You mean the mission that's in every Ace Combat game where you have to fly into and through a several mile long tunnel with 3 ft of clearance on all sides while being shot at/trying to shoot down an enemy with superior mobility? Yes, I can't wait
Water everywhere, tons of ships, weather that was probably handcrafted by Satan himself? That one was the worst for me. The amount of times I've turned my plane into a submarine on that mission was... Embarassing.
Can we expect a main channel video on this game? Ace Combat is one of my favourite game series so naturally I loved this too. Love the fact this game is still getting some love from creators.
Bricky - every case of people disliking mercenaries in that universe comes from one silly misunderstanding, namely a few mercenry companies formed a coalition and tried to genocide and conquer Australia in order to build a medieval Switzerland style mercenary country.
Just so you know, much of the writing came from a guy who made a fanfic about Gate: Thus the JSDF Fought There. That should really tell you on what to expect.
@@mistadangerzone8362 Gate to unknown fantasy world opened in Modern Day Japan which then got invaded by people of SAID Fantasy World, JSDF goes in to stop further incursions: Techology Ensues.
The writing in project wingman is actually pretty good I’d say. Because while in the surface level it’s very goofy and such, the moment you look deeper it’s actually a story of opposite ideologies and their embodiments, Monarch and Crimson. Freedom vs Order Freedom vs safety The inevitability of conflict and war due to a conflict of ideals and how any victories won now will need to be won again in 50, 100, 400 years even. Kinda how these games go though, deal with deep as the ocean themes all while making you dodge the entire budget of the United States air force
0:00 I'm pretty sure it's a reference to Ace Combat Zero (since the final boss of that game tries to nuke the entire world for the sake of eliminating country borders)
2:09 I think that's the Draken, a Swedish fighter design. Well okay, a legally distinct look alike in a post post apocalyptic world. Hope you've been staying warm with all the weather. Not sure where you live, or when exactly this was recorded, but I do hope you're handling weather okay. Well the Calamity was centered on the Pacific Rim and Wyoming, so Rome was pretty far from ground zero, but we're still talking about mass eruption of the Ring of Fire and the Yellowstone going off, so.... maybe. Rome MAY still be around. Probably a bit worse for wear though if it is. Pretty sure WSO means weapon station operator or something close. Terrain got a bit bent out of shape bey the massed volcanic detonations. SU-25. Russian. CAS. Close Air Support. Attack Plane. MANPADS MAN Portable Air Defense Systems. Like Stinger Missiles.
I'm excited to watch bricky play this but the Chat needs to tell him how to switch targets for his missles. Hopefully they will soon. I'm more excited for him to get to the big story sequences... and Crimson 1 Edit: so I watched more of the video around the end and it looks like he does know to switch targets. Crisis averted thankfully. I'm still excited for this playthrough.
Bricky had me yelling at my screen when he went past the Arrow for that ugly ass soviet hunk of junk. Thank the Emperor that he had the good sense to go back.
Oh boy if Bricky gets this nervous when flying *that* close to the ground, I can’t wait till he gets to the... Spicy mission

Briefing: Don't damage the airstrip
Bricky: Best I can do is "large unguided bomb"
The moment I open the video: “No borders”
_laughs in Ace Combat 0_
THAT'S WHAT V2 IS FOR
It's good to be among my fellow aces
Remember: no borders.
THIS TWISTED GAME NEEDS TO BE RESET
you can tell Bricky's a gamer by the fact that he rotates his head in the direction he's going.
If you don't, you're not gaming hard enough.
"Why is there so much ORANGE?"
Oh you sweet summer child, bricky.

See Bricky having moral dilemmas is really funny and also bring back many Ace Combat moments
Once you get the F14, stick with it as long as possible. It’s a 2 seater, and probably the best one, so you get prez as a RIO

Could you elaborate? Idk what gate is
@@mistadangerzone8362 Gate to unknown fantasy world opened in Modern Day Japan which then got invaded by people of SAID Fantasy World, JSDF goes in to stop further incursions: Techology Ensues.
Wasn't the guy who wrote Gate ex-JSDF himself or something? That or he had immediate family who was in it?
@@typeoddnamehere2362 Yeah the writer is Ex-JSDF

Before each mission, the briefing screen will tell you how much air/ground targets you're about to fight so you can pick your loadout according
MANPADS: MAN-Portable Air Defense System. Often refers to Stinger Missiles, Javelins or other Infantry Grade Missile Launchers.
Bricky brings an interceptor to a ground attack mission over a CAS aircraft (SK-25) and then wonders why he’s having trouble with ground targets
"Oh I can double lock" Oh man I can't wait for Bricky to beat the game and get the plane that just locks everything lol
Always happy to receive more bricky content :)
Bricky: "Why is there so much ORANGE?"
Me: oh no no no no xD
MST3k fans everywhere giggling at "Rowsdower AFB".

8:17 hahahahahahahahaha. Ah. I love this man. This is how you deal with backseat gaming lmao.
We Californians finally had enough
Oh boy it's brikys turn to commit war crimes [ entire ace combat community]
