Haha! I love you kept the blooper in the beginning. Its the first one I've seen from you and is very light hearted. It makes you feel human. Much appreciated.

My wife, who is the editor, has full power on what stays in. (I think she is trying to deflate my ego) 🙂

That's crazy, we're just talking about this in our high energy astrophysics class. Thanks for this, Michel.

I don't know why it took me till now to notice the personality in your bow ties! Looking between physics, astrophysics, and mechanical engineering tabs, I happened to notice. Very cool detail! I actually really like this white one. Bold while humble. Elegant display of class. Maybe I'm reading into the bowtie lore too much, but I enjoy it as something to be spotting in the future!

One thing to point out here... probably better to speak of hotter/cooler rather than larger/smaller. It's the surface temps of the stars that determines the primary eclipse and the secondary eclipse.
For example, if we have white/blue star orbiting a giant star, the primary eclipse will occur when the smaller start ( the white/blue one) is eclipsed by the larger but cooler giant star.
When we're talking about two main sequence stars, your example is spot on b/c surface temp will be directly proportional to the radius. Just wanted to point out that there is a significant edge case.

Can you send me a link of the validation of eclipsing binaries? I can't seen to find it in the playlist. Thank you!
