- Today AD takes you to the fabled Hamptons on the south fork of Long Island in New York to tour Craigmoor - an $8.5M three house compound with extraordinarily lush landscaping. First up, the main house greets you with 25-foot ceilings, a grand staircase and a beautiful gold leaf archway. A stroll through the garden to the carriage house brings you to a dramatic tower, joining the upstairs bedrooms to the stainless steel kitchen on the first floor and the lower level office and gym. The 3-bedroom guest cottage is a beautiful residence in its own right, with a living room overlooking the backyard that’s perfect for entertaining. With it’s peaceful gardens and noble statuary, 145 Accabonac Road in East Hampton, NY finds you surrounded by beauty at every turn.

This dudes sounds like he’s talking through a McDonald’s mic talking about a 8.5 million dollar house
Totally!
McDonald’s don’t even have microphones though.
wow, truly the most accurate description
Yeah can I get uhhhh **blasts sicko mode** and a hamptons garden compound
@@TheLiamster Never been in a drive through?
The kitchen is terrible, but not as bad as this guys mic
and as he says, it is functional. But not as his mic should be.
That’s what I was thinking as well....the kitchen leaves a lot to be desired....very underwhelming for sure compare to the rest of the breathtaking gorgeous house...feels very out of place for sure. Lol. Not sure what the designer was thinking....
I like the way he excused it by saying “it’s for the staff”
@@hashmo101 it's idiotic lol
The lot is amzing, the house is underwhelming
The main house is an unimaginative box. That is one of the worst kitchens I've seen in a luxury household. The landscaping is gorgeous but it does not make up for the home.
I hate manicures front lawns anyway
the cabinets look like those I have in my house.... they were from ikea
Oooo don't get me started! It doesn't matter how many homes are on the property if the main house is trash. That kitchen is a disgrace and that baby balcony upstairs only allows you to have a forward view of the garden. What a waste. I stopped watching after 3 minutes.
And the thing with the landscape is that it is only going to look like that during the warm seasons. The rest of the year, you are just stuck with a tacky looking house and a bare landscape with skeleton trees and naked statues.
Its a garden. An unusable high maintenance garden, like a park only not free
8,5 mil house but can’t afford a mic
Well you gotta sell something to afford that house amiright?
Well it’s not his house. 🤷♂️
This is the dumbest comment I've read.

It's not his house. Or he doesn't mind at all.
Realizing the owner's choice of "decor" above the fireplace was actual turtle shells was horrifying. Very poor taste, especially in a mass collection like that.
Editorknowsbest We had two in our lounge when I was growing up. They were specials gifts from residents of the Thursday Islands. That many is just nasty :(
Why is that such a bad thing? Perhaps they were harvested after the turtles died
They're extremely expensive / rare, but it's illegal to sell them or trade unless older than 1947. Because of the Endangered Species Act. They have to be dated to be sold. Before they were banned, they were traded for decoration but also used for thousands of things before plastics were invented. Many things we have around the house today used to be made out of turtle shells. - I"m not saying packing a fireplace is great decor and also the whole house full of dead stuff is a little weird (so is garden statuary). But whatever.
You think he takes them off live turtles with his barehands or something lol??
Walking around in shoes made of animals skin
For 8.5 million the kitchen in the main house is so underwhelming
‘And just on the mantle; human skulls. Sublime’
When I saw the landscaping: OMG how is it only $8.5M?
When I saw the interior: yup ok thats why
Everyone: The mic sucks
Me: WHY ARE THERE SO MANY DEAD ANIMALS?
Thank you that was my immediate thought - yuck so much death on the walls and floors.
Thats all I was thinking about
Majestic mantle piece lined with turtle shells - can't imagine enjoying looking at that
Lisa Fenwick isn’t that the truth - here is our beautiful home and how little we care about wildlife whether it’s on the land or in the sea! 😭
even on the walls of the carriage house bathroom omg
The carriage house has a better kitchen than the main house
Yeah, I am not paying $8.5M for that interior.
That 8.5M is probably for the reputation of the designer, some antique pieces and that overly complicated garden decor.
If you can buy the house, you can pay for the redesigning of the interior...
I mean do you have that much money?
Shreyansh Swain or you can buy a house with a better interior!
If you can't afford to redo the interior, you can't afford an $8.5M house in the first place.
the outdoor is heaven the exterior is really good and the interior is......meh , i'll give it 5/10
You're rich, you can just re-do it
@@ifeanyidim1816 yeah i think you're right
Imagine paying $8.5M to use a garage as living room lol
Shhhhhh it’s called unconventional
The worst part is you cant even access the garage with your car because theres a huge bush in front of it 😒
@@chaloupe damn I didn’t even notice until now. That is stupid as hell
The outside makes up for how ugly it is on the inside
No it doesn’t!
