Another exquisite shed experience, thank you for putting out this enjoyable toyota nerdfest.. Going off into the sheds that people are willing to share are among the most interesting videos to me, especially the characters that come with em. Your host showing off his stuff for us to see, thank him properly. He did right well on camera too, love the way you do not cater solely to the international audience and just stick with your everyday speak. Auto translate doesnt get everything all the time and that adds to the charm. Make us work for it a bit ;) The explanation regarding the large sheds that groups of friends or people of common interest rent is on the mark, it is not a common situation in other countries at all and it seems to add comradery (ok its the best word i have but rats it is old fashioned) and purpose, a reason to keep at it. Thank you. Following faithfully from the Netherlands, Jonathan
I feel like I have a lot in common with Paddy and the guys he shares his unit with. It doesn't matter how much space you have in a shed in this country, it'll be filled. Doesn't matter how long it takes to get one, three or more projects cars done, they'll get done eventually, or maybe they won't. A big part of the enjoyment in doing this stuff is the process.
We’ve had that scrapper thing back in 2009 as well over here in Germany. The government have benefited you with 2500€ called “Umweltprämie” if you buy a new car from the dealership after bringing your old one to the scrap yard. It claimed many classic cars from the 80s and 90s era.
i totally forgot about this, i was wondering for so long why all those cars are so rare and expensive here. sucks to love these old jdm legends in germany.
Providing financial incentive to destroy classic vehicles is not only stupid, but enviromentally inefficient. Its more efficient to use a old car for a long time and make it more efficient through retrofitting that it is to spend energy and time making a new one, and then only to scrap it later through the same scheme.
I've been holding onto a Te sedan rear floor section for about 6yrs to try and do a 4 link swap on my wagon. Cool seeing that someone has done it and that it works! I'll get around to it one of these days, Haha! Cheers!!
Ive talked with paddy once or twice over the internet just from drift van love and hearing him talk with the heavy Irish accent is how ill read all his texts from now on
Paddy and the lads know proper style, that kp is fucking unreal, the wheel choice, metal arches and tire sizing is spot on. Got a real Club ManS vibe from the whole shed
The whole idea of its not a show car is the way to look at it. I get caught up in my own shit comparing to retro JDM goodness. It's all about function though, if it's too nice you'll never give it the heat. The work he does is fucking A1, all them flares looked gorgeous. Great fabricator
I'm kicking myself in the ass for all the Corollas (mostly KE's) I've owned over the years and let go. I had several 4 door KE sedans and a bunch of 2 door sedans. I used to get them for $500. I should of kept at least one. I've had an AE86 for about 15 years now that needs a lot of tlc. But I'm a KE guy at heart. We never got the high roof KE here in the U.S. Keep us updated on that crazy ass high roof AE86 van hybrid. I would love to see it sitting on some fat ass wheels nice and low once it's ready!!
New to the channel, Absolutely love the Yotalicious collection. Keeping old Yotas alive is the name of the game around here too. The people in charge of roads around here spread truckloads of salt in the cold winter months to discourage ice build up on the roads, but it kills our cars and trucks. Keep up the good work lads!
Im two days late and two dollars short but never the less you guys never cease to amaze me with the incredible stuff you've got on that little island of yours! Absolutely love it! What a treasure trove
KEs are rare as in Australia now. When I was in school you could buy a KE70 for a bag a weed but then drifting became a thing and anything rear wheel drive went up to $3000
Epic, love how a few skilled lads with the space and passion take what most considered to be hen houses rotten in fields and driveways out of the bleakness and create desirable classic cars out of them, The only downside to this is what’s next where’s it heading, what will be in sheds with a million spare parts available for the 2 generation in 20 years, emissions laws and values are ruing future hobbies, I can only dream of having the space build a collection
What an incredible collection of cool cars! 😀 And god I miss my old KP, 3 door on Celica Supra 14" wheels. Would love to have a KE wagon now, or another KP!
I didn't know Ireland had so many old jdm cars, so cool! I've been a fan of Japanese cars since the late 90s, when I used to look at and read about them in Street machine and Custom cars magazines, then early 2000s I moved back to Italy, and they were never imported here, the super rare ones that surface go for exorbitant amounts of €€€€.. Gorgeous cars anyway, really really nice and clean work fellas 👍🏻🖤🏴☠️
The minute the music started I had to draw the curtains and slip into my smoking jacket 🤣, That r33 looks savage on those rims, when they are done right they look so good😎👌
That starlet, dx, c31 and cressida are fcukin mint👌❤️💯 Hard to find parts n shit here in nz🇳🇿 love the whole shed, seem's homely, look forward to the vans progress🙌
If I had the shipping money I'd to get my hands on that ae86 firewall. My ae86 is RHD converted by cutting the fire wall. I'd love to swap to an actual RHD fire wall in the future. But for now my runs pretty well besides not being able to put in a heater core
UA-cam subtitles really don't get Irish people. What a mad collection this dude has! Mega impressive

This was probably one of my favorite features, Kudos to the guy for saving so many cool cars and all the projects as well!

This was filmed about two years ago…. A lot of work done since then and a lot of those projects are finished or close!!
I came back to see this video all over again just to remind myself why i love this channel.

Paddy Mayer is one lucky lad
The best kind of Automotive journalism. I hope you can persuade some more lads to open up their sheds for some features.
