I got a 35 on my English section, BIGGEST tips:
-periods and semicolons are the same thing, never change one to the other
-almost never choose dashes (-) unless there was/is one earlier/later in the sentence
-watch plurality!! You would never say “they was” or “he were” so make sure those match (sounds easy but so many people miss this during the test.. read the full sentence to be sure!)
    Good luck everyone 💓💗💞

I'm trying to raise my score of 19 to a 25 or 26 by studying for 2 hours every day for a month. I've been consistently getting 23-28 on my practice tests but when the real test happens I feel like I panic and do worse :( I got a 22 on my PACT but only a 19 on the real so I hope that next test I can raise it after hours of practice

I know this is not related to English but I just took the ACT this month and the science test had 1-2 actual science questions on it. One of them asked whether an amoeba was a unicellular organism with a nucleus, multicellular with a nucleus, unicellular without a nucleus, or multicellular without a nucleus. I was so surprised because I had never seen an actual science question before on that section!

it can be like (I don't know for sure tho), for example is used to state just one or two of the things taught to author but if we actually look after those lines there is a complete list which means if a colon is given, it's better than for example..that's how I did that..I don't know if that's right for sure or not...and I like the way you say,"IT'S A PREPOSITIONAL TRANSITIONAL PHRASE!!"

No no no no no no. The people who get things wrong on English are getting the "summary," "main point," "removal," and "interpretation" questions wrong. We could ALL figure out the plurality, sentence structure, etc., but the main point diction/rhetoric-type questions are the ones you DON'T REALIZE YOU GET WRONG.
