Theresa! I love you and all of your videos. But , frankly I'm not a fan of most Walmart dresses. The only one I'll give love to is the green border print dress. You wore that one very well, and I think most women would too. Thanks so much, and looking forward to your next one! ❤
As for me, I would send them all back. The only thing I liked were the colors and they had pockets....which didn't always work out well. I have to say that black suits you immensely! Every black dress you wore, especially the last one, looked marvelous on you!
Actually all the dresses looked great on you. My favorites are the navy halter, the black long halter, the white tiered eyelet dress was gorgeous and I LOVE the Free Assembly dress. 💐🌺🌹 thank you for another excellent video.
Loved the whole video! Thanks so ! Love the black and navy halter dresses and light blue and white striped halter the end . Actually loved color of mid tone violet later in video on you so might get dress for the color! Looked great with jacket! at the
Nice haul Theresa! I like the last dress, the black one! I think you look best in navy blue and jewel tones! They compliment your skin tone! Lighter colors tend to wash you out! Black looks good too!❤️
Crazily enough, the jean jacket redeems any draw backs on all the dresses, imo. Having said that, the ones that are not made of a knit fabric are my favorites, excluding the Pillsbury dough boy one of course.
Walmart has some nice dresses this season. I may try to follow line dry instructions but usually give up after a while, hope for the best, and toss it in the dryer. So far I think that has worked out just fine. Very nice video, thank you!
I do the same thing! I start out trying to be stick to the care instructions, but then I'm in a rush doing laundry while multi tasking one day, and it all goes out the window LOL

Great job Theresa. Thanks for sharing. I am pretty sure I agree with you on every dress. I would like to know what bra you wore with the halter tops. ❤😊
Hi Jeanie - aww thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments. I've had the strapless bra that I'm wearing with the halter style dresses for YEARS, here's one by the same brand amzn.to/4aMmMU4
Hi Theresa. I really enjoy your videos and find them helpful. I really appreciate that you include the care instructions because I am a "throw it in the dryer" person, too! Looking forward to your next video!
Thanks for your review. I appreciate your time and effort. I am 62 and there is no way I am wearing a strapless bra anymore. Too many of these required one. The jean jacket addition is a great look.

