@@willt718 Modern M5s have real wood and leather. What they don’t have is an NA V8 with ITBs, a 6-speed manuel, hydraulic steering and a 3,900 lb curb weight.

God, this generation car still looks striking to this day. Modern BMW is basically a different corporation now based on their execution. The F-chassis 2 and 3 series cars were the last hurrah, I think.

@@sandroschtolpe6803 Their NA straight 6s were like that too- smooth and a sublime sound at any RPM. The S62 just sounds more passionate and muscular obviously. The E39 era was peak BMW.
