What's your favorite thing to order at Panda Express?
First like
Orange chicken
I’ve never ate there is it any good
@@oldeanfirestone9940 It is delicious. Don't listen to these libtards.
Nothing. I dont go to Panda Express . They make me sick...
You don’t go to Panda Express to eat healthy because I sure dont
Panda is low fat and lots of protein. Panda is easy to catch and super soft
If I see that cook giving me old food, I'm going to give him an old fashioned beat down and he'll be walking out with two black eyes and a broken leg
Gabe-fartpoop Peepants I mean, he won’t be *walking* anywhere for a while
Well, he'll be crawling out and another customer will break a beer bottle over his head, meanwhile a customer in line decides to go outside and slash his tires
Gabe-fartpoop Peepants lolll
So I shouldn't get the Orange Chicken because it might be sitting out the longest yet, Orange Chicken is one of the most popular items that would obviously be freshly restocked multiple times a day? How does that make any sense?
Can I have a whole tray of orange chicken please?
This channel makes no sense just talk out of their ass
If the employees themselves say that it sits out for a long time then turns out that it does.
Lmao, I work at Panda Express right now. We replenish our orange chicken AT LEAST once hour when we’re not busy, and every 20 minutes during rush hours. It’s always fresh cause it sells out so quickly, idk what kinda of Panda they worked at
AmbiQueen96 agree w you on that. Been only working there for 8 months & I see how they cook it. I haven’t ate orange chicken since then, but I never found it so delicious... like other people say.
i'm still going to eat the orange chicken at panda's express
DusterDan35 same lmfao
Same
Same
We watch this to be informed and it doesn't make any sense we're just gonna go back there and eat anyways we ate there before we feel fine what the problem now atleast if something happens to us we have a reason to sue them lmao but for real we don't give a shit
DusterDan35 same it’s to good
These types of videos just make me want to eat them more out of sympathy.
because youre dumb

interrupted they actually said it in the video
damn, never had seen anything more accurate in my life
As long as it tastes good, doesn’t make me hug my toilet, or instantly kill me, I will probably eat it.
Panda is known to give you bubble guts . Especially their chow mein
Are people suppose to be surprised fried food is bad for you??? REALLY? 🙄
Hank Channel
This is nothing compared to Mcdonalds, Burger King, or Wendys.
Me: Plz don’t be orange chicken
Video: ORANGE CHICKEN
FUUUUUCK
I worked at Panda Express for years and we never put uncooked sauce on anything. In fact, anything not cooked stays behind the prep counter because of possibility of contamination. Whatever district/region it was obviously had bad practice. Besides, you’d have to combine a few sauces and ingredients to make the orange sauce, which we did on the wok. Sometimes we’d make a fresh batch of orange chicken and mix it in with the old, so the new sauce covers it. Some of the other foods we’d make a new batch and either mix them or just keep the meats from the old and add it with the new. NOW, on the teriyaki chicken sometimes we’d put the mandarin (teriyaki) sauce on top of it to make it look fresh. Sweet and Sour and Orange both have A LOT of sugar. Sweet and sour has soooo much, 18# before adding ketchup (which also has sugar) to it.
Just ask for a fresh batch and they’ll make it and give you straight from the fresh batch before combining it with what’s on the steam table (unless what’s there isn’t worth it or too old).
Where I live they put the old food on the new food. Very unsanitary
The panda express i go to is very popular, so food trays run out fast. The cooks have to constantly make a fresh batch, so it's never a problem at my location.
I love / hate it when. Its like that cause you get nice fresh stuff but you have to wait longer
it’s okay only 10 mins wait
Bruh, I don't care if I'm eating 4 days worth of sodium, I'm still gonna eat it
So taystee
panda express orange chicken is delivered to each store frozen, it is dropped into the deep fryer, then the "chef" makes the sauce in the wok, he then marries the orange chicken from the fryer with the sauce in the wok.
Well I mean the Panda Express by my house is always busy so new batches of chicken are made frequently
Draco
Yeah maybe this is just for the suburbs
Orange Chicken,Honey walnut shrimp and Chow Mein Gang Where you at?