Hi Theresa! I liked all the dresses on you with the exception of the clingy/knit ones. Those are hard to pull off unless you have zero lumps & bumps! I think the "fail" white dress has potential IF the bodice was better fitting and if it had a lining. I like the way the white dresses look with the added belt & denim jacket 😀
I love your honesty. It makes shopping much easier to hear from you first. My Walmart purchases online are hit or miss size wise. Not sure if I will still purchase from them as it gets frustrating, especially if I'm buying for an event. Thanks for an informative, interesting video!
The one I like the most is the boho green dress, cute and can be versatile on a trip. The others I would leave, some were cute but to young for me. You look great in all of them but some were too young looking like I mentioned. Great video!
Keep the green dress, the white eyelet dress, the black halter with the pockets, the long, striped keyhole dress, The black Free Assembly, Chuck the rest 😘
Only the green and striped blue and last black ones I love. If only the first white dress was longer 😞 At my age (63) I’m definitely not a fan of the shorter dresses (above knee), spaghetti straps nor the T-shirt dresses that don’t flatter anything. I’m like if I gotta dress it up with a belt or jkt or sweater then what’s the point. You on the other hand look good in all of them!
lol. I don’t like to iron, but I will get out the handheld steamer if necessary. I line dry a lot of tops and pants to preserve the size and color. This is the first time I have been interested in getting a dress in years and years, mainly because the maxi lengths are once again in style and I have an occasion to wear one. Thanks for posting! I really enjoy your low-key videos and your subtle sense of humor.
Dress #1--almost no. Too young, like a girls' pinafore. #2 yes, a keeper. #3 Leave it. #4 is good. Your top is really cute too. #5 Is a keeper, especially the bright colored one. #6 Leave it. #7 Leave it unless you wear as a nightgown. #8 I'm thinking as a swimsuit cover up. #9 On the fence. #10 is a keeper. #11 is a keeper. Thanks for finding these!! 💐
I would personally do a pass on all of these dresses. Most of them seem to accentuate the bust and as a top heavy girl, that is never a look I go for. But, thanks for showing us things that I know to bypass in WM. I do like to wear dresses/skirts in the summer as I find them cooler than slacks and some places you just cannot wear shorts..
Thanks for this video! I like all of the dresses that you can wear a sports bra with. (they have wider straps). Will not look at dresses that have skinny straps or need a strapless bra. They look cute on you though!
I love your descriptions! I think first dress may look even better in darker color-The halter knit and last dress were great!I and the boho. I think some of styles are more for the younger and higher and tighter crowd. I struggle with losing the waist and hips. I am tall and thin and get lost is some of these styles. But I love your channel! You have such a lovely way about you. ❤
I always enjoy your videos. I agree about the pockets on the lilac one - but if I really like a dress like that I’ll remove them and sew the side seams up. I’m so partial to white dresses but the first one would be too high on ME. Not you 😂!! I loved the longer white one. I usually have to have some sun in order to wear it. I do work as well as attend church so I have more occasions to wear dresses. Especially when it gets so hot in the south. I never trust clothes in the dryer. I have a collapsing clothes line that I can take things outside (after pollen season) to dry. A quick fluff in the dryer helps The black one (around the 13 minute mark) just looked so comfortable for summer. I purchased the raffia purse last year based on your suggestions. It’s very cute. I have seen the last blue dress in stores but i wasn’t blown away by it. Which is odd because I really like it on you! Thanks for posting. Have a nice weekend! ❤
The only two I liked were the olive green with the banding at the bottom and the light blue seer sucker dress at the end. The others were a definite no. I love your videos Theresa and have watched you from the beginning. I appreciate your frank and honest opinions. ❤❤❤❤
Hey Theresa. The only couple dresses I didn’t like was the lite purple with pockets. The first whit one was ok. I loved the longer white but you just needed to size up one time. I couldn’t see thru that dress. Actually the last one that was black by free assembly I loved. The green border one is also a keeper. I just ordered that one & the free assembly one in the off white with the black stripes bc they were out of the other 2 colors. I will check back bc I love all the colors in that one. You look great in all of them. I know those pockets in the fitted dresses shouldn’t be there. I hope I was a help. Have a wonderful week. Melba Knoxville Tennessee 🦋🦋🦋🦋
Loved most of the dresses on you. Not the voluminous black one, lavender knit and other knit one. The knot makes them look cheap on my opinion. Walmart makes great dresses and I think the cotton poplin ones look the best and the most flattering. ❤
Thank you for the video. Lots of pretty options. I just wish the tiered skirts would go away. They look so bad on me, almost always highlights my mom belly.
Hi Theresa!! I agree with you about the pockets on the 2 more body skimming dresses. Luv pockets with dresses that have a full skirt. Went to the website and purchased the last T&T dress. When I saw it on you had to grab the green one. Theresa, can you recommend a strapless or convertible bra? Thanks again and enjoy the week ahead. 🌞🌻
Thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments. When I ordered the dresses online, I thought they would fit more at the natural waist. This is why I pointed it out, these dresses would come even higher-up on broad shouldered or long waisted ladies, right?
The Honorable Mention was looking great on you. It's too short for me but I hate my knees. I appreciate your details like what material it is. I liked the peachy one until u stated it was 95%rayon, rayon usually wrinkles so I avoid a high rayon count at all costs. Thanks Theresa!!
Hi Theresa. I’m with you in the like and forget em dresses. Some like you pointed out just too clingy at the pocket and hip areas. Otherwise I really like all the natural cotton fabric that they been putting out. Thanks for sharing again. ❤
The pink dress - long tshirt style w pockets - was not too bad at all, but I can see why you would decide against it (the pockets not laying flat are kind of a deal breaker). Nevertheless, I actually love a drop shoulder for the very reasons u state: I have strong, broad shoulders - which I actually like for myself - but because I wear a size small, shoulder seams on dresses/tops are often too narrow; so when I read “drop sleeve” in a garment description, I feel confident that I’ll get a good fit.
I liked the green dress with the border print (I'd like the navy in that) and the black dress with the halter type top. One question, is there a bra you recommend for dresses like that? I don't like bra straps showing and wouldn't wear those dresses without one.
Thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments! Here are links to my favorite traditional & strapless bras. My GO TO Bra for a smooth uplift amzn.to/48XVGsz My GO TO Strapless Bra amzn.to/4aMmMU4
Don't care for the first white dress. I think so few older women can pull this color off in a dress, but do like the coral one that you said they were out of in your size. Don't like the second or third white dress at all! Maybe ok if you are twenty something. I really LIKE the last dress, black dress with sleeves just above elbow, my FAVOURITE dress of all dresses you showed or the only dress I would buy for myself. You saved the best for last (well..for me anyway and I'm not even a dress person for the most part.) 😊
Hi Theresa. I agree with your assessment of each dress. A few are really standouts though, especially the second one. It looks Grecian and belongs on a trip to Greece! P.S. What’s an iron? 🤔
Yesh I didnt care for any of these dresses. Seems like Walmart is throwing everything up against a wall to see what sticks. Those are some sad excuses for dresses. If i had a nice shape like you i’d definitely go somewhere else for my dresses. Thanks for the video.
Most of the dresses were keepers in my opinion. I will say if you go up a size in the two clinging dresses, they may be too big in the shoulders. I have that problem because i am not busty at all, and i have narrow shoulders. As for ironing, i don't even own an iron 😂.
Love all the dresses, except the pink onr!! lol Seems like too flimsy material. The second white dress, again is a material problem. My favorite is the black dress!
This is the first time I’ve ever seen your videos. You did a fantastic job of modeling the dresses and describing the pros and cons, the feel, etc. You have a real world body that us ladies can relate to. I LOVE the way you split screen to show the bodice details! You keep it moving when you speak, so I didn’t get bored, and you’re a little funny in the right places. 😊 Love the way you dress up the items with a belt and a jacket. Great job all the way around! The *only* suggestion I would give you is don’t pop your foot on every turn. Do it on the first turn and then “leave it”. 😄😁 After that, be a little more fluid in your movement. Thx for your critiques! I bought the dress you wore in your PJs review. I got the cream one for $19.60. Hope it works well for me. 🤞🏼 Take care!
WELCOME! Thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments. Your kindness really made my day :). When I'm filming a video, I try to answer all of the quesitons that I would have it I saw an item online, if that makes sense. Warm regards, Theresa
I am so sick of ruffles! Especially for those of us over 60! I've tried most of these dresses and none worked on my size 14-16 body. Do you wear strapless bras? I can't find one that works for me.
Hi Debra - thanks so much for watching. This is my go-to strapless bra amzn.to/4aMmMU4 Generally, I only wear an outfit that requires a strapless bra when I am going somewhere for just a couple of hours. Honestly, I have yet to find a strapless bra that is truly comfortable for all day wear.
I live dresses in summer, but lately Walmart dresses mostly feel too young for me often with no sleeves or that silly flutter sleeve. I don't like my arms so many of these dresses are a hard no for me. Don't care for the maxi dress either.
I Really Don’t like Walmart clothing. If I’m in need of a dress I certainly wouldn’t go to Walmart. I’d rather go to Target, TJ Maxx or Ross. However I appreciate your video.
Hi Diana - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments. Although I try to show all of the Walmart dresses each season, if I'm looking for a dress for a special ocassion I will really shop around. Some of my go-to stores for dresses are JCPenney, Kohls, Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Boscovs. I will say that I rarely find a dress that works for me at Target for some reason.
I've never been fond of dresses. That being said, I did try to wear them one summer around the house and while I was gardening. That turned out to be a disaster. I was hoeing in my garden when something flew up my dress and in a panic I ran across my yard with my dress above my waist waving it wildly to shake out any stinging thing that may still be there. How embarrassing! But I can't just blame the dress, I decided that I would wear light weight flare leg jeans from Walmart, to garden in, to avoid the ''bee in my dress scenario" and a bee flew up the my pants leg and continued to crawl up my leg! While screaming, I unbuttoned my pants and pulled them down and began hopping , shuffling, running, trying not to fall .....but alas....I got stung on the thigh. You just got to love bees..... Now I wear cheap leggings around the house and outside, because surely a bee cannot fly inside of them. Now overall I dislike dresses for myself . But if you feel comfy in a dress, I admire you! I think the Olive Green border print looked gorgeous. That one was my favorite, and it looks great on you. The fabric, the shape the length and the pattern and color were right on the money.
Honestly, I think the lavender you didn't like was most flattering because the belt was at your natural waist. Also, I like the short-sleeved t-shirt style better than any of the skinny strap ones. The green dress is pretty enough, also. But for a person who wears a size small, most of these dresses made you look short and chunky. The blue stripe is a little more longating, but if you can see yourself from the back, it does nothing to strengthen your shoulder. It makes them look rounded, which I don't think is a look you'd be going for. I've seen you in enough pretty, flattering clothes to know these are not doing you any favors. That said, the little black one at the end is cute and flattering on you.
Thank you! But the two dresses I liked best, you didn't! I'm too old for halter. Plus I really like regular bra friendly clothes. Keep em coming please!
I don't care for the navy blue halter dress. Too much full material if you are under 5' 4" which I am, being only 5' 1" and would overwhelm a short heighted woman.
I just wish these dresses were make with sleeves.
Agree
You'll notice all are made with minimal construction. Cheaper, takes less time.
Theresa! I love you and all of your videos. But , frankly I'm not a fan of most Walmart dresses. The only one I'll give love to is the green border print dress. You wore that one very well, and I think most women would too. Thanks so much, and looking forward to your next one! ❤
I've been waiting for your video to post, so now I will go down and watch it on our big screen TV. Always enjoy your videos!
Like everything. Thank you 💕 so much ❤️
I like the (full) navy one and the green one. Also, my favorite words are MWTD (machine wash/tumble dry!)
The dress from free assembly is the most flattering on you
As for me, I would send them all back. The only thing I liked were the colors and they had pockets....which didn't always work out well. I have to say that black suits you immensely! Every black dress you wore, especially the last one, looked marvelous on you!
The violet maxi dress is nice.
Cotton in dryer low heat for maybe 3 minutes to maybe help get a few wrinkles out but definitely watch it close.
Actually all the dresses looked great on you. My favorites are the navy halter, the black long halter, the white tiered eyelet dress was gorgeous and I LOVE the Free Assembly dress. 💐🌺🌹 thank you for another excellent video.

