You just cant do this song without the big sharp guitar. It needs that sound. listen to the way the original version announces the beginning of the song. Thst was a huge part of it. Its just not the same without it.

This is some song. I've listened to the original and there's virtually no difference to the original from The Raspberries. Crackin' song. I heard this on the film Dark Shadows a few nights ago and had to find out who were the performers.

This is by far, my favorite cover of this song. After listening to it probably 50+ times, I realize it's because they put their own spin and sound in singing the verses but the chorus channels Eric Carmen's voice a tad bit...modern but nostalgic at the same time...love it!

When I heard this version at the end of Dark Shadows, I was curious who it was that performed it, because it was fantastic. I was blown away that it was The Killers, they absolutely did this song justice.