I work at a panda express: just ask for fresh food we would be happy to make it, you just have to wait around 10 mins for it to be ready
"happy"
Bull crap the kid that works at my local panda throws a fit when I ask for an egg roll.
Liar you're not authentic chinese food LMAO
Five Mode head ass only the person working in the front would be happy to make it sike they’re not making it back of the house make it and we’re not happy especially if if minutes before closing
@@mgresham424 😂🤣👍
Who else up in Quarantine hungry af ay 2am cravin panda Express?
I work at Panda Express and they don’t put uncooked sauce to moisturize the food, and I’ve never even heard of that. But the orange chicken sauce is terrible for you. We make it by hand and we use a LOT of sugar. Other than that panda actually has a few pretty healthy options and it’s pretty decent.
I work at Panda Express too and this video is completely wack : )
Kevin Cotter lmao 😂
right video is so untrue.
how come they dont list how much cleaning and scrubbing we do? how much we do for food safety, how much rude customers there are😂
the only part true is the 3, 4 which is slow time but that's where food control came in so you cook in small batch so you still have fresh food.
Right?! I was like, “how is that possible ?” I think if it was true for that store’s area, then they had bad management and need OSHA to look into those stores. People will believe anything online lol
Lissi ! Frrrr this video is dumb
I worked at Panda for 3 years, C1 (Orange Chicken) always goes by fast so it’s actually usually the freshest item at the table. This of course varies location to location. Unfortunately, orange chicken sauce mainly consist of vinegar and sugar so I would shy away if you’re on a diet or trying to manage macros.
Here’s a tip: only order the stuff that’s being currently cooked when u walk in & wait a few min if u have to 👌🏽
I am going to assume the sources are redditors.
Panda Express is the Chinese American fast food chain which is home to the delicious Chinese cuisine. I wonder how the food tastes here in the US.
It's so good
As a Panda kitchen worker, I’ve never seen or heard of this practice. Also orange chicken is most likely to be one of the freshest items on the steam table due to how popular it is. We are constantly making new batches
This video makes me wanna get 3 portions of orange chicken
I'm so mad there isnt a panda express on the island. Ugh whenever I'm in the us this is my first stop lol.
Supreme Kicks ew that is not Chinese food 🤮
wow so weird what humans will do with information😂 you know its bad for you and will still put it in your body?
😂😂😂😂
Doctor Suess It isn’t bad for everyone . Just people with low metabolism.
Lmao, my panda express literally lets us see the people cook the food.
I can verify as a former panda GM that almost all of the practices by that employees manager are not to company standards and that’s not how all pandas operate. My food never sat for more than 20 minutes at the steam table. At 3 and 4 I just wouldn’t have food and I would begin cooking everything fresh to order or start preparing for dinner. Either way, the food never sat. Panda has the strictest health and food safety rules that I’ve ever dealt with in the food industry. The nutritional facts are facts though. There’s loads of sodium and sugar and panda food but that’s any restaurant.
Ya they put the old food on top of the new food so it's possible some of your food could have been sitting the entire time
@@hvacwiz7877 That occurs rarely though. As a current Panda express FOH service employee, I switch out the pans constantly, about 30 time intervals. The old ones usually get thrown away or scooped into the fresh batch, but Panda has it so that the old parts are in one area (and it’s easily identifiable given its different color due to sitting there for longer time) and we’re told to serve those first.
Sodium, sugar and panda food mmmm bamboo
Then why did I get the worse case of diarrhea I've ever had after eating there?
I kinda like the dried up pieces... They're crisp or nice to chew, and very very saucy.
If you're all curious, here's the recipe we do for the orange chicken sauce, 5 quarts vinegar, 5 quarts sugar, 1 1/2 quart of water, 1 1/2 of basic sauce and 2 teaspoons of orange extract
Shit at my store we have to make double that in one container, and we have to keep two containers of orange chicken sauce full all the time. We also go through about 4 cases of teriyaki a day.
From a former Panda express supervisor: we never did that old chicken shit. Our orange chicken always was gone. We had a very busy location and as regards to the sugar.... the sauce used for orange chicken is about 50% sugar
When you eat orange chicken while watching this
Ex-work(er) not ex-workers... no source listed... I used to work at Panda Express years ago and can say I never saw anyone recook anything...
