It's a cover, not a copy, Brandon and the boys are paying homage to the original, not stealing it. b) to say the Killers blow is just down right ignorant, if you were to say "I don't like that band" I can 100 percent respect that, but for reasons unknown to say they blow is just wrong. If you were to say to me "what's all the hot fuss about the Killers, I don't get that band" I can respect that as well. Now, if you want my opinion of that cover, remember I've been a friend of the band since day 1, I think it's a little flat myself, but I applaud their effort for giving the song their just props singing it with their spin. That cover was Brandon and Dave's saying great tune.

What better thing for a 'Rock Band' to do, than cover music from when rock bands truly existed, truly meant something and the limits of the genre had yet to be reached. Playing at being a rock star by covering the music probably helps feed your delusion. ...I'm off now ..to paint sunflowers
they probably got asked to do it by the movie...plus they have a lot of good songs and they are a rock band...some may like them or not but they still are
