Mother and daughter resemble each other in all the best ways. The mother seems to have raised this daughter with all due care under difficult circumstances and instilled or allowed enough independence and responsibily to launch a competent and admirable young adult.

Hello. Just recently saw your short on UA-cam and came to your channel to check out your page. Thank you for sharing your story. I think we definitely need more of this. People who come from different walks of life, sharing their stories so others can hear what others go through. You both have a wonderful relationship and it’s very clear.
I do have one question. Can you elaborate on your hard and fast rule regarding healthcare providers with military base experience being a no go? Was there something that happened that made you adopt this rule? It’s okay if you don’t want to share obviously and I am definitely not trying to say this rule is wrong or right. I am just curious what led to this rule being put in place.
Thanks again for sharing your story. I also, love those glasses. Are they from pair by chance? Pair is an eyewear company that has little magnets in the base frames and then you can buy or make these things called toppers so you can change the look of your glasses depending on the mood. I absolutely love mine and the shape of the frames reminds me of one of their base frames they have.

I really love this interview! The connection you both have is amazing! You‘ve gone through so much and your attitude and courage made the difference! I agree with your mom, you‘re very smart 😊. I love your sense of humour too and hope doctors have learned from all this too.🙏🏼

My daughter’s bio dad slept the WHOLE time I was in labor & after. I’d rather him have just not been there. He was an embarrassment & zero help. Still 23 yrs later he’s worthless 😂🤣so glad you found happiness. Y’all make a great team you & your daughter. So sweet 😊thanks for educating us. Just found your channel. New sub, I’m watching with my daughter.

Enjoy Mom and daughter.I too love Mom's glasses frames. I am a pink and blue gal and would be delighted to wear these. Have seen nothing like this in So Cal,who thinks we are so far in advance of "cool stuff". If your service dog goes astray ,he came to see me !!!! I love black cats and dogs. Hope to receive a reply. Be well,Peace to all.

In my family my older brother and I were born with a incredibly rare dwarfism called Geleopyhsic dysplasia Dwarfism, then my younger brother was average height with no apparent health conditions. Sadly both of my brother's have passed away from surgery complications and meningitis caused by shingles

Wait so this happened in like 2000? 2001? I am shocked by the treatment at the hospital. That is so sad!

I really enjoyed the podcast but it would be easier for a stranger to follow if you didn't interrupt your mom so often. It's not bad since it's the normal aspect of any casual conversation but it's more difficult to imagine the whole picture if you interrupt before she's done with a foundation of her point.