As a current worker at panda, that’s some bull crap
I'm going to panda express after watching this video to get me some orange chicken 😋
"If you want Orange Chicken, just make it yourself. It's real easy!"
*Procceds to list 20 ingridients without considering prep and cook time plus the fact that buying all those ingredients will cost $15-$20. The end result won't taste the same and won't be much healthier either.
It won't cost $20 to make it, have you ever made your own food?
This isnt the 1950s, the chicken alone can be anywhere from 10-15$
not even just that not many people want to spend all that time just to make one dish when you can spend less than 10 dollars to buy some.
Not if u buy cheap chicken. An orange. And em bake chicken. Take a bite of each alternatively
Well if you buy the ingredients now then next time all you will to purchase is the chicken so in the end you will save more $$$$ making it at home, If you can cook
as a panda express employee, i can confirm that this is CAP 🧢
Same here this is CAP🧢
Orange chicken gets cooked very regularly there. It also is not a common practice to re wet the chicken. My son works there.
I never had Panda Express. But I always loved orange chicken. And when I do go to Panda Express, best believe I’m gonna get me some orange chicken.
And I'm eating leftovers from Panda Express awhile watching this video
I worked at multiple Panda Express in 2 different states in about 6 stores. I've never seen any Cook cook old orange chicken to throw on more sauce. Panda express is very very serious about food safety. 2pm-4pm is usually a slow time is true, but that is because it's after lunch rush and before work rush. If a location is near aschool then 2,3 is fine because the students get off and we'll get a rush. We have food control so food doesnt sit out and doesnt look and taste nasty. You can always ask to make a fresh batch (you have to be willing to wait about 5-7 mins). Terkykai and ginger fish take a minimum of 10 mins. Around 4:30 we start cooking everything fresh and bigger batches. Orange chicken is the most popular dish. it's the one that gets put the most and the freshest. Kung Pao, sweet fire (which is better than orange chicken), Beijing beef, black pepper are the ones least popular which are the ones that sit out more. Even if it sits out Employees will say would you like to wait for a fresh batch it's been out for a while. Customers usually say ok and say thank you.
if you do a video on a company you should ask at least 4 to 5 ppl not just one to have your facts straight.
I usually just order the grilled teriyaki chicken and white rice when I'm there. Good stuff:)
And here I go still ordering orange chicken with chow mien and not giving af 😂❤️
Seriously, just about any restaurant dish can be made at home. That's not the point of getting it from a restaurant.
You can ask for a fresh batch. The king pao chicken is what sits out.
THIS VIDEO BROUGHT TO YOU BY PEI WEI
Jonathan Wilson 😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 absolutely
This video only made me go out to get it. Thanks!!!
It's fun eating out. Just enjoy and don't worry about the small stuff
How simplistic can you get! You can make it better at home. That's true for any fast food.
I don't know about anywhere else, but the customers at the local P.E. often ask for the food to be made fresh; they don't want what's in the pans.
3 or 4? Thats any fast food place. Fake news
I pay for it to get made because I’m lazy to cook and clean and I just want to eat it
2 Tscoops of ginger garlic 2 Tscoops of chili flakes, 5 cups orange chicken sauce for batch #2
Panda Express is my favorite fast food place. Bigger Plate: Double Orange chicken, white steamed rice and the extra tiny entree another thing of Orange chicken to finish off the rice
That’s why you go close to closing time because they make it fresh to reduce waste
We don’t put uncooked sauce on the orange chicken 💀🤣
This is a whole lie I work at Panda Express and if the food has been sitting for more than 45 min we throw it out
I was hoping they wouldn't say that
I've eaten orange chicken from Panda Express and haven't had any problems. Often I go during lunchtime and I've seen the
tray filled constantly.. no chance of orange chicken sitting too long.
As a former cook at panda I can say besides the obvious deep frying and high sugar sauces. It's pretty clean food, veggies cut freshly the day before if not that same day. And let me tell you, the cleaning of the store itself was tiring, but it felt good whenever health inspectors would go in and say, "wow this is a really clean place... other Chinese restaurants aren't close to this. "
I get the plate to go...
Half fried rice/half chow mein orange chicken with some almond shrimp 😍😍😍
How much did Pei Wei pay for this ad?
