Great game mechanics! I know there are some complaints about the amount of tedious work involved in some of the game play, the debris nest particularly, but people have to remember this game gives a real-life perspective of the struggle of survival. Many people clamor for more paleo-accurate representation and frankly this is pretty dang accurate.
Takes a bit to long, as feeding 1 big carnivore alone already is pain enough but 2? Overall that’s how it is atm: People nest for the first time and after 1-2min it’s already a bad experience for them to never touch nesting again. People will just juvie spawn litterly almost right next to it, so getting rid of selectable spawn location will make it actually useful. Actually there are multiple reasons why spawn selection is bad, 1 very being Teamers that talk in voice chat: „alright let’s all spawn north west… I will be pachy, I will be Utah, me Petra, I stego“ without spawn selection it’s still a thing but it takes way longer and if they wanna play together in under 20 min than they should nest everyone
its great for people that just wanna make a big family and wanna protect their kids kinda way of play. i didnt try it yet. but i gues i wil enjoy it. on the old branch all you do is sit and watch your screen for an hour to incubate eggs, just like everything on the old branch. it only gets fun once your 100% adult exept when you have a family to run with.
Why is people spawning in the same area a bad thing? looking for others to herd with is already a massive pain, whats wrong with people pre orchestrating it?
They didn’t need to make deino nest building so tedious. Crocodilians just pile up all the near by leaves and dirt and lay their eggs inside or dig underground nests. They don’t pick up sticks for their nests as far as I know.
@@Kogasengaha_Hishoshi Id like to know what species gathers sticks like they made Deino. But from what I know they probably did the most energy efficient method.
@@alloraptorgen2 Other than ingame stuff ect Yes they did the most efficient thing and not go running all over the place like the video XD. But close sticks on the shore near the banks, Tall grasses and cattails. I believe but don't quote me, some alligators do this and Nile or Salties do? But it might also be more of a situational thing but I do think its more of a gator thing.
@@Kogasengaha_Hishoshi Iv seen gator nests in person. They literally use all the leaf litter, pine needles, dirt, etc they can find and push it all together in a mound. I don’t think they use their mouths tho. I think they use their tails and feet.
@@alloraptorgen2 Well ya but the concept is the same/ what I was tryna explain but overall the general idea is the same. Besides the ingame stuff being game stuff lol
Ok I know how making stick nests is cool because dinosaurs are related to birds but why do deinos have to also make a stick nest can't they be a normall croc and lay eggs in a hole in the ground or something
@@erictexeira4679 This is Evrima which still isn't the main branch but Legacy ( the old branch ) has been abandoned and will eventually get permanently deleted and Evrima will become the main branch. All of this is in game.
I havnt played the usle in what ..like 2-3 years (because I play too much warthunder now) I don't know if I should play it again but it doesn't look like a lot of progress has been made..
Do you need both parents to make eggs or is female able to do everything by herself? It would be great if u have to find a mate and actually mate to get eggs. And have mixes of skins for children
As I finall have a PC to run EVRIMA, I come back and find this. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the female has better diet than male there will be more eggs but they will be bad. If male has more than female there will be less eggs but guaranteed to be good. if both has the best diet there will be max eggs thats all good. once all eggs are used female can make more eggs or if they desire they can bite the nest till the eggs disapear then lay eggs again. hope this helps!
PRetty cool BUT it feels overly complex just to be killed in the process. Feels more like a chore and needs studying than just a video game. I just prefer spawn fresh Juvie than being nested. But I guess people like this feature for some reason but people that love killing players will enjoy making the lives of nesters a living hell.
but you dont have to nest people in. i think its cool. im more of an old branch fan but i gues when i get sick of the old branch. doing nothing all day just watching my screen to see eggs incubate for an hour i can always try evrima. its an option, not a must.
Could u make a guide on carno ? Cuz due to how much u guys shat on it with the Updates noone knows how to 1v1 tenos anymore, Especially cuz u made the charge absolutely useless
Nice video but get it finally times to bring updates faster... and does not always show videos of dinos that take ages until they are out... you can really let... Marketing you get a 6 from me... Tutorial videos come discreetly too late I would say ? I would have brought directly to the release.
I would rather the devs either leave the Utah as it is, or delete it when they release the new one, but naw, we have to be stuck with the goofy 'omniraptor' name. I literally don't even care about the model or playstyle. I'm just annoyed that we have to be stuck with this stupid name. Anyway. The Isle uploaded a guide?!?!?!? WoOoOw

I thought like they even delved a little deeper
Very nice! Can't wait to see more dinos with this mechanic
this is gonna be quite good for more complicated systems in the future! will make learning a whole lot easier
These guide videos are super helpful! 😁
They really expect us to be doing this without the anxiety of getting KOed by everything that breathes
You just gotta pick a smart spot for your nest. Or be a pterra or stego lol
I don’t know about you Kilathasaurus, but I wouldn’t be building a nest right next to south plains or somewhere similar lol
This game is becoming something so beautiful
Great work! Would love to see more like these :D

"SOME" Crocs of course build up these mounds (similar to what is ingame so they thought up inspiration) and some leave em quite literally in the dirt.
