    Denzel Washington's character in Equalizer II absolutely MUST have been based on this man. Go back and watch the opening scene of the movie, and then listen to what this man said about going from zero to 10, in terms of aggression, with absolutely behavioral indications of doing so. In fact, even look at his beard and glasses, compared to Denzel's, at the start of the film.

    I was once told that you never fight an Elder, aside from respect, the Elder can remember something that you were not yet taught. There was never a fear of death, but only of leaving things unfinished. TMH bless you and your family. 🫡

    Peace be upon you Elder what a beautiful video I use the word beautiful because most people do not understand and do not have what you may possess meaning without one man May have a form of fighting system but still unable to remove put down or stop against an attacker who does not know a fighting system in this Society men have lost their Edge see I was taught it's not about if you win or if you lose but are you going to face your Challenger and if you get knocked down are you going to get back up and fight again it's a reason why one may like boxing maybe from the 70s 60s 50s because of how the fighters viewed in understood and used intent also the fact that men do not come together a raw state so that each person could work on its masculinity from all perspectives your video today brother was a blessing because I start working out realize that if one mind is sharp and is capable of intent well why not add the physical perspective to it and why not study an art form get good at it when I listen to your videos I always realize something there's much more to life than what they're feeding people's outlook on life you have a deep understanding For What Men supposed to have naturally not for just fighting faith is another reason there's no God but Allah so why fear anything else I believe Bellaire you brother and guide you and protect you and I do enjoy your videos

    I've been reading Clausewitz's "On War" and there's a fragment that remembered this video, it's on book 3 chapter 3 "And therefore the most of the subjects which we shall go through in this book are composed half of physical, half of moral causes and effects, and we might say the physical are almost no more than the wooden handle, whilst the moral are the noble metal, the real bright-polished weapon."

    My dad talks about the #1 skill all the time. Attacking without showing intent, or the inception of intent. Still trying to master it, and also sayf out of curiosity were the last 3 skills acquired over time or were they naturally there or a mixture of both?

    Quick Question: What does one do when they freeze up during confrontation? Like for example in a fight or flight situation but instead of activating that fight you freeze. Is there a way to counter this?

    How are you doing sir. Great videos. I had a question for you. How beneficial is heavy bag training? I currently cannot afford to go to a martial arts school but would like to continue training. All i have is weights and a heavy bag. Will that help keep my skills sharp?

    • @TheUmmahFightCamp
      @TheUmmahFightCamp  4 місяці тому +3

      @saddiqstevens7200: Yes, a heavy bag that you hit with extreme malice works well until you can spar. Strike fast and hard with intent from imagining it is a man. Learn to do it fast and retract your strikes after full power. Also, grab the sides and work on knees, let go on occasion, slam your elbows in and re grab for knees. Simulate as best you can.

      Thank You sir. Just a request, could you do a video on how taekwondo was originally taught and used? I here and see a lot of people mock and make fun of taekwondo but I've read articles on taekwondo being much more effective than it is today back when it first started, what's the difference?

    Comparing 2 fighters one younger, stronger, faster, possibly also better catdio/stamina at 22 vs someone let's say 62 that may be less agile, stronger, faster and possibly less staminate than someone at 22.
    Do you not think the 62 yr old will be at disadvantage? How will they cope with someone younger?
    Also at what age do you think one is still able to defend themselves at from somebody younger?
    Asalaamualaikum.

    • @TheUmmahFightCamp
      @TheUmmahFightCamp  4 місяці тому +4

      @sliksm7626: You are talking from the perspective of "fighting". I have never met a real dangerous man who was interested in "fighting". I can always tell when someone is young (not talking about you) when they talk of fighting. That is a give and take. I am in great shape at 62 and am at the top of the food change in the over 50 range. I still train and have always had an open door policy. NO ONE leaves not being amazed. The most dangerous men I know are over 60 and would take the life of a 22 year old today without a gun.