You should never order anything from Panda Express...😂😂😂
Nah, I’m still going to order it.
1:53 you’re not sneaky or funny Amy Schumer.
omg YES
funnyfunkinmonkey at least she changed her identity so that no one would bully her.
Amy Schumer if she lost ~100 lbs
Man! I work there and that’s a lie we don’t use the same chicken ,, the truth is tho don’t go there when they are about to close
2 item combo please: half chow mein, half steamed. Orange chicken & angus steak.
I can confirm (by my own anecdotal experiences) that if you order between 3pm and 4pm, you’re likely to get food that’s obviously been out a while. That said, find the manager and let him/her know that it’s not appealing, and they’ll fix it with a new (fresh) batch.
It's still good though
*watches this*
*gets hungry*
*orders Panda Express*
*gets rice and orange chicken*
Nothing at Panda Express is healthy, duh.
Target stores has a bottle of their brand of orange sauce that I just put on some popcorn chicken before heating in the microwave.
I always get the same thing from Panda Express lol:
Half noodles half fried rice, orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and a side of cheese rangoons 😋😋😋😋
Are you aware of the upcharge for the honey Walnut shrimp? Lol
Many of the Chinese food in America that does not exist in China do exist in the Philippines (beef brocoli, chopsuey, egg rolls, Chowmien noodles cooked in American style, orange chicken....etc.)
This just made me want orange chicken more!!!
As a former Panda Express employee, I see no lies. 😂
I work at panda express and this is untrue, we're always too busy for food to sit for more than like a half an hour. Food is always fresh and if you want it the freshest look for the mostly full dishes, those ones likely just came out.
I only go to Panda for the Kung Pao Chicken! To me that's the best thing they have!
That manager at 1:53 looks like a cuter version of Amy Schumer.
Of to panda express ... Orange chicken and beef broccoli with steam brown rice ...
ayy same thing i order every single time i go there
Is that, that vine song about iggy rapping to Asian meals.
if its the most ordered item then that means new orange chicken is being made by the second, meaning your more than likely to get it fresh
Bruh I work there and we don’t ever do that shit
Actually, former-employees have said that the food is almost always made fresh and the food that has been sitting out will be thrown away after 40+ minutes.
Haven't had orange chicken for a while but I like eating PF Chang's sweet and sour chicken from the store and putting it on my noodles
I’ve gotten food poisoning from panda express in only a matter of a month. The first time i was taking a trip to Houston with some friends and he bit down on some raw chicken and he threw up all night. Me and my mom also got food poisoning from a PE in Missouri when they served us raw chicken again! Never eating at PE again
I work at Panda Express and I would say PLEASE don’t order the super greens. They are just plain annoying to make. Also, orange chicken is super popular so it’s fresh 98% of the time at my store
What non-Asians don't understand is that you're paying $6 for a small microwaved portion out of a bag. If you go to an actual Asian restaurant, you get a double portion of real Asian food.
How many times we gotta say it? Were here for a good time not a long time.
This is so true for pretty much every fast food restaurant. Why is it news?
this holds true for any restaurant that has food sitting in bins like salad bars, buffets etc. this is totally stupid all of their food sits in bins !
I worked at a panda for a year, and if our food sat out for too long we had to throw it out...
Who else is eating orange chicken from Panda Express while watching this?
Teriyaki chicken, chowmein, and beef broccoli is the best order
Wavy Johnny oml that’s actually what I usually get all the time ;-:
Orange chicken dang it
People pay for what they can not do, or simply to lazy to do or learn themselves. Pei wei is my favorite, only had it once in Phoenix’s airport, wish new york had their services 🤗
Almost every time I come in I see the orange chicken get refilled
I actually don’t care
The only thing you shouldn't order is black pepper chicken unless it is busy.
If you’re eating at Panda Express you don’t wanna diet, you just want stuff that tastes good
My mom asked if I was hungry when she drove there and said no even though it be my first time trying it. When we got to our Aunt’s house she opened the box to see dry ass noodles. Yep...some miracle saved my taste buds....
Unfortunately that’s the one of the things we get the most from Panda Express.........
As an employee, the orange chicken sells out too fast, and we throw away old food that hasent been eaten.
