I was THERE...Sat. was the most crowded in 47 years...and it was HOT! took an hour just to get a slice of pizza..but it was great !
Yeah, had some comments about not many people but Saturday the Ticket booth was loaded and like you said the food lines were packed

Exhibitors take notice, every display needs a plain to read banner stretched in front of their exhibit so when this kind fella walks by shooting, the rest of us know what we are looking at.

After 7 trips to OshKosh, Airventure,, Sun-N-Fun was a real let down,,, Museum was closed, if you wanted to buy a T-Shirt you had to wear a MASK!!!

@@GyroGerald My father learned to fly at Lakeland with the U.S Army Air Corps in 1941 on Stearman's,he joined the RAF but the weather was so bad for flying in the UK that year that they shipped him to Florida with others on a troopship to fly on the Hap Arnold scheme,that is why Sun N Fun is so special to me,he went onto fly Lancaster's.

So if someone can fly fixed wing how hard is it to fly the gyro copter?
Easy breezy. Plus you just have to get a gyro add on. You will fly plane to get from point A to point B, but you will fly a gyro for FUN. Super agile and no stall speed makes for low flying fun

Like gyros much , and blowing by aircraft Would of been nice pan around when you were in the light sport area instead of gyros and 2/3 scale p-51

People make such a big deal over that "jet mobile" shown in the very first clip, even the airshow announcers are making a fuss over it when it drives up and down the runway, but anyone who's been going to sun n fun for awhile knows that's just the dumbest thing ever, nevermind the fact its riding on a 2 seater electric golf cart chassis.

There are no people
well there wasn't as many people as the year before covid but, there was still a packed crowd around the big planes and for the show.
The media panicked the public into thinking the flu was gonna kill everybody unless you wear a face diaper and stay home.
@@gyrojeffro2263 haha yeah, didn't stop my 81 year old dad from living and working. If you took care of yourself covid isn't going to take you.
@@ThePinkPanth3r yeah and I only saw a handful of mask wearing so half of Lakeland should be in the Hospital Tomorrow, SMH.

Very sparse crowds compared to previous years. Daily ticket prices went up to $40. Hope all those people were vaccinated.
Private aviation is dead! Just get a drone and be happy!
I have tried to find a small used gyro for years. Everything I've seen is 30k plus
