Amazing sound. The Neon underneath is illegal in the U.K. But it wasn't on when driving so maybe it is legal to have??

Its not voluntary. It happens when you install aftermarket LEDs into the license plate lights and also after market angel eyes. Only happens when the car is on and the lights aren't. Happens to me in my E39! Pretty cool :D
is this a v8 or v10 model. cuz i really want this car and i'm not sure if the one i'm looking for at the moment is the good one. i'm not a bmw pro :S
the new v8tt M5 will unfortunately never sound as good as this amazing V10..

bloody amazing car... the other day i saw one on the streets flooring it then a 599 gtb follows and i couldnt hear the ferrari... the m5 is actually quite cheap used 30k-40k in canada i would love to buy one but the gas prices these days... cus i mean its a lovely looking car with tons of space and great comfort+handling..

Trust me, i always respected every 'automotive' i do love the 'BMW' however,.i really want my hand on the V10.. this beast scream like an F1 car.. i really don't care about being fan of other automotive..before it get any rarer! I am officially going to get one & full-fill my dream! Although after i own one, it never going to be sold. this is the only best car ever made by BMW. i gotta put my Golf r32 for sale, hopefully i break the bank and purchase this.=)

this model M5(e60) is a v10. the model before it (e39) was a v8 and the newer model(f10) is also a v8. hope that helps.
How is maintenance on these. Thinking about daily in a clean one.
I dont know about mauntenance but fuel is really bad. I did a 200km road trip and 2 times fuel up 😅

Aside from the rice which literally lies underneath, the this M5, amongst others, has to be one of the best sounding cars in the world.

I believe the viper sounds more of a lower tone less F1 ish.

These cars are cheap to buy now but ruinously expensive to run. I was looking online at simple everyday consumables like brakes and a cheap set of pads and discs all round is a grand, I could only imagine how much engine and gearbox repairs would stretch to...
That's the price you pay though for driving what is essentially a racing car on the road, if I could afford it I'd have one in a heartbeat.
Who needs a cramped ferrari when this car can match it in performance and sound yet still take the family along for the ride aswell.
That V10 sounds amazing. Hands down my favorite M5.....the F10 just doesn't do it for me.