Nelisa Emmanuel I mean... I still wouldn’t wanna live there! Renovating that place and get new furnitures to make it not look like a grandpa’s house would probably cost another $8.5M
If you were Rick then there wouldn’t be a problem
Zee A I’m dying 😂😂😂
It's really not that bad.
With that kind of price tag, I would’ve expected the interior to be a lot better. Outside is amazing!
So this is what it’s like to be Blair Waldorf and Serena Van Der Woodsen. The structure of the inside is pretty decent (minus the kitchen) but I think the staging furniture holds back it’s full potential
Everything is below potential
I agree, the staging is weird!
I feel like nothing matches. There’s a different style in each room
There are different styles within each room. Thats just awful.
Dominik Sennfelder yea the interior design isn’t worth the 8.5 mil price tag. One room is traditional and another is modern or contemporary. Nothing goes together
Cluttered as hell 👎🏽
All the rooms are tied together by a consistent lack of taste.
Stacy Silverman that’s a great way of putting it
You guys upgraded the $3 mic from the last episode to a $5 Mcdonalds headset. Makin big moves.
Okay but who furnished this home, TACKY
"After all, why not dine next to your Porsche?" has to be THE richest thing I've heard... sis wat??
You can't even fit a car in to the garage, there a hedges right in front the doors.
I love the landscaping and exterior. The interior I find kind of tacky..
Imagine thinking that’s what a treehouse looks like
I paused when he said that, looking all over my screen for the tree house before realizing that he was talking about that thing in the center of the frame
this was such a roller coaster like sections were beautiful but some i couldn't stop myself from laughing at
Looks like real estate agents have gone poor last time the agent didn't have a good mic for a 78 mil dollar home and this the mic is not so good
You walk right in a front door, right in to a toilet, feels a little off, but in essence its perfect the toilet is a part of a home!!! There’s a toilet with poop 14 Courics in weight!
I thought this exact same thing! Minus the weight of the poop...
His logic is that the kitchen is a room in the house, so it's perfect to walk into it through the front door.
Like WTF? Every room is a room of the fricken house! lol
Good on AD for never deleting these hilarious comments! I absolutely LIVE for them!!! What? No flower cutting room? Philistines...
Why does his voice sound like its through a muffler? lmao
Voice recording on the camera instead of a dedicated microphone.
always reassuring when a staircase goes both up and down
Wow, each time I am impressed by the buildings in these videos.
Photo Geek lifestyle of the reach and the famous!
Beautiful pool and garden, but not a special house IMO.
"this could all be yours"
me: OMG REALLY😮😮😮
"for 8.5 million"
me: HAHAHAHA REAL FUNNY😑😑😑
House is very stuffy.
keeping the gardens and pool clean is a full time job.
Yeah i can imagine how horrible those workers feel
There's nothing special about this house except for the outside, the interior is so ugly and everything looks out of place imo ( Also buy a mic, voice sounds terrible)
It feels so.....uggg like cramped and ugly and the kitchen 😣
I'm not one for big, hold colour but there was way too many white walls
imagine how great an easter egg hunt you could run in those gardens.
Stunning compound... I love when people are artistic about their shrubbery in the windows... one of my favorite details of a home. Perfect time to show this place as well... gorgeous lighting.
Imagine being the owner and just watching this dude's pitch for $8.5m on their behalf.
I just watched a house that cost 55,000,000 and went to this one and was like " ahh yess more in my price range".
Wow, I love it! It’s like a 3 for one deal😂🤷♀️ It’s beautiful, but I would still redecorate😂👌
Key words: I would lol
Gorgeous property. And although the interior is a bit too classical for me, it is well done and feels very elegant, sophisticated and luxurious. The landscaping is out of this world. So beautiful. Majestical and magical.
The property has very outdated interiors though kitchen seems to be modern. Moreover the garden needs tremendous maintenance
0:50 Does anyone know why they blur out the paintings?
Copyright reasons, some art copies are for private use only, not to copy or show
I was wondering the same thing
Thanks everyone, good to know! :)
Because they are rancid and ugly
Me after watching the chartwell estate 200 million home: *”oh only 8.5 million? That’s so cheap”*
😂😂😂
did he say "deep and shallow" to describe the fireplace? huh??
