nah, pan did tell them that the plant was extremely deadly and Liam decided to not listen to his brother saying that pan was telling the truth, not saying pan was a good person, but sometimes the villain tells the truth, and the hero does not want to listen.

Peter Pan warned them not to leave before they payed the price and they did (once again because the older brother doesn’t listen and insists on being a dumbass). As a result on their way out the brother that was healed by the springs was affected by the poison again and died anyway. So now Kilian is trapped here by himself
