I subbed for the technical explanation of the screen scroll glitch. :D
One of the things that has gotten me to stick around in speedrunning (spectating) is the technical aspect of what these runners are doing and how they have dissected the games. So thanks for helping to explain these crazy techniques!. :D

      Exactly!

It's as if at the end of every level, a bus arrives every 21 frames to bring you to the next level. Even if you miss the bus by just one frame, you would still have to wait 20 frames to catch the next bus. Sometimes though, you'll arrive just before a bus does, and you'll hardly have to wait at all. Of course, this doesn't apply to the last level, since timing stops immediately once you touch the axe at the end.

I am blown away by the sheer amount of information you added onto the screen. The map, the enemy counter, all the small ghost Links walking routes that the runner did not take and more and more! Think about this, the record was achieved on October 18th, this video was released on December 18th, so at the very most, writing, recording, and editing this whole documentary, not even talking about creating all these graphics and scoring the thing, was achieved in two months. That is some absurd speed to turn around anything in, especially something of this quality. Beyond amazing work from Bismuth as usual.

You explained how one tiny, seemingly insignificant mistake led to several other timelosses which added up to 3 seconds lost.
