The only purpose my Series X has is playing the hand full of Xbox One exclusive games (there is like 12 if I remember correctly) like Forza Motorsport 5, Forza Motorsport 6 and Halo 5, multiplat games that didn't hit PC like Destiny 1 as well as 360 and original Xbox games. I am just glad I never have to buy another Xbox for anything ever again. The less modern consoles I have to get for my collection to be able to play everything the better I can focus on actually cool ones like the Sega Master System, Dreamcast and Sega Saturn. I think the best case scenario with this is Sony seeing Microsoft as less of a threat, feeling they don't need exclusivity to sell systems as much and as a result finally going full day and date with PC ports like Microsoft did a few years into the Xbox One's life.
I highly doubt it's because Microsoft isn't making enough money to be profitable. More likely that Microsoft sees free money out there from people that won't buy an Xbox or PC and decided "why not accept free money?"

Xbox is pushing the last few customers they have away from buying their Hardware This gen or next gen, with this news of 4 titles going multiplatform it will be just the beginning , build a PC or even buy a prebuilt one because PC will be the platform of all platforms , best visuals best fps and best modding capabilities its a no brainer
@@ps2progamer814 that's a whole other issue with pricing that xbox has to figure out, that shouldn't make consoles obsolete or less important, if they must raise the prices to justify actual powerful hardware that's understandable but they keep pushing their "Services" instead of their hardware. but that's like they are shooting themselves in the foot because its Called "XBOX" after the console "hardware" they should just call themselves Game-pass or some shit!

They want your TV to be a console now, I meant to say a game pass machine. At least sony is still showing respect to their hardware. I dont know, I think it could be bad for gaming
@@ananon5771 yes PC is not windows but when you actually take a look, you see that the game was made to be run on windows. Most of the time there isnt a official port for Linux or Mac, so you have to install a Microsoft system called windows on pc to play it
I just feel like this is the worst console generation in all of HISTORY. Gaming is on a serious decline and it's time we collectively stop ignoring it. Wake me up when GTA 6 comes out
@@mattpodmore3805 honestly though they'd pretty sad that a while entire console generation will gain credibility off the back of one game. We've seen the new Rockstar that has a lot of power. I would hate to imagine the next version of Rockstar after this game

Halo Infinite trailer in 2018, but no gameplay, gotta wait some more, then next year another trailer, no gameplay, gotta wait some more. Then 2020 comes, gameplay finally shown but delayed until 2021, more waiting. Then 2021 comes and Infinite releases, it is a steaming pile of 💩! But wait, we got some other games used for children! Come play it in the meantime. Then 4 games are becoming multiplatform, great what are they? Oh we can’t share that, gotta wait! I swear Xbox can’t get it together with building their foundation and they are a ticking timebomb for ending their product in the gaming sector. Sadly, this is going to make Sony a monopoly. There probably won’t even be a next generation console. They did it to themselves though. Glad I switched to PC, because Spencer has done more for PC gamers than he’s done for the console. Xbox Live is free on PC, but you gotta pay $120 a year to play online on console. What a joke lmao 😂 🤡

I love when xbox guys claim PC is them and then i debunk it in two seconds by saying i play those games on linux and not windows.
