Why is Ben Holladay marked up? I got the soft red wheat rickhouse a couple of months ago for like $60. That's crazy.

Middlewest Spirits makes some good stuff. The pumpernickel rye is really good and I’m not a rye guy. Definitely worth a pick up.

13th Colony is one of my favorites...was at their distillery for the 3rd time last week...always a great time...will be going back again soon
Great video. I would have gotten the Eagle Rare store pick too. Casey Jones is distilled in Hopkinsville Kentucky, about 30 miles from me. Not great whiskey yet, but I do have a store pick of it that has a very Tootsie Roll flavor note to it.

Live 30 min from that store and one trip was enough. Wasnt impressed enough with selection or pricing to ever waste my time going back. Several other stores within same distance of me with better selections and pricing.

Interestingly tje store pick eagle rare was by far the best priced in that store.
Awesome hunt Carlos. That Middlewest if it was the pumpernickel rye, it’s actually really good. It’s a very interesting pour and unique. Sean with Echoes in Eternity Bourbon sent me a sample and I really enjoyed it. We go to GA twice a year to visit family, so that’s when I find some really good bottles and stock up on ER.

Excellent hunt Carlos. Can't ever go wrong with ER store picks for under $50. Try to sample the Blade & Bow before you buy it. One of my bigger letdowns from the past few years.
Ben Holiday Rickhouse is $60 here in Texas...don't over pay for that juice. I have it, it's good at $60, but I would not pay over $70.
If you like malt the ASW Duality is good, especially the cask strength. If malt isn't your thing stick with the Fiddler. 😎Personally I enjoy the duality a lot.🥃

Nice video Carlos. Heaven Hill BIB for $60? 😳 It has been $42 by me for months and a local store just put them on sale for $37. Never have seen an Eagle Rare Store Pick. Very nice! Ben Holladay Rickhouse are $80 by me. I picked up the Yellowstone Toasted for $50 and it is pretty good. 🥃
Distribution and pricing is crazy. I can get Ben Holladay Rickhouse Proof for around $70 and it’s just sitting out on the shelf, but I never see Eagle Rare. What’s the availability and price of Eagle Rare in Florida? Do you ever see Russell’s Reserve 13?
My LLS gets Eagle Rare fairly often for around $40 down here in Miami. RR13 ends up at Museum prices just about everywhere

The Ben Holladay is really, really good- but…. It’s priced at $90-100 over the local prices. Crazy high, unless I’m missing something specific about those two.

In CA, it's funny how I can find Sazarac Rye so easily but can't find Eagle Rare.
That’s how it is here in Florida. I can even get it at $28 at Sam club but it’s very difficult to find Eagle rare and even more difficult to find it at a reasonable price. Thanks for watching, cheers 🥃