You look very good for 61.I just turned 60 and thought you were early 50s.Love the videos and comments about the clothing.
Crazily enough, the jean jacket redeems any draw backs on all the dresses, imo.
Having said that, the ones that are not made of a knit fabric are my favorites, excluding the Pillsbury dough boy one of course.
You looked fantastic ❤
I really like ever single one. Thank you ❤😊😊
Walmart has some nice dresses this season.
Cute Teresa. I like the blue white dress was cute plus the first white dress.
Since you asked - no knits and nothing shorter than midi. Yes, white can be troublesomely show-through. My solution (pun intended) is dye in the washing-machine. Since I haven't a dryer, I save money on electricity and my clothes stay in better condition. Theresa, you've motivated me to see which of these dresses are to be found in Canadian Walmarts. Thanks!
The green boho one is cute, but I’d have to cover my arms. I love anything boho.
I agree with Terry Sue (above). I like ass of the dresses on you ! But I only wear dresses that don’t show bra straps so that eliminates most of those shown. Thanks for showing so many dresses 👗
Love it
I loved the green, black, and blue/white halter dresses
The lavender color is pretty in you.
Great video! My favorite is the first one. I bought it in the pale blue and white stripes and loved it so much I ordered the navy floral.
Great job Theresa. Thanks for sharing. I am pretty sure I agree with you on every dress. I would like to know what bra you wore with the halter tops. ❤😊

