SHOWER THOUGHTS: You manage an all-delorean shop with 10 bays... how often does the wrong work get done to the wrong car? You know, since they all look the same.
That’s a legit question and definitely something that is a possibility. It has happened, but doesn’t happen often. We actually only run 3 lifts, each car is numbered and has the work orders with the car at all times to help combat any confusion. We will often have 30+ cars on site so keeping them all straight is a bit challenging at times but we do a good job of managing it.

What exactly causes the cylinder liners to drop?
Does anyone know for sure?
Are they shimmed et. al. at the bottom/what holds them to spec height?
Have you ever seen evidence of cavitation, or pitting on the liners?
Engine must have come from a automatic. I can tell by the throttle spool. Will that get changed for one that belongs on a manual or left as is? I figure it's not that big of deal just correctness.
David your are correct. Had not addressed it yet but we can pull the assembly off the old motor.
