Is it just me as i think the 109 is a sinister looking aircraft be it in the air or on the ground.Its probably the reason I like it so much so purposeful looking with its aggressive lines.
There's something menacing about the later variants where they painted a swirl design on the spinner, imagine looking back and seeing that hypnotizing effect circling the nose cannon.
I'm a little confused as how the P-47 fits in with the Battle of Britain other than it is a WWII era aircraft? The Thunderbolt did not enter service until 1942.

They're back open! No real events this summer, but hopefully they get back to Tankfest Northwest next year.

Explanation is in the description. The Hurricane was grounded so they threw in the Thunderbolt.
