not meant for everyone. No hate to anyone. Like I said I adore my stylist and miss her terribly at the scary time. I'll just save my life and hers by trimming my own har at home. Be careful, be well and God bless you all at this chaotic time. 🙏 Try to do something you like everyday and connect socially. 💜

Curly Susie has lots of good advice and talks about lots of products. It's a bit of trial and error. As long as you don't use sulphates, alcohol, or silicones in the ingredients you are heading in the right direction.
Your curly hair looked really nice but it's now time for you to have all your curls buzzed off nice and short. You would look fabulous with a short pixie cut.

Surface Curls has been my lifesaver, it’s worth the $$. It says it’s for colored hair but it works for natural hair too, just extra conditioning :)
