    This of course opens up the discussion to the oft repeated question, "So what is the best defense against a blade?" Not being NEAR one. There is NO scenario (whether YOU have a blade or don't but your opponent DOES) in which you do not end up either dead or severely injured.

    What separates man from Bears and Tigers is ability to create and use weapons.
    That is what has given man an advantage over animals that are physically more powerful.

    UNC I have loved ur vids what do you think of adding some capoeira for evasiveness and the low kicks they do its so unexpected so it would catch people off guard

    • @MrStClair247
      @MrStClair247 16 днів тому +1

      When it comes to capoeira, how would you incorporate their manner of low kicks in the following situations:
      * Parking level in a high rise building if you work in one and you're about to get into your car.
      * You're in an elevator and on your way to your car that's parked in one of the lower levels..
      The door opens on a level that's not yours and a woman runs in who's being chased from her ex I ho she has a restraining order.
      Out of fear, she hides behind you and he starts to assault you in order to get to her
      Cramped quarters and time is not on your side to act.

      LOL! If you are one of those black folks who think you were here before the natives and did not come here as slaves, save it. Black people keep finding things to heal the pain of racism. It is what it is! Malcolm, Garvey, Elijah and others have given you the road map to deal with it. Now stop searching for myths and live like a man.

      @FBAMaroon: My dear brother, I am sorry for being so harsh, but we should never be ashamed that 50 men with rifles took us captive! We should be ashamed if one did! My own ancestors were slaves from Togo. I find strength in the fact that many of us tried escaping in spite of the threat to our lives. Not to mention those of us who jumped overboard rather than be a slave. That takes courage. We need to be inspired by that and hold our heads high.

    To answer your question about people infatuated with prison martial arts I'll give it a shot. It's not only black people who want to know about prison fighting because I am white, haven't done time and want to know about it. And here's why... I think the thought process is that if a style comes from a violent and unstable environment such as a third world country, war zone, or prison system and it works under those conditions it will work for us on the streets to defend against opponents who may be bigger, stronger, and may or may not be armed. At least such a style may help negate some of these issues but to be honest if someone has a knife and I can run I probably will bc no fighting style is really good against a blade.
    HERE IS MY QUESTION:
    In a show about the Aryan Brotherhood a C.O. said they were smart, strong, charismatic, and alpha. He said they would be leaders and CEOs of any group or organization they are a part of but they just want to control the prison drug trade.
    My question to them would be... why?
    Why would I choose to be in a gang who's goal is NOT to control the streets where I can enjoy the money I make but a group in prison? What is the point of selling drugs and extorting people if you are going to live in prison anyway? It's the same with the Mexican Mafia... these dudes are going to spend their life behind bars. You can have sex with a woman, you can't drink a beer, go to the beach, walk to the store, watch a movie, or even control the heat and air conditioning.
    So what is the point? To have more Raman Noodles than every other guy on the block or to have to say that you are a shot caller when you still have another man looking up your asshole? I don't get it. I would love to understand the psychology of it. I'm totally serious! I would like to ask these guys what motivates them because if I knew I was never getting out of prison I'd hang it up.
    I'd like to know how the AB, EME, and BGF guys can not even think or care about NEVER getting a girl... EVER and yet care if someone owes them a cigarette or a honey bun. Can someone explain the thought process? I here guys in the prison talking about had badass they are or how tough their gang is but at the end of the day they are stuck in a cell with and don't seem to mind. Someone help me to understand.

      @frankmorrison2711: Sure whites are infatuated with prison martial arts, however I am black and given our situation in the world and country, we cannot afford to be as frivolous with our attention. Whites can have a population of 5% who are good for nothing but sweeping floors given their influence in the world and America. Blacks cannot.

      @TheUmmahFightCamp  8 днів тому

      As for why men in prison think like they think: Most don't think that way until their life depends on it. You would have to adjust in the same manner or else...