Hi Tammy - I actually have a dress on in the the thumbnail photo for this video. I show the dress full length in the video. I hope this helps!

I don’t know why Time and Tru’s dresses often have a high waist. I am not sure who this is supposed to fit.

I often have the same issue. Because I have narrow shoulders, if I go up a size, then the top is too big. Arrrgghh
Same here! And if it’s sleeveless, the armholes will show more of your bra. You’re danged if you do, and danged if you don’t. lol

The green border print dress in the link has a different front neckline than yours. I like yours better but wish the front and back were the same.
Hi Kristin - thanks so much for watching! I noticed that on the Walmart website, not sure why it shows completely different neckline?
Hi Theresa Rayon span is a no for me It shows all my lumps and bumps Lavender is a good color for you ❤
Even the jean jacket doesn't help that knit dress.
Right?!
Why are the waists so high?
Hi Eileen - thanks so much for watching. Honestly, I wondered that myself.
An elastic waist only looks good on very thin people
Depends on the body shape more than the weight 😀
Like 1, 2 (?), 4, 5, 9, 10
The black halter dress toward the end was the only dress I liked. Not a fan of the rest.
Leave the dark lavender ? dress.
Hi Mareen - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments :)
You have to keep the green dress. It's very becoming on you. The rest of them, I would size up and see if they look any different.
No on the second white dress.
I agree, that one was ill fitting
Oh my! 😆 🤣 😂
Only the green one ,don’t like short dresses too girly
Can't do ruffles and flutters are ruffles, I'm plain V neck or button down.
@5:48 Your shoulders are fine. The dress is beautiful ❤on you.
Hello 50 is not old , it depends on who's wearing what , some people make themselves old looking.
TRUTH! I am 61 (about to turn 62) and I am open to wearing current styles :)
Wearing "mature" or matronly clothing ages us.
I do not iron anything
SAME!
Hi Janice - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments 😀
Is that a window behind you 😂
It's a photo backdrop. The blank wall in the small area that I film in needed jazzed up 😆 🤣 😂
I ignore 🤷♀️😁
Same girl! lol
Wash dry read directions don't follow. The prices are creeping up loved the first dress and first white one
Thank you! But the two dresses I liked best, you didn't! I'm too old for halter. Plus I really like regular bra friendly clothes. Keep em coming please!
#1 Leave it #3 leave it # 4 Leave it i don't like green # 5 Leave it
Hard to see detail on that white backdrop
It's a battle. When I use a colored background, it distracts from the pieces. I show a lot of closeups to compensate :)
No on the white dress.
I did return that one :)
I don't care for the navy blue halter dress. Too much full material if you are under 5' 4" which I am, being only 5' 1" and would overwhelm a short heighted woman.