Not me realizing I’ve been Driving by this gorgeous property almost everyday lol.. EH really has some hidden gems
This is, by far the best I've seen here😻👍🏡
Why was this such a fast tour?
I think I like the cottage the most even though they all have lovely designs
The garden folly is awesome !
DAMN chill with all the video cuts in the beginning yall had me cross eyed.
Beautiful Gardens! - The interiors are horrific!
The main house primary bedroom is...underwhelming to say in the least
Architectural Digest needs to hire Mr. Luxury to showcase these properties.
I love watching things I can't afford!
The exterior design is gorgeous and the gardens are a dream. The interior would need so much work in all the buildings, but worth it! Could make this so so good. Love the spiral staircase decor.
Nicely done. The guy knows how to let the house speak for itself.
Great property ! Except the kitchen table I like this cosy style !
One of the best deals ever!!!!!!
This is a proper bargain
Beautiful gardens🌼🌷🌺
"sorry the ice cream machine is broken, would you like something else from our menu" headass mic
The sound crunch... crispy
Why not divide the properity and sell the houses seperately? No millionaire can live in 3 different houses at the same time :D
Because even the main house is small. The other two are very small. No one would pay as much for 3 tiny houses as one “estate”
I would live in the carriage house, reserve the main house for special events/guests, and rent out the cottage or reserve it for guests. You could park the car in the living room so you can get to the car without an umbrella and boots on a rainy day (lol)
Super Video!!! 👍💪 I really live watching your uploads!! Keep it up!
i wonder how much the buyer paid in federal income taxes last year?
He's a landscape designer, probably writes the whole place off.
Sheila Blische must be nice
He just described the fireplace as deep and shallow, what is he on about. At least rehearse your speech!
Mike Hughes yeah I laughed at that part
Wtf leave the turtles out
I love the carriage house
The Carriage House is better than the main house!
Why is the carriage house nicer than the main house? And that’s not saying much with that garage that’s also a sitting room
Stunning kitchen seriously I'm stunned. 8.5 and nothing about this property is appealing
Somehow these under 10 mil houses are way better than those 50 plus mil overkills
“This is a beautiful spot....to do nothing” 😂😂😂
We're really gonna sit here and not talk about the zebra rug
Yessss finally saying primary bedroom! Shout out to Misty Copeland
I almost got a heart attack when I saw the interior...
Wow this house looked like a mansion. I can’t believe it’s a small mcmansion at best lol. It looks so huge from the outside. It’s a classy mcmansion tho but it’s rlly rlly small looking
The carriage house looks better on the inside than the main home lol still a steal for this price though
Finally a mansion with a really beautiful flower garden and no these lifeless grasses
Gardens are stunning but the main house kitchen is a shocker?? I would put a new kitchen in for sure.
Great for a big family.
Beautiful gardens.
I don’t know what’s worse, the kitchen or the mic
This is actually a nice deal.
now who thought that this interior looked good enough to be put on my screen
This is soooo much better than that stupid 9 million Hudson River house with railroad tracks in the backyard.
I want a separate garden tour bof this property!!! It's gorgeous 😻😻
The inside is pretty basic and the dead animals on the walls ruins it,it makes it look cheap.😂😂😂
The garage and the tower are pretty amazing.
I would live in the cottage, use the carriage house as office/studio, and rent/manage the main house and garden for location shoots and occasional high end Bnb. But I would do alot of the work and make property a full time job/investment.
I had never seen a miniature mansion before until now.
beautiful home
Three house's crammed together I'd pay 8.5 milly just to bulldoze the three houses. The architecture looks the cottage was there 1st then kept adding houses haphazardly! That mansion that AD did a while back in the Hamptons with the art barn and apple orchard and grounds A boathouse and docks to Mecocks bay! (Real name look it up!!) was freaking my jam. Now THAT WAS A FREAKING COMPOUND! This is 🐕💩
Gorgeous...Stunning!!!...#GiveMeJESUS
I’ve never really seen this compound estate concept with multiple houses before but I like it. The interior isn’t as amazing as I thought though.
... and cadavers on top of the fireplace
This video sounds like a 1990 this old house episode on PBS.
this looks amazing! I wish I had the money. It makes me think I'm poor
I can only dream! This is magnificent. Actually, these 3 homes in one property is a steal considering all of them are considered vacation homes. Primary residence for the owners is still Manhattan.
The kitchen in the guest houses were better than the main one.... confused about the main house kitchen still but otherwise so beautiful
Imagine being AD and receiving such poor quality audio for your UA-cam channel ans saying yep, that’s fine
