- Usint the Daiwa Wilderness Fishing Rod in Alaska. Travel Rod. I FOUND a SECRET Fishing Lake in ALASKA using google and it had Rainbow Trout! I had 3 hours spare on a turn around and the scenery turned it on.

Duuude awesome. Wait till you get onto a monster trout, you'll be hooked. Awesome to see the Aussie lures doing great (I'm still surprised that Daiwa don't make a rainbow/trout pattern on the DC48). Nevertheless, their presso lures do well (and they have just announced the return of their dr minnows which slay). Worth grabbing some blue fox vibrax spinners too for your Arsenal. Looking forward to the camping/fishing/hunting trip chieftain, tight lines!

Yeah mate it is, 7’6” wilderness, great rod. Got the extra length for land based and light lures. I’ll keep those lures in mind for the future!! Thanks man.
