It is more than half a lifetime since I lived in Ilkeston, 45 yrs, and there were many places I do not remember or have changed beyond but you had my old Drink Den in there and quite a few nostalgisic glimpses. One I noticed and it always facinated be as a child was the Bank on Bath Street, Right Hand side going down with a wedge of a little wall outside. Think it was National Bank to begin then became Nat West. No idea why but I always liked to walk along that few feet of wall outside the entrance. Thank you again.
Beautiful film, Spent many 5-10minutes in Gunns buying my `Dinky and Corgi cars...Still have some today!! Shame how its changed ...Not for the better...Great Halcyon days
