Just picked one up specifically for the rail. The Streamlight TLR VIR II only works on these. Basically one of the few vis and IR systems that isn't crazy expensive, has decent bore axis, and works with most TLR style holsters. It also switches between vis and IR quickly and easily. Hope to shoot it next week on a day off.
Just go buy a Aim surplus ported barrel! I have their coffin cut rmr cut slide and ported barrel and put a 15 lb recoil spring on it and its ran like a clock and accurate on my SCT 19!
You should get some of that copper gun lube for new guns, the stuff Glock uses. I'd be curious if it really makes a difference, if its gritty nature polishes metal on metal areas with use.. From what I understand your not supposed to clean it out, your supposed to run a certain number of rounds with that grease for break-in period then clean and re-lube
Enjoying your videos. I am also a leftie shooter. I recently got the sct17 frame and I’m surprised how thick it feels. I have Smaller size hand. I Was wanting to build a competition, g34 but I think I like the P80 better than any of them. Idk yet haven’t shot the sct. Very good videos man.
I highly suggest getting one of the BUL Armory AXE gen 3 clones. I got the Cleaver C, which is just the 19 being C for compact I guess. Point is the beaver tail grip is the best glock factor one I have felt, but I haven't got a lot of Glock experience. The Cleaver line I felt it was the best price and performance for a Glock Gen 3 clone. Great trigger. Only thing I changed was I got the Griffin Armorment threaded barrel. Want to put nite sites on it!
2:13 AYE-FUCKING-MEN, BROTHER! It continues to boggle the ever-loving fuck out of me that aftermarket glock frame vendors use 1913 rails when the patent on the universal rail expired years ago. It's almost as if "market research" and "gun industry" are two words that are not allowed to be used in the same sentence.
Would switching the mag release for the oem glock one fix the issue of the mags not falling? I have a sct17 and it does the same thing unless I really press that button all the way in. oem mag catches are cheap
Yes, I believe it would. I haven’t messed with it yet, but I’m assuming it’s the dog crap parts they’re using just really suck and Glock OEM or aftermarket better parts would be good
@@shootintheshtpodcast Can confirm, swapping to the OEM mag release fixes this. I also put the extended slide release on since the aggressive relief-cut around it made the non-extended tough to use - those two changes and it runs like a top and functions well - still waiting for word of when a magwell for the SCT 17 will become available.
Give me a minute I actually have this frame I managed to fit an aftermarket magwell but I’m going to order the tyrant design generation three magwell and if I can get it to fit, I’ll let you know

Tier 1 has confirmed, these fit in their P80 holsters 👍🏼
Thank you
Will it fit in any of their light bearing holsters?
I bought a T1 holster for Glock 19 gen 4 with surefire x300b and it did not fit correctly. Could have managed but not good for edc.
If it’s P80 based yes, Glock no
Still NO MAGWELL for the SCT17.. Bummer
That's what I'm looking for.. I emailed SCT twice with zero replies. Hopefully someone comes out with one.
@@technicaldifficulties2522 they have on for 30 or 40 dollars.
Still no magwells for the 17 or the 43@@technicaldifficulties2522
@hormonesmatterPhD hoping someone creates a file to at least print a magwell as a "Fer-Now".
Maybe you know now but if you don't they're on ebay..

No, I’ve never used it, if it comes on a Glock I always strip it and lube it, then do what I showed you guys at the end of the video

Thank you, I haven’t run the P80 stuff but I like the SCT-17 so far. I’ll let you know more soon

I have the Bul full size hatchet. It’s my carry and I love it!!!
Still looking for a magwell sadly
Same...
Hopelessly searching for a new frame for a G22
Will a G17 frame work?
What options and brands? I do not want OEM (got that already)
I have no idea what will fit a 22
@shootintheshtpodcast Well that's a lot of help. Appreciate it greatly!
@@smokeybremen my apologies, I did read the 22 you’ll need to swap the ejector. But they are the same frame
Anyone have any ideal when and if there will be a SCT 17 Magwell?
I think it might be able to use the 19 magwell

Dude the pic rail on the bottom is a freakin hassle. And I feel you on gun companies and market research

SCT firearms I do believe makes the Magwell for it.. I put a strike 80 magwell on my sct and it works too!
I see one for the sct19 only. One is in the works supposedly for the sct17 @@larryw5429
@@larryw5429 I think I have to try that.
What are those block things on the trigger guard for?
You’re gonna have to ask me that on sunday
So you have 19 slide on this
No, a 17 slide
What purple trigger is that
