Thanks AutoPark Honda for letting me film. Visit www.autoparkhonda.com to view inventory. And I did make a video mistake...these paddle shifters are used to control the amount of brake regeneration and not used like traditional car paddle shifters. Sorry for my mistake. Thanks for watching! Jeff
I finally got mine, but it's AWD, and i love driving it so much! Very smooth ride! The trunk is big enough for a stroller and more! The doors open wide enough, so it's easier to load and unload baby's car seat or just buckling them in! The sounds on the key fob and the dials for the air make a satisfying clicking sound!! The red is sparkly in the sun. I just love it so much. Shout out to Fred Anderson Honda Greenville, SC!!!
This is same car I bought last month - a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport -L in Radiant Red. I have bought about 15 cars in my 74 trips around the sun. So far this one takes first prize. One of the “features” that stands out for me is how extremely quiet it is in both gas and electric modes. And of course the low mpg is nice. I have been averaging about 36.6 and have gotten as high as 41.3 in town. I know it’s early, but so far it has been a real pleasure to drive this car. This will likely be the last car I’ll own and I’m glad I saved the best for last!
I'm very interested in getting a Touring trim. I was wondering if you used the heated seats. My wife has a problem with her back, and this feature is very important. Does the heat come on quickly and is the intensity strong if you want it? Thanks
@@markg6605 We love the seats heated as we both have bad backs. after awhile the heat goes lower but you don't notice it. My wife has the 2024 Sports Touring Hybrid, we have had it since July 2023.
I got the 2024 Hybrid Sport Touring in Nov 23. I took it camping to the Tetons this past summer. Four adults, one car seat, a tent, and all of our camping supplies fit into the car. I was amazed! I spent $155 for a roundtrip from Denver, CO to Jackson, WY and that included driving around from Jackson, to the Tetons, and Yellowstone. I love my hybrid sport touring.
You forgot a great feature. Auto bright lights on a dark road. When another car shows up, the lights dim again. Awesome feature. Unfortunately, there is no HomeLink.

You will feel the rate of regernative resistance when you take your foot off the gas. The paddles do not shift gears. The CRV-Hybrids have e-cvt type transmissions - no shifting gears. You will hear pseudo shift sounds from the speakers on hard accellerarion in the Normal driving mode which are much much louder in Sport mode. I have had a 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport Touring for six months with zero regrets!
I really appreciate you saying this. I honestly didn’t know. I’ve been doing some research and you’re absolutely correct. I regret that I screwed up that part of the video. I’ll probably end up making a separate video about it exclusively. I really appreciate you being part of my channel. You helped me today.
Glad you have enjoyed it. Ours top teir has been in the shop for a lot of problems. The sensors is the worst issue and now the steering. We have 14k miles on it and like it at first but if you live anywhere like the northern states the sensors are garbage. Also the inside weight once you go above 800 lbs all the sensors shut off.
I have the 2024 sport touring hybrid. I love it. Just a few comments: I wish the mirrors automatically moved when changing between the two driver settings. It would also be nice for the side mirrors to go down when in reverse. I also think this top of the line model should have had the windshield display and 360 camera. I also think the steering wheel should have more adjustment range. I did find the seats were very stiff and uncomfortable when it was new but now they’re broken in and just fine. And agree we need a spare tire. Other than that, I love it.
I own a 2025 Sport Touring which is very similar. A few improvements I suggest for Honda: (1) program an option for analog temperature, oil pressure and tachometer instead of idiot lights and nonsensical power meter, (2) car seems to over-rev and struggle on steep grades which may be a function of the eCVT programming, (3) the automatic lift gate using your foot seldom works probably because the sensor gets dirty quickly, (4) center consul and glove box are really flimsy for a top level trim package, (5) add fog lights that were on earlier models, (6) include the luggage/cargo cover on top trims as in earlier models, (7) include a larger car battery such as the size included in Canadian models as the tiny US battery will likely not last more than a couple of years, (8) update manual to discuss vacuum pump inside the fuel evaporation leakage check module (ELCM) that comes on several hours after parking, (9) add a better oil dipstick where the driver can easily see the oil level on the stick - the plastic markers are crap, (10) add a fuel cap instead of the silly plastic seal on the cover and in the filker opening that will likely fall apart.
I have one of this CR-V Hybrid Sport, it's has a great style SUV with all the features you need, specially the Honda sensing features to keep you safe. It's roomy and has great mileage.

I have a non hybrid right now and love it ❤ I went to take a test drive in the hybrid and was almost ready to sign on the dotted line. What stopped me? That there is no spare! They have some type of chemical to hold you over until you can get to a place to buy a new tire. Well my son bought a hybrid and his tire blew out on his way home and the goop doesn’t work if your tire blows up! It took us almost 3 hours to get a tow truck to come out. Had the car come with a tire, he could have just changed the tire. They could have added the tire to the back door like the RAV 4, I had one of those before too. Not sure I will buy a hybrid just for that reason, we shall see what happens. That was very disappointing to me.
Agree. Had I known... but such is life. I will buy a spare. It will take up room but gives me peace of mind. Last car had three flats around the city over 7 years. Can't imagine how I'd feel if that car had no spare.
What they didn’t tell us when we bought ours is it doesn’t come with spare tire and Honda doesn’t carry a spare tire. We had to buy one and it was over $500. Also, it doesn’t fit in tire area so it takes up valuable cargo space
@@AutoJeffReviews Jeff, It is not just the RAV4 with interior issues. Did you realize the Prius has a longer wheelbase with more rear seat legroom than the Corolla Cross? Hello, I dare a few observations, 5th generation 4th year. The fuel consumption is intended between the driver's head and his right legs with the use of recuperation paddles. I had the opportunity to ride for a while (2024) and I would summarize it in a few small notes. In today's heat ventilation of seats, it is not as intense as I would have imagined; I do not know whether the intensity can be set. Furthermore, I was amazed that the passengers could not adapt their seat as much as the driver. In 5. Ogeneration it was possible to set the armrest and often use it for longer routes. Damage. I did not find out what the sunroof is for when Honda has air conditioning. I would expect a greater suppression under the front wheels, the noise is somewhat larger. They could better adapt the compartment to recharge your mobile, as the cell phone runs in the corner. See how quite practically they created and entered the lower part of the car; On the back is already a hole that will suffer especially in winter (I mean part from the rear axle). Otherwise, I finally praise the practical rear safety belts that can be set as much as the front. I also praise the possibility to set the position of the rear seats. It is a pity that the rear passengers cannot separately adjust the positioning bench position. I still remembered the heated steering wheel, which is only on temperament and not of heating. Heating seems to understand that I could set the heating temperature as in the seats. I praise that someone has finally remembered that in the trunk people not only carry their suitcases on holiday, but for over a year they are made shopping, and in the masters that can at least be attached. The last observation is that it is not possible to regulate the air conditioning in the front. If the passenger does not want to play cold air on himself, he is simply unlucky. Either the driver is baked, or the passenger arrives "frozen" or with a barley grain. I think it could be different at the price of the car. It's just my observation, I know that other owners don't mind these things and don't solve them. For me, I will wait for the CR-V hybrid 7. generation, (year 2025-2026) what it will bring.
